x.you just don't know who i am.x

The heavy clouds above slowly rolled through the periwinkle sky, carrying with them their heavy burden of rain. The sun hid behind the ashen mask, retaining the light for another day. Turning her silver-tipped cranium to the sky, tents of fur and metal twitched in recognition, the wind hissing around the jewelry. As the wolfess drank in the weather with turquoise optics, her ebony nostrils were charting the next few miles of her course. The nomad was blessed with a lack of urgency towards reaching her destination, but impatience nipped at her heels every few minutes. Her journey was battling with her nature, the longevity of the trek forcing a whole new level of focus that Ghita hadn't possessed in a very long time.

Finally making the executive decision to avoid hunting in this area, the timber wolf leapt forward into motion, long limbs rippling as muscles stretched and bunched together. Dainty paws found their way over shells and stones, avoiding hazards that would only slow her process. Settling into the comfort of motion, the femme was easily running fifty mph, unfocused on anything but following the scent of a large group of wolves housed together. The wind from her speed weaved through her long, coarse fur, pinning it back and diminishing her size, revealing patches of brown and black beneath the silver. A pink tongue snaked out of her jaws, sliding over the snake bites to cool herself down.

Approaching the steep mountainous look-out point, Ghita only slowed her pace minutes before she would find herself halfway through the river. Optics drank in the scenery before her for precious moments, noting the limestone and shallow depths. Letting out something resembling a human huff, the wolfess lowered her haunches down to the earth, sitting and waiting for a pack member to arrive. Waiting didn't bode well for the femme, so before long she had taken her paw and started sketching in the soil. In her mind it wasn't earth she was scribing upon, but leather, intricate designs lacing up and down what could be a bracelet.

Absorbed in her design, Ghita ignored the details of her last experience with a pack. She left the miscarriage behind her, time tentatively healing over the scar, details of her flight blocked out from memory. There was no point in digging up old wounds, things she had left to graves long ago. Memories of her puppyhood occasionally plagued her, causing the pinpricks of loneliness to bother her from formerly light-hearted independence. She had weaved through the nomadic life, bearing piercings from her time spent there, constantly keeping her ears pricked for any news of her siblings.

The news came in as whispered appreciation from a loner who had left his pack and met with the nomads, exchanging company for news of the packs in this new land. When the name of her sister danced on his tongue as the leader of a pack was mentioned, Ghita made her mind to investigate the pack, only partially believing there was a chance that this same wolf was her sister. And even if it was, there wasn't necessarily a deep longing to meet with her again; even in their puppyhood the two had never been as close as Savina and Ehno were. They had isolated her, causing the wolf to gain her 'devil may care' wild attitude and critical view of the world, and for the better, perhaps. Having had her fair share of pack life, she had seen the more popular wolves weave in and out of the pack's eye, disapproving of certain actions and heralding others. That life wasn't one that Ghita wanted to lead under any circumstance; she preferred to be free and wild, untethered by meaningless opinions.

And she indeed had found the pack her sister led. Crimson Dreams was it's name, and Ghita arrived only to find her sister late in pregnancy, stirring unpleasant memories to reach her once more. Seeing the birth of her nieces and nephews only unnerved her, thinking of the pups she had lost and the lives they could've led. And because of those pups that had just entered her world, she had to leave theirs, leaving the pups behind and leading her to the Nomadic life she had previously been living in, far away from the memories the pack life had revived.

Somehow these memories had broken through the trance induced by designing, and the unpleasant circumstances of her miscarriage with Carlo formed a bitter taste in her mouth. For the first time, the wolfess thought of turning tail. She knew for a fact that her sister led this pack, which spurred a long-lost feeling of longing for a sibling, but did she really want to be around her sister again? Her nieces and nephews had most likely grown up now, were ready to take on the world. Could she really watch them and socialize with them, every moment knowing that her pups never had the chance at a life such as this? As she further entertained this prospect, more and more bitter remembrances haunted her, spurring her back to the enjoyable freedom of being a nomad. Wincing visibly, she turned her head to the south, squinting to see the faintest hint of an ocean at her back. The lowest hint of a whine escaped her chest, and the femme rose to her paws, half-way to deciding to leave without even meeting the pack again.

It had been a tiring few weeks for the Italian wolfess. So much had happened and so much had changed. But finally she felt she was easing into her new role as Commander. She was so thankful to everyone in the pack that had stood behind her, for she knew that she couldn't have done this all without them. Once again Crimson Dreams had proved its strength and perseverance. Savina trusted that they would be able to overcome whatever obstacle was thrown their way. It was their loyalty to one another and the love they all shared that kept them so tight-knit and strong. It was just the kind of pack she wanted to live in, and the fact that she now lead it was a privilege she would have never assumed would be granted.

The mother's paws traveled quickly over the territory, making her usual rounds of the borders. Most times there was nothing of interest on these treks, but as she came upon the place known as the Highrocks a familiar scent was carried to her on the wind. Ghita? Her sister had appeared quite unexpectedly a few moons ago and then disappeared without a word to anyone. She had personally made no efforts to try and locate her wayward sibling, after all she had just given birth and had her newborns to consider. Though she knew that Ehno had searched extensively and never picked up a trace of her. If there was one thing about Ghita, she certainly had a talent for leaving someplace without leaving any clues to her whereabouts. Savina might have been more amazed if she wasn't her sister and didn't worry so much about her.

Quickly and with her heart pounding she bounded up the high outcrop of rocks, wondering if she was simply imagining things or if the last of her littermates had indeed returned. The sable fey was panting by the time she reached the top, just in time to see the silver form of her sibling turning her back on the lands. Her face held no hint of a smile or a frown, for her feelings were somewhere in between. "Parte senza infastidire a fateci sapere lei stanno bene?" she said, a hint of bitterness in her voice. She loved her sister, but her constant disappearances were wearing on her nerves. How could she come back and not immediately inform herself or Ehno? Didn't she care?

x.so close - so close and yet so far.x

Pawsteps were the only thing that alerted the timber wolf to Savina's arrival, as her head was turned away. Feeling a twang of guilt to be caught in retreat, she turned her cranium to the source of the noise, head lowering as she went, remembering the pack protocol. At once the familiar scent that was both hers and so different hit the roof of her mouth heavily, turquoise eyes shimmering with a cool recognition that hid excitement. "Savina." The heavily accented words slipped out of her mouth, fully Italian; the luperci had never bothered to learn the language of the natives all too thoroughly. The panting of her sister alerted her to the fact that she had approached quite rapidly - probably just in time to catch her tail, no doubt.

She let out a small sigh, before sitting down best a wolf could. The bitterness in Savina's voice was all too recognizable, reminding her of older packmates who felt it was their duty to reprimand her. Running her tongue over her snakebites, a telltale sign of annoyance, she tried appeasing the ebony wolfess.
"È buono da vederlo. Come siete stato?"
Studying her siblings face, as was her habit, she saw no signs of aging throughout the years she had been gone. Her own tone held a slight rebellious note to it, although her face was hard as stone, giving nothing away.

Perhaps in another situation it would have frustrated Ghita. The inability to slip past the annoyance and the pain just to interact with her sister on a level without annoyance was plaguing her, and once again thoughts of departure rang loud and clear.
"Avete sentito da Ehno?"
Perhaps changing the topic quickly and frequently was the key; keeping responses curt and leaving no opening for past feelings to creep in. A need to ask about Ghita's kin pricked at her sides, encouraging her to speak, but if she did, the signora knew that it would only open the dam, letting unwanted waters flow and perhaps drown the siblings beyond repair.

[sorry it's fast - I have to go soon. >_<]

it's ok! no worries :3 Oh, and she's only been gone a few months and had met up with Ehno when she was last here. 300+

Savina's shoulders slumped slightly as her sister actually lowered her head in her presence. Had they become so distant that she felt the need to do that? When it came to newcomers the Commander could be a bit of a stickler about such things, but they were family. There shouldn't be any reason for Ghita to react to her in such a way, Savina didn't expect it of her at all. It actually made her feel quite awkward. If Ehno had tried anything of the sort she would have pawed his muzzle and told him to knock it off. But she and Ghita were not nearly as close as she and Ehno. Even so, she hadn't realized that they had drifted so far apart from each other.

Ghita proceeded to talk as if the current situation were something other than what it was. She was cool and casual, as if it made no difference that she had disappeared on them again. Didn't she know they had been worried about her? That every time she did this they searched and searched for her with no idea where she had gone or why? It all seemed so strange to her. Ehno had been the one with the wanderlust, and yet he had stayed in these lands with her for over a year now, a true and loyal member of Crimson Dreams. Emerald eyes swept over her sister. The femme seemed to be well physically, at least there was that.

A heavy sigh escaped her lungs as her gaze fell to the stone she stood upon. "Ghita..." The bitterness that had inhabited her voice before was gone. Now she was just confused and wishing that her sibling would realize that her constant unexplained departures hurt she and Ehno to their cores. "Perché lei ha partito? Perché lei non ci ha detto? L'Ehno ha guardato ovunque per lei." Savina looked back up to Ghita, the way she felt evident in her eyes. She wanted her sister to be a part of her life, but now she didn't know if that's what Ghita wanted at all.

Studying her sister closely now, Savina's slumped shoulders didn't escape her notice. Her own pierced ears twitched in confusion, but at the same time brushed the reaction aside for later examination. The luperci waited for her sister to respond to her questions with almost baited breath; Ghita was the type who never delved into further meanings, or enjoyed really deep sentimental talks. The silence that it took the ebony fae to respond began to worry her sister, who began shifting her weight in between her front paws. Her optics slid beyond the sibling's figure, trying to turn the situation into something less humiliating than crawling back to her pack for the upteenth time.

Her name was spoken now, all attention drawn to the one who spoke. Turquoise eyes met emerald ones for a brief second, long enough to communicate interest, before turning her head again, listening to the Italian words dance in almost liquid harmony. It was a language she missed in this new land, lost among the natives and unnatural to their tongues. Ghita could almost imagine being back at home, in youth, as she heard the language - no matter what the words were themselves. Savina's tone had dropped all annoyance - a short lived relief to the wayward sister who hated being patronized. However what Savina asked could not be answered in quick sentences - there was much more to consider.

Did she know Ehno had looked for her afterwards? Si, in a way. It was to be expected from her family, however resented at the same time. Her siblings couldn't seem to make peace with Ghita's itching paws that needed to be away from pain, make peace with her nature that ran away from everything bad. Why did she leave? A simple question with a not so simple answer. She knew her sister had climbed up in the ranks of the pack, knew she was heavy with pups, but couldn't stand by and watch it all unfold again. Parts of it were fear for the lives of the pups, it was true. Fear that her being around them would somehow kill them the way her own pups died inside of her. But another part was true unfathomable envy of her sibling; once the pups were born and obviously healthy, her sister had succeeded where the luperci couldn't in yet another way. Ghita had never learned to shift, and yet Savina could transform fluidly between all three forms. Her sister could sustain pups within her, and Ghita could not. Her sister managed to be popular within the pack, rise up to lead them where Ghita could only be an outsider who other pack members rarely wished to associate with.

That wasn't to say that the italian signora was angry at the leader. Quite the opposite - she was elated for her successes, but that was where the reason for her flight took roost. She was almost afraid to be a member of any pack again, afraid that she would bring all hell upon her loved ones. And yet, the loneliness that took hold of her yowled to be heard, to be acknowledged, to be healed. She wanted to be a part of her nieces' and nephews' lives, but her personality, deep rooted in her soul, seemed to tether her just outside the boundaries of happiness.
"Si, Savina. Sapevo. O indovinato, almeno"
She almost wanted to give voice to the thoughts spiraling in her mind, the tune most of them were singing was somewhere along the lines of 'don't patronize me'. Ghita knew she was asking her sister for a favor that she might not want to give the wolfess who had left her time and time again.
"Posso rispondere alla tua domanda, con il motivo per cui voglio tornare, invece? Voglio sapere la famiglia ho lasciato."
They're called tables and thank you I made this one ^^ The last post I made in that topic is a table I made for one of Ghita's previous players and you'd be welcome to use it! Otherwise if you'd like a different one I can make something else too! Also Jazper can hop in whenever now. 300+

It seemed that every time Ghita took off the distance between them grew greater and greater. Though if there was a way to counteract that, Savina had no clue. There was only so much she could do. Only so much to show her sister that she was loved and wanted. Ghita had to be able to accept that love and know that she was wanted here, otherwise no matter what the dark fey did nothing would change. She knew coming to these different lands was quite the adjustment, it had been for her, but wouldn't it be so much easier if she stayed here? Were her family was? Surely no one else out there really knew Italian and Ghita had not been as apt a pupil with English as herself and Ehno had.

Perhaps it was the different ways that the two Marinos handled pain that made it so hard for them to understand one another. For Savina she knew that she had to stand and face her problems. She might flee from them for a time, but she knew that she could not flee forever. Difficult situations needed to be dealt with head on, becoming a leader had taught her a great deal about that. But with Ghita, she always ran away, it was the way she coped. Maybe the Commander simply didn't understand that, couldn't wrap her mind around it. They were working out of different playbooks and maybe that was the root of some of their problems.

It seemed to take her lighter hued littermate a while to respond and she almost wondered if she would respond at all. If she would answer her questions or simply try to change the subject to something else. Savina wondered why she was here? Was she just going to run away again or did she want to try and stick around? The woman hoped for the latter, but she wasn't exactly holding her breath. But then words floated in the air between them again and her inky ears perked. So she did want to come back? A small smile twitched at the corners of her lips. "Il Ghita, lei sa che lei è benvenuto qui. Tutta la famiglia è qui, lei dovrebbe essere qui anche. La vogliamo qui." She wanted her sister to be a part of her life, to be a part of her children's lives.

Turquoise optics saw the ebony furred triangles perk forward at her response. She watched as the aftermaths of her speech floated around their necks, making sense of what had just been said. Ghita felt as if what she had said to her sister could very well be binding, a noose around her neck, restraining her to the pack where she just might not want to be. But there was always the side that Ghita had, the tendency to freak out if she was restrained, before she even knew if the situation would be bad or not. She sighed inwardly, hiding her misgivings from Savina, who seemed to recognize her intent. Catching it quickly, la signora saw the smile twitch at the edge of her sister's mouth, and couldn't help but return an even smaller one.

"Sì, è vero. Sono tutti qui. Ma è una ragione sufficiente per me è troppo?" If Ghita was going to rejoin Crimson Dreams, this would be the last time. She didn't know how much more aggravation her family would let her give them. It was so weird, Ghita only came here to check to see if Crimson Dreams was still intact, holding almost no intent to rejoin the pack. But somehow she had spun a web so tight it was inevitable that she would get trapped in it.

She almost said the words. They almost darted out of her mouth in response to her sister's words, drawing them, luring them out of the safety of the mind, the abstract. She almost said that this was where she wanted to be too, she was so close. But she was also so close to the edge of the cliff, wondering if she would have to sacrifice happiness and freedom for her siblings. Was she willing to do that? "Come sono i vostri cuccioli? I'd ... per vedere come loro. Ehno troppo, e Kansas ..."

The past couple of days had been a whirlwind of emotion. Three encounters with others stood out in his mind as moments that had made things right when everything seemed to be wrong in his life. He had been cursing his life's karma build up. If there was such things as a past life he must have done horrible murderous things to deserve this excuse for living. The general good mood and sweet guy demeanour Jazper normally strutted around seemed to disappear and pop back moment to moment. His parents killed, his adoptive parents gone off, first mate left after a miscarriage, second mate missing. He was worried about Mahlouk, being so socially awkward had to be hard but on the other hand he was mad that he has simply disappeared without even saying goodbye.

On the brighter side of things he had managed to have a run in with his old pack mate Geneva, taught Amata a small amount about music, and managed to get himself a new look while in the big city. Wandering around the boarder had become a past time of his lately, helping him clear his mind and organize his thoughts. His silent pass time was however interrupted but the sound of paws running across the ground and the familiar smell of Savina. She was obviously rushing off tot he boarder for some reason and his protective instincts sent him tracking her from a distance. What could be so important to send her running. Keeping himself hidden in the darkness of the forest he observed the two females conversation. Their conversation in Italian being lost on his enlgish ears.

Finally, his curiosity got the better of him. He wanted to show Savina his new tattoo anyways so why not now? Besides, what was the worst that could happen from meeting a newcomer? His Secui form left the shaded disguise of the forest and started towards Savina with a smile, sitting himself down beside his leader with a nod to the newcomer. His massive size made most look tiny and childlike in comparison. He refused to go down to his lupus form ever. Subconsciously he felt the need to stay in his larger forms to protect those around him. After all, it was better to stay bigger then your opponent. Smiling he winked at Savina, "Thought I'd see what was causing you to rush around the boarders." He eagerly awaited approval on his new look. Savina's opinion had always effected him greatly. Turning his lightning yellow eyes to the stranger he allowed his warm sideways smile, "Hi. I'm Jazper Rhiannon-Knight."

I'll get you all titled up, but we'll continue the thread obviously Smile 500+

Savina could see the struggle going on behind those turquoise eyes. Didn't she want to stay here? Didn't she want to be around her family? The raven woman couldn't imagine having knowledge of where your family was and willingly steering clear of them. True, Ghita had never been as close as she and Ehno had, but they hadn't been on bad terms either. Then again, she had been the one to stay behind. When both her brother and sister had left the pack for their separate reasons she had been the one to stick around, unable to leave momma. It was only after the accident and their mother had left this world that she had moved on. Maybe family was just more important to her than it was to her sister, though she couldn't imagine why.

Ghita returned no concrete answer and Savina had to stop the question in her throat quickly before it burst out. She would play along with her sibling's ways, perhaps it would make her more comfortable and more willing. Though of course the thought of her children brought back all the recent unpleasant events. Wincing a little she spoke. "Fanno bene...soprattutto. C'era qualcosa che successo che ha girato recentemente il mondo sottosopra intorno a qui. Il vecchio Comandante, Naniko, usava delle droghe e Cambria li è entrati in..." The mother took a shaky breath. "È appassionata e ha rifiutato di distribuirlo su o chiede scusa per ciò che è successo così abbiamo dovuto forzarla. Il Cambria era molto depresso del ed i malati per un mentre, ma sembra fare meglio finalmente. E...Kansas e ho avuto un pezzetto di una lotta...Non ho parlato a lui poiché." She wanted to patch things up with him soon, she just hadn't yet. "L'Ehno è bene nonostante." At least not everything was in shambles.

Looking back to her sibling and attempting to wash the pain from her features she couldn't keep the question in anymore. "Così, lei starà?" Though almost as quickly as the words left her mouth she heard a noise behind her and her head whipped around. A startled look was in those emerald eyes. How had someone been so close and she unaware? But soon the surprise melted into a warm smile and her tail wagged as Jazper moved to sit beside her. Gaze stopped on that bright marking around his eye. That was certainly new, she hadn't seen anything quite like it before. At his words she gave him a puzzled look before it clicked. Oh, he must have seen her rushing up here and wanted to make sure everything was fine. "I see. You wouldn't be a good protector if you didn't now, would you?" she said teasingly. "That's an interesting marking, I like it."

The Commander watched as Jazz introduced himself to Ghita. She knew her sister wasn't as good with English as she and Ehno were, but she said nothing. She should be able to figure out that it was simply an introduction. "This is Ghita Marino, my sister," she said to her giant companion.

[ooc: thanks! ^^]

Ebony pawsteps drew her gaze away from her littermate to regard the newcomer with slight apprehension. His build was bigger than hers was, and he seemed quite familiar with his pack leader (to Ghita's unfounded surprise). A yellow tattoo blossomed over one of his eyes, reminding the signora painfully of the nomads she had left, who were quite interested in leather works & piercings, as her modest five had to show. Jazper almost seemed... unworldly to her, as the Italian luperci had never mastered the art of shifting. Where her legs grew small and thin, his were large and bulky, rippling with obvious muscle. And the most obvious difference was the mane that he sported, giving Ghita the impression of a lion-wolf hybrid on first glance.

Lost in absorbing Jazper's appearance, she had quite rudely been staring at him, ignoring the speech that had floated around her in the meantime. She caught a sentence in an unintelligible tongue, but left it, returning her gaze to Savina, before a greeting announced itself. "Eh? Savina, ciò che è dice?" Her english had never been very good, and now the weakness presented itself where Ghita had forgotten about it before. "Jaz... Jazpèr?" Her attempt at pronouncing what she took as a name was heavily laden with Italian, almost unrecognizable at first. "Jazpér Ree... Ree-knight?" Behind her flawed language, her mind was struggling, pulling a heavy burden behind her, trying to make sense of the name. It dragged over syllables, compared to the Italian names which gently leapt over boundaries, and the foreign name made no sense, leaving a bitter taste of unfamiliarity in her mouth. Grimacing to herself, she imagined that this would only be one of the many names she'd have trouble with. "Ciao, sono Ghita Marino. Savina's ... sorella." At the pause, it suddenly occured to her that some of the members of Crimson Dreams she knew, and those who didn't probably wouldn't take too kindly to her darting out again and again. "Me, Ghita. And Savina. Marino, two." Stringing together the limited language she had, she tried English now, communicating with all effort her relation to the pack leader.

News of her kin brightened Ghita, and kept her mind off of her attempts at English. At the pause, Ghita grew more serious, optics flashing with concern. She stood up, mothering instincts clicking in where she least wanted them to, at the blossoming concern as to the incident. "Il comandante ... droga? Perché ... è lei ...? Savina ... E 'bene fare, ora?" Shock replaced logical thought processes, at just how much of their lives she had missed. Ghita wasn't pretending to be innocent, a perfect role model come flying in to shape her kin into bright, successful wolves, but something flickered inside that made her want, no, need to help the pups, and her sister too. "E Kansas? Sorella..." There was nothing that could have prepared her for the onslaught of her sister's problems. It was almost as if Ghita had expected Savina to be living a happy, peaceful life away from strife, far away from the truth as her homeland was.

There was a pause, no doubt, in between the shock and the settling that made Ghita respond the way she did, perhaps in a way that she hadn't considered herself wanting to. But, she had danced around the topic long enough. Her tone low and almost to a whisper, the words spun out of her mouth, and Ghita could even see the collar around her neck forming. "Sì, finché posso."

OOCConfusedtop staring at Jaz, geez Katie ;P So I thought I deleted my last post but I found it on my history Big Grin What an amazing invention.

He kept silent, allowing Savina to speak fully before speaking. He simply smiled meekly at her comment. It could have been taken as rude for him to be watching her so closely but it was true, he wouldn't be a good protector if he hadn't have caught onto the urgency in her running. As for his leader's approval on his new markings his smile grew, "I just got it from some crazy bloke over in Halifax. I was raised to believe in the sun god and goddess of the moon so I figure why not." shrugging he explained further, "The sun god is suppose to be this amazing protector and provider. Not a half bad role model if I do say so myself." He chuckled lightly. At the announcement that this stranger was her sister his gaze quickly turned to stare at her with a welcoming smile. Another Marino!

However, his smile faded. Once again he was left being stared at. He shifted almost awkwardly. Most of the time he was only stared at by other males fully surprised that one of their own could easily render themselves as useless. Some pride thing he had always assumed. This time however, the female staring seemed in awe, or shock as his build. His leaders, his adoptive mother, and most females usually just made a comment and moved on. This one's gaze was prolonged. She didn't look like Savina, maybe slightly like Ehno. She was still a little on the small size, but who was he to judge. Maybe if he was normal sized she would look bigger.

Confusion hit him as she turned to the black fey and spoke once again in Italian. Looking slightly taken back until the females gaze returned to him in a poor attempt at his name. He nodded slightly with a weak smile. His name had been butchered. He let her attempt at an introduction and her Italian word to Savina finish. "Jazper." He nodded as he sat back on his hind legs and pointed to himself with a paw. With a refreshed smile he spoke softly, lowing his front legs back down and taking a tiny step towards the new female. "Ghita, Welcome to Crimson Dreams." With a tiny awkward bow.

Turning to Savina he looked at her with a hidden frustration. "Could you give her a better introduction for me. Like that she can just use Knight and not Rhiannon if it's confusing." He asked with a sheepish grin and big gold eyes. He felt driven to explain himself more to the female, to give a proper introduction on why he happened to be following her sister. As an after thought he added in a whisper as though Ghita would understand, "Why was she staring at me?" He felt slightly guilty asking the coal female to translate her sisters very being. Purhaps he should have taken up Italian while he had Ehno and Savina around. Might have come in handy right about now. Turning back to Ghita he inconspicuously looked her over. Her eyes really stood out from the colors in her fur.
Savina attention, for the moment, was completely focused on Jazper and so she did not see her sister staring at him so intently right away. She listened to his explanation for the new decoration on his body. As far as gods and goddesses went, she was mostly familiar with those of Greek and Roman origin. Though even though she knew of them, she did not particularly subscribe to that exact brand of paganism. She believed in the gods of nature and the fates. They did not have any names, but she knew they were there. "I see, that is very interesting Jazz! And yes, a good role model indeed!" A good role model that suited their steadfast protector incredibly well.

It was when they both turned to face Ghita again that she noticed her sister's unwavering stare. Her jaw clenched a little, feeling sorry for her friend beside her. Though she could understand her siblings surprise, Jazz was the largest wolf she had ever met, and in the halfing form it was even more shocking. That, and Ghita was not used to seeing any wolf in anything other than the natural form. Still, she could feel Jazper shift uneasily beside her and wished that Ghita would stop staring at him. Thankfully it seemed she snapped out of that dazed state and began to speak. "Sé introduce appena. Si chiama il Rhiannon-Cavaliere di Jazper. Lei può chiamarlo appena Jazper tuttavia, ciò sarà più facile." She was pleased to see Ghita do her best to introduce herself in English. It really was a shame she hadn't taken to the foreign language as Ehno and herself had. It would be a long time until she would be able to speak it fluently. Savina smiled as Jazper bowed before her sister and quickly caught his gaze when he turned to speak to her again. "I already explained it all to her. I know it'll be a little difficult gaping the language barrier. She didn't keep up with her English as Ehno and I did." Then she lowered her voice as well, despite knowing that Ghita wouldn't understand. "Where we were born no one ever shifted. We were all luperci, but we lived as regular wolves. You're quite a sight to behold because of your size anyway, but seeing you in that form it's even more surprising. I apologize on her behalf though, I know she didn't mean any offense."

As talk returned to the incidents that had recently shook the pack and especially herself, emerald eyes turned more somber and her ears folded back. A sigh escaped her chest. "È...ricuperando. È tutto fuori del suo sistema ora, ma è stato molto depressa. Penso che lo supera nonostante." Her head only nodded as the name of her mate was spoken. Savina was still hurt that he had kept a secret from her and that secret had eventually brought harm to Cambria. But right now she was even more upset that they hadn't made up yet. Her love for him was too strong to let this tear them apart. He had been so sorry, she knew that. At that time she just hadn't been able to forgive him. She was now though. Then as Ghita confirmed that she would stay a soft smile came back to her features. "Sono contento. L'ho mancata la sorella."

She heard the larger male talking easily about something, although the meaning was beyond her. Eventually her eyes found the marking over his, the large sun contrasting with his ebony fur in an altogether pleasing way. She was so distracted by his appearance, however, that it took a few seconds for Ghita to realize that not only was he staring at her, but her sister was too. Embarrassment crept through her silver-tipped fur, and her cranium dropped microscopically, her turquoise eyes finally drawn away from him. She opened her mouth to explain herself, but she didn't have the words, or the grace, to ask just what he was, beyond a wolf.

Hearing the name repeated, she nodded her head, a smile beginning to form across her muzzle. "Jahz-pehr, si?." One could almost see her whole body working at the name, trying to get it the way that he said it, without the heavy Italian accent. Frustration rankled her throughout, exhibited in a sigh that hissed through her lungs. Maybe it would've been easier if she was mute, to save herself the aggravation and embarrassment in her sister's pack. What pack leader would even want a sister who couldn't speak their language? She was unfamiliar in this region, and it showed.

Whatever her emotion was beforehand, it did a total one-eighty as the introduction hit her ears. She watched Jazper bow to her, flattered by the gesture, before she mimicked him, her eyes sparkling nearly as bright as they did when she was happiest. "Grazie! Lei è molto gentile." After her speech, she turned her eyes to her sister, asking her silently to translate. What wasn't shown was a newly kindled determination to learn this language, so that she would no longer rely on her sister to communicate.

Nodding towards Savina, she finally grasped at the meaning behind the previous speech. "Jazper Cavaliere è." However, the continuation of the Anglicized conversation set her off slightly, so she sat on her haunches, waiting patiently. Her claws reached the soil and continued the design, waiting for Italian or Jazper's speech to reach her ears. When it did, her attention was unwavering. Listening to her niece's condition solemnly, she nodded at all the right places. "Speriamo che posso essere di qualche aiuto a lei." Her mind was already racing ahead of herself, wondering if the Italian aunt could even form a bond with any of the pups. The nod was not lost on her, however. She winced appreciatively, communicating with her eyes that she'd do her best to help them. And finally, she returned the nod, a smile playing on her face as her fate was sealed. "Fun to see again, everyone!" She attempted more English, searching the faces of her companions for feedback.
