I changed my mind about the setting, this would be Sea Dog Isle. I thought this was somewhat more appropriate. ;D And I'd like to post-date this a day or two, to July 30-31? If that's okay with you.

The coyote woman was pretty damn far from home. She had wandered for a while after the brief meeting with Warren in the city while she had been gathering supplies for Halo's chaos star. There was always that urge, and she figured since she had only seen a small portion of the furthest territories and she still had yet to explore thoroughly. The last time she had passed through here, she had encountered Rachias, though the girl had declined to immediately return to Inferni. This was partially the reason Kaena again found herself at that same decaying boat, inspecting its entrance for a fresh sign of the girl. The constant rain had washed away the old scents, and there was nothing new to aid the woman in her search.

She had spied the island on her last swing through these parts, and it had intrigued her then. Now, she was too curious to resist, and despite the drizzling rain, the Lykoi woman plunged into the ocean, swimming strongly even in her two-legged form. The bay's currents were not so powerful, though, and she was glad for that. The ocean flowing through a channel even as narrow as the one separating Sea Dog Isle from the mainland would have had far more powerful pull on her limbs, and she might have been swept to sea easily. But here the water was not so deep and she paddled across, climbing up onto the narrow beach and shaking herself off, though the drizzle was quick to replace the water she'd lost through her vigorous shaking.

The woman licked her lips as she surveyed this secluded spot, inhaling and smelling no fresh scents on the still breeze, only the rain. There was a thin forest a few feet in, and the coyote woman strode into it fearlessly, head held high. She wandered along a few ill-used, ancient trails, her canvas bag soggy against her shoulder. She had taken a plastic bag in the city and tucked everything into it, protecting the inks and needle from the elements so they would not deteriorate and become useless. That would mean another trip back to the city.

Before long, she encountered the mouth of a cave. Curious, the woman headed forward into the darkness, relying on her other senses to guide her in the dim light of the cave. Before long, she came to a wide room, and there was a damp skylight in one corner, allowing just enough light to filter into the room so the coyote could see. There was nothing here but a small chest, half-buried in the ground. Curious, the coyote investigated, kicking it open to reveal only dust. There didn't seem to be anywhere else to explore in this cave, so she was about to turn around and head out, disappointed that this venture had revealed nothing of value or interest.

Yes, and certainly! C:

Restless energy coursed his veins, hot as the blood it traced through, undeniable and fierce. Things were more peaceful here than he had anticipated. He had not been in a fight in too long, had not gotten laid in even longer. It was unacceptable to the fast-paced monarch. He needed something, some way to fulfill the wanderlust that kept spilling over. His packmates and followers did not seem to understand this, not really... they mewled for him to return, to lead and protect them, to act like a leader. He had chosen a co-leader for that reason, but she was gone now, perhaps never to return. That still irked him, too... He had trusted her with his judgment, but she ended up as flighty and unreliable as he himself was.

Jacquez Trouillefou found himself standing by the ocean, the ever-turbulent sea which he loved so dearly. The fresh salty water lapped at his footpaws with every ebb of the tide, tugging and teasing at his feathery fur before receding back from the sand. There was an island out there, a dark inviting smudge on the horizon. If he had a boat, he would have explored it already. As it were, the one-armed man eyed it impudently until he could resist no longer. Something was calling to him there - perhaps fate had a surprise in store, should he reach the mystery isle. Immediately latching onto that vague idea, the king flashed a resolute grin, digging his long claws into a shank of driftwood and dragging it back to the deep blue from whence it came. He swung his long leg over one side, mounting it like a horse, and kicked off, letting the gentle current of the bay rock him as he journeyed forth.

A grey drizzle had him soaked by the time the log ground up against the shore. The collie hybrid shook himself vigorously, peeling the damp brown hair of his mane from where it was plastered against his neck, tying it up with a small strip of deerhide that he kept on his wrist. It was colder outside than he liked, but there was still a new place to explore - and that made everything worthwhile! A secluded forest loomed above him, and he bared his teeth in a wicked smile, plunging in.

So far, though, he had not encountered anything that he found intriguing, and after several moments of clawing past tree after tree, his enthusiasm began slipping. Maybe no one else had the gumption to visit this place. Maybe he was the only one who'd ever pulled it off before. Snorting with derision, the tall Optime peered around the slippery base of a pine tree, folded ears flicking forward to catch a sound. There were at least wild animals about, he assumed, hearing a scuffling echo from the dank mouth of a cave. "It would do well to get out of this infernal rain," he muttered under his breath, wringing rainwater from his sodden tail. His majestic appearance was best suited to bright sunlight, where he could glitter and sparkle and preen. Nighttime and rain were two of his less appealing status conditions. Goodness knows what he would feel like during winter - the man had never seen a snowflake in his life. Without further ado, the one-armed canine stooped through the cave entrance, obsidian eyes shining through the gloom.

The wounds across her shoulder had begun to heal, though the process was slow and painful. The jagged slashmarks across her right shoulder had gone shiny and pink, scabbing over thickly to protect the ancient woman's innards from dirt and dust. There were other smaller markings on her body, fresh markings sliced into her flesh by the white intruder wolf. There was nothing that could be done about that, and Kaena was quite happy she'd been able to serve her duty and turn that wolf away so quickly. She smiled to herself as she rubbed the wound over her shoulder, fingers tracing gingerly across that parted flesh.

She headed out of the cave, following the faint scent of fresh air. There was a slight offshoot, a second room the woman had not explored. She was too curious, and she she had some time to burn, so she wandered down that path before she decided to head out. It was a lucky find—there was a room similar to the first once, but more well-hidden (hence why she'd missed it heading in) and filled with goodies and other trinkets. There were a few rotting skeletons and a few ransacked trunks similar to the chest she'd found in the first room. This place looked like a true gypsy or pirate hideout; on one cave wall, there was a crest with two swords stuck into it, already beginning to rust with old age and the elements.

Despite this room's added furnishings and skeletal occupants, there was little in the way of actually useful things. Kaena realized she would find nothing to scavenge here, and so she turned around, heading away from the bones of the world past and back out toward the entrance. Her fur was only just slightly damp now, and as she headed closer to the entrance she could hear the drumming rain outside, the idea of getting all soaked again distasteful to the Lykoi matron as she wrinkled her nose, those sable ears folding back into her skull. As they swept backwards, she picked up a noise, just the faintest echoing murmur of an unfamiliar voice, distorted by the winding halls of the small cave system.

Alert now, the woman crouched to her feet, heading forward until a familiar scent wafted to her nose on a breath of the fresh air she'd been following to exit the cave. Jacquez. There was the faintest ghost of a grin across the woman's scarred features, that brilliant golden eye glittering as she continued forward, no longer afraid. Jacq had already proven himself to be a friendly face, and Kaena recalled his memory fondly. They'd met about a month ago, actually relatively close to Inferni's territory. Now, she was far from home, and the same could be said for the coppery dog, though Cour des Miracles was a far shorter trip than Inferni.

After a few short minutes of travel, she came across him in the shallows of the cave, looking royally annoyed that he was so wet. There was a mischievous grin across the woman's russet muzzle, and she called to Jacq softly, her voice carrying clearly enough without speaking too loudly. "Would you look at this, a soggy King," she said, grinning at him. Wet or not, he was still quite the attractive canine, and Kaena gave him a once-over openly, that golden eye roving his body and following the brilliant water beading off of his coppery coat. Here he was, a dangerous creature with the strength to gnaw through his own limbs. A survivor, just like her.

As he stood, listening grumpily to the steady drizzle outside the mouth of the grotto, a familiar voice called out to him. Confused, but not abjectly bothered, his chin lifted to peer deeper into the cavern. Kaena Lykoi was both the last person he'd expect to run into, and the only person he would expect to find in such an isolated place. She had a knack for finding special places, it seemed. Fate had not lied to him after all.

Her damp fur made the dead tissue of her scars a gleaming spiderweb across her skin, the many crescents on her cheeks and muzzle pink and tempting. He did not know what it was about scars that attracted him so, but he found himself irresistibly drawn to the allure of danger and promise of a good tale behind it. Her vivid yellow eye seemed to appraise him, once again appearing pleased with what she saw. The one-armed monarch let his lips slide into a wicked smile, fangs pale in the gloom of the cave. "And a moist queen to match him," he purred smoothly, semi-prick ears cocked at a rakish angle.

Forgetting about the dampness that dripped from his ponytail to trickle down his spine, the intrigued alpha stepped nearer to her, dark eyes lingering on the scrapes on her shoulder. They were recent. She had been in a fight? How lucky! The most recent injury he had sustained had been fracturing his own knuckles against the side of a wooden cabin. And those had healed by now. Without waiting for her implicit permission, the one-armed Optime let his fingers trail on the scabbing slashes that decorated Kaena's shoulder, running delicately over the raised flesh. "I like this," he rumbled beneath his breath. "Are you going for a new look?"

it should not have taken me nearly as long as it did to write this. sorry for the crappy post D:

The scarred woman was at once glad that she had come out here to the edge of nowhere. It was faintly drawing, this place. It was that same feeling that the city had, just far more muted. A strange power was evident here, wavering through the stilled air of the caverns as she had explored their shallow depths. She wondered if there were more caves, something like an underground network like Inferni had. Some of them were connected, but many were independent. Perhaps she had just stumbled across one of these disconnected caves, separate from the primary vein of caverns.

He offered her a smile, those white, sharp teeth glittering even in the dim light. He spoke, calling her a queen; the Lykoi woman was clearly pleased with the title. She hadn't actually ever been royalty. Though she had certainly demanded absolute loyalty, as an Aquila she had never considered herself anything of a monarch, though she'd ruled alone until Gabriel had come back. Still, she had established a dynasty, hadn't she? She had ruled Inferni and passed the torch to her child, the son inheriting the throne from the mother. It was less traditional, but still... she took a step closer to him and tossed her head high, that muzzle pointed upwards to the cavern roof, exposing the creamy pale throat . "Even though I've lost my crown?" she said, for once able to speak lightly on her past ventures into leadership.

The russet canine stepped closer to her, his eyes wandering over the wounds on her shoulder. Hers in turn were on that same scar he bore, the missing arm and the knot of scar tissue where it had once remained. She imagined him chewing through it, gnawing through hi s own flesh and pain to snap his bone, and she shivered as his fingers fell on her shoulder. He spoke, his voice lowered almost to a throaty growl. Her lip raised in a smile, displaying the sallow teeth beneath them. "Oh, you should have seen the other girl," the coyote said, a hint of haughtiness in her tone, that same pleased grin across her scarred muzzle.

OoC: You're not allowed to apologize for taking two days to reply! :< I'm far slower than you!

The paleness of her throat, a contrast to the dim smoky greys of her pelt, was strangely and magnetically attractive. He wanted to close his teeth about her, lightly, just to feel the irrepressible pulse against his tongue. She was just so very different from anyone he knew, this Kaena Lykoi, her experience and ruthlessness holding his attention far longer than any of the faceless females who had allowed him to play with them. This was the first time that he had actually considered someone to be his equal... To be royalty on his level.

"You still hold your chin high, high enough to support a crown," he remarked. It was an insightful comment - Kae might not be a leader herself, but her pride had not been damaged whatsoever. She still carried herself with the confidence and respect that an alpha demanded. Had she told him that she was the current ruler of the Inferni clan, Jacquez would not have questioned it. She held different values than he did, for she was proud of her many children and descendants, and he could not possibly care less if any salaud wanted recognition as his offspring. But that, of course, was because the matriarch was a whole being... and the king was just the twisted remnants of a once-noble creature. Values were of no importance.

He felt her slight shiver beneath the rough callous of his pawpads, and his dark eyes gleamed knowingly as his fingers strayed upwards. She had a pretty red star engraved into her flesh, a symbol he did not know the significance of but whose crimson colour was pleasing. He let his white-furred knuckles brush against the family crest, moving upwards to trace the hybrid's elegant neckline. She was smiling, not pushing him away or snarling or shying back. It was about time he found a real partner in crime. The women here, they either panicked at the last minute like Halo had, or flirted with no real substance, like Ayita. Even Svara, who was notorious for being loose, had let him down. Firefly too, she had left him behind without any sense of closure. It was so frustrating, considering all that he had to offer them... "I wish I had been there, ma reine... I would love to see what your body is capable of," he growled softly, folded ears pricked forward to catch the sound of her breathing. He had not known that one such as her existed.

♥ Nooo worries! I loveloveloved your post so much. I'm amazed you were able to write that with what I gave you to work with last post. xD -tries to make up for it here!-

The russet canine before her was unlike any Kaena had ever encountered before. She knew of her own dog ancestry, but she had never met another dog hybrid she knew of save her family, much less a whole-blooded dog. Even if he was not pure of any breed, there was no wolf or coyote at all in him, and it gave him a strange exoticness to the gray hybrid. Her brilliant golden eye roved over him, away from that knot of raw tissue over his arm to the rest of his coppery fur, unable to resist reaching out to run her fingers through its silkiness, snaking lightly across his collarbone even as she grinned wickedly at his comment, simply laughing softly in response. It was true, and the Inferni coyote knew it all too well. She had always been a proud creature, but that only seemed to impress this man further. Her coal ears could still detect the rain drumming outside, faintly echoing through the depths of the cave.

The hybrid woman was pleased at this turn of events, and she pushed the deep, dark guilt of Fatin from her head, remembering how the woman had clammed when Kaena had spoken of Inferni. There would be time for that later, the hybrid woman was too seized with her attraction to the dog before her and her long-sleeping desire to allow such insistent, pestering thoughts to ruin this moment. There would be plenty of time to mull over this later; surely they had never been completely faithful to one another, their coincident pregnancies had proved that clearly. She shoved the thoughts to the back of her mind and focused on the present, the lovely canine before her. The fur she'd touched on him was unlike anything she'd felt on a canine's pelt before, soft and silken and lacking that wiry, rough quality wolf or canine coats had always held. The tips of her off-white fangs showed clearly against her charcoal lip for a moment as she bit down gently, her sharp golden eye meeting his deep, dark chocolate eyes. They were the color of shadow in the dim light, their color devoured by the shade of the cavern.

The canine's fingers found her flesh again, and her gaze was drawn to watch as he touched the chaos star blazing red on her chest, her heart thundering quickly beneath it as her pulse quickened and her breath came faster. He was touching her throat now, a delicate, vulnerable part of her, but the hybrid woman merely tilted her head to the side and stepped closer to him now, their bodies just nearly touching, just the smallest space between them. She could feel the warmth radiating from him, and the hybrid woman could find nothing but intense desire within herself for the canine before her. He spoke unknown, foreign words to her, and she quivered slightly at their sound, outlandish and spiced as the coppery man before her. "Oh? I'm sure you will," she said, that twisted smile again apparent on her features. The gray canine reached out to touch him again, her fingers creeping along his side to press into his back, beckoning his body closer to hers.

Your posts are so much better than mine! You spoil me... C:

The hollow chamber of the cave amplified their voices, lending an eerie echo to Kaena's soft laugh, letting it reverberate through the dark grotto. Sheets of grey drizzle shrouded the entrance behind them, giving them a curtain to conceal their subterranean playground from the world. The coy-dog's exploring fingers traced his clavicle, a sensitive favorite of his, and he flashed her a wicked smile, his waving tail flicking at a restless pace. He liked this game, it was his favorite of games, but he had always been impatient when it came to the warm up.

He caught her biting her lip, his coal-dark eyes smoldering intensely as her gold-fire iris gazed boldly back, shameless, riveted. It pleased him to know that their first encounter had not been a meaningless one - neither of them could have forgotten each other, and it had led them to this, an undeniable, carnal desire... Her breath came faster and so did his, his quickening pulse rushing to let the man rise to the occasion.

Her fingers crawled along his straight spine, pulling him eagerly to close the slight distance between them. As his hard-muscled waist brushed against her hips, he craned his neck, leaning over to inhale her unique aroma. "Have you ever fucked a man with one arm?" he growled in her tattered black ear, a sudden tightness in his abdomen as excitement burned through his pulsing veins. It had been too long, and oh, she tempted him so. He had been teased by others, and let down by their unwillingness to please him - the king did not subject himself to the vulgarity of rape. His consorts had to be willing, for how else could he get them to do all of the dirty things he enjoyed so much? And here was a regal woman with all the experience in the world, probably more than he himself knew. They could do great things together. One armed and one eyed, they were perfect.

<333 LOL, I have the feeling this thread is going to be fun. XD

Kaena had always been given to promiscuity; she had never allowed morality or anything else stand between her and pleasure. Sex was a pursuit, and it was one she undertook as heartily as she did creating her legacy. The silvery female could remember her last encounter some months ago, stretching many months ago into the past, those sordid, short months with Rangi. The coyote did not miss him; they had never possessed an emotional connection, just a wonderful friendship with benefits, something akin to what was unfolding here in this cave. She wondered if she would ever see him again, and decided it was highly unlikely. Rangi was quite happy in his canine city, living off of his land and smoking the tobacco he grew himself.

The hybrid woman could not suppress the tremble that crept into her legs when the copper canine pressed closer to her; she could feel his desire, hot and insistent, against her body and she wanted him, right now. She was content to wait, however, and allow the king what he desired—whether it was a long, slow affair or the rough, almost-violent event she had conjured in her head since their first meeting. It was true; Jacquez had not been at the forefront of the woman's thoughts over the last several weeks, but he had been there, a russet ghost in her thoughts, awakening the slumbering desire in the pit of her belly, that same lust that now burned fiercely for the red man before her.

He spoke a low, rumbling sentence into her ear, and there was only a smile from the grizzled canine for a moment, and then her teeth grazed the man's shoulder gently, lightly nibbling along his warm flesh until she came to his jawline. The same fangs that had rendered hot life into bloody, cold death lit onto the dog's neck with an uncanny gentleness, even as her hand snaked between their bodies to stroke him. Eager as she was, the monochrome canine could not help but touch him, alive with desire that radiated fervently from her as clearly as if it were drenched in neon. "No, but I would very much like to give it a try," she responded, drawing those sallow canines back from his neck, her pink tongue sweeping her lips to draw the taste of royalty into her mouth.

It already is. <3 Sorry I am ever-so-slow!

Giving in to impulse and passion had always been at the core of the monarch's skewed philosophy. He had not been born into this world, excreted from a female's loins in an amniotic sludge, like all of the earth's other less-worthy inhabitants. He had been placed here. He had been created, an adult in his prime, his mind a clean slate and his charms many, bathed in the light of the sun from whence he came. It had never occurred to him to search for the past that had been erased from his memory. Clearly there had been nothing of importance before Jacquez Trouillefou came into existence. With an unwavering confidence and delusions of grandeur, seduction had come naturally to him. Parallel to Kaena's own beliefs, morality was never an issue when pleasure was involved...

He felt her lean legs tremble against his touch, and the involuntary reaction inflamed his desire, his need for her. In his narcissistic, egotistical, classic Jacquez ways, he knew that his very being was so magnetically irresistible that this dangerous woman was rendered helpless and malleable beneath him. Even dripping wet, in a dank cave, trapped by the sheets of rain - he was still more handsome and charismatic than any other man alive, and he could seduce anyone! Bridling with selfish pleasure, he exhaled his hot breath against her tattered ear, an undercurrent of a moan escaping as her experienced fangs teased along his jawline, slipping to squeeze against the throbbing pulse of his throat. He brushed his hips against hers, pushing her to graze against the cold stone of the cave wall, even as her hand explored his hard-muscled body. The dominance game was well-played, delicate in its balance. Neither canine chose a role of submission, but both expertly danced to the same tango.

Kaena's smoky voice purred, so close to him that he could feel the tendrils of her breath escaping against his wet nose. His fingers flexed, cupping the attractive curve of her pelvis, crawling upwards through her monochromatic fur to the arch of her ribcage, to the soft flesh atop it. His hand brushed the supple roundness of her breast, grasping it for a moment, letting his hand dance away to the small of her back, slipping lower to rub her thigh. He wanted to feel her all over, eager in his own exploration, inhaling her scent as he fondled the Lykoi matriarch, reading her raised scars with the pads of his fingers like a blind man. "I assure you, it is worth it. I would be happy to show you what I mean," he crooned playfully, his rising need adding an urgent tightness to his tone. Dark eyes boring into her single gold-fire orb, the madman's tongue snaked out, licking the crescent scar on her cheekbone. He was fascinated by the signatures of fangs and claws and blades that decorated her body, and undeniably turned on by her unorthodox appearance. She was an exotic beauty drenched in sin, and he must have her.

Now it's my fault for being slow. XD <3

There was cool at her back, the rough surface of the cave wall against her back. The humidity had left a thin sheen of condensation on the rock, though it was absorbed by the matron's silvery fur instantaneously and thus went unnoticed. Even if it had been covered in gooey slime it was unlikely the hybrid woman would have noticed anyway, what with Jacq's hands expertly touching her, roving and gently stroking her scarred flesh. She inhaled sharply as his fingers traced her ribs and exhaled in a soft, pleased growl as his hand found her breast. The woman's off-white teeth left his neck for a moment, her own head tilting back for a moment as he touched her.

That single fire-gold eye had half-lidded, her flesh electric and alive where he touched her old wounds, places others had been drawn to but never dared to trace as openly as he did, his fingers smoothing over the broken flesh firmly. There were no thoughts of this being done to memorize her, no deep, loving attachment here. This was blind attraction, simple and animalistic and pure. The silver canine's words escaped in a throaty rumble, sodden with the lust that had overtaken both creatures. "Please do, my king." Though the Inferni coyote held no allegiance to this man, he would surely be her king for the next hour or so.

The Lykoi woman shifted so the wall bore most of her weight, one of her legs planted firmly to the side while the other lifted and bent at the knee to rub along his leg. Her hands found his hips, her thumbs admirning their sharp, strong lines for a moment as her fingers drew along his sides to his back. Her palms pressed against him gently for a moment, beckoning him ever-closer to her. There was a visible tremble from the coyote as his tongue found her cheek and the split flesh there, her coal lips finding the sensitive, softest ridge of his lower ear for a moment.

Thanks to Akumu for the table!

And yet, I am even slower. ;;__;; Hover for translations, if you dare.

"Viens ici que je te saute, petite coquine, nous faisons des galipettes..." The crude French snarled out of nowhere, and he was too far wrapped up in the moment to even realize that the Inferni woman wouldn't understand his dirty talk. His black eyes were smoldering intensely, matched only by the light in her goldenfire gaze. They were two of a kind, volatile chemicals that needed a reaction.

Her throaty cantillation was rich with such desire, it was barely recognizable as her voice. Had he expected such passion from her, when he first met her near the coast? When that single brilliant eye of hers stared so boldly, where others only shyly glanced? Kaena quietly growled with pleasure as his fingers teased and explored her, and he growled in return as the coyote woman caught his folded ear between her lips, putting pressure on the sensitive ridge. His tail whipped against the cave wall, the thumping echoing into the gloomy depths as she built his need precariously higher.

"...As you wish, ma reine." Her lean leg rose seductively to rub against his own, and then he could hold back no longer. With a satisfied grunt, he let nature take its course, his hips grinding against hers as he found his mark and sank into her fold. Heat washed over him, teeth bared in a ferocious smile as he thrust into her, swift and merciless. He caught her bent leg with his hand, fingers entwining around her ankle before raising it higher, resting her footpaw atop his shoulder. It gave him a better angle for his hard strokes, a deeper way to penetrate to her core.

And that was what he wanted, the one vaguely coherent thought swimming in the sea of lust and gratification that was drowning his mind - he wanted her, to have her, to own her, for this one day, for as long as they were together in solitude, she was his. His breath came quick and ragged, but he could keep this wild pace forever. It was the one act that made him truly come alive.

The coyote woman could not understand a lick of what he was saying to her—still, she didn't need to. There was no mistaking the desire laden into his voice, and she need only to gaze into his dark eyes to recognize the intent in them. There was a coy smirk across her muzzle as she drew her head back from his ear, twisting the scars across the russet splash into cruel hooks, just the tips of her sallow teeth showing brightly against the coal of her lips. Her fingers curled into his fur and she again marveled at the texture, soft and silky and unlike any other coat her fingers had touched or her claws had rendered into ribbons.

Her fingers crept up his sides, the edge of her knuckles grazing against his arm on one side. That hand snaked over his chest, but the other explored his scar with the lightest touch, marveling at the raw, knotty flesh where there should have been an extension of his lovely body. He was as damaged as she was, and still lovely in it. He spoke again, that same lusty voice, but in words she could recognize this time. Her heart flared and her back arched to meet him, first her hips and then her whole body trembling as he slid inside of her. She had not realized she had been holding her own breath until she exhaled it in a sighing moan in that moment. He twisted her body to his liking and it was the last moment of peace for the hybrid woman.

He was as lovely as he'd promised, tearing into her at a vicious pace which only served to light the silvery hybrid alive, fire burning through her entire body as he tore into her. It was as though her soul was shaking inside of her, and she could not supress the cry that echoed up from it, though even as it left her throat another wild thrust from the coppery furred man choked it there, strangling it midway through. This was no pup, no inexperienced youth to bend and twist to her will—this was royalty, and in that instant the hybrid would have knelt and kissed the ground at his feet at his command, if he were not wrapped inside of her, her limbs tangled somewhere skyward as he pummeled her. Her hands gripped his back, sliding downward from his shoulders to seek a loose hold at his hips, her palms pressuring him ever-forward with each thrust.

ooc: Since this has fallen behind, I thought I would wind it down (and get to focus more on our card game). Thank you for letting me have such a fun thread, and for putting up with my writer's block!

She smelled like smoke, and rain, and sex, the intermingling aromas searing into his mind as he inhaled her. Her fearless fingers touched the empty socket where his arm should have been, and he rumbled a chuckle deep in his chest, amused by her shameless curiosity. Was he not the same, magnetically fascinated by her patchwork of former wounds? In the span of her lifetime, she had been a leader longer, claimed more lives, and taken more lovers than Jac could attest to, and that sort of track record was an impressive feat indeed.

She had come out of nowhere and taken him by storm. If he could have made her the queen of his kingdom, he would have; but somehow he knew that they were both too proud to share the reins of royalty together. These clandestine encounters were satisfactory enough.

Taut muscles burned in his abdomen as he struck again and again, a wild snarl tearing from his lips to drown out Kaena's strangled cry. They were a tangled mess of limbs, her hands catching his thrusting hips, his hand digging into her rough mane to jerk her face skyward, letting his teeth harmlessly graze her exposed throat. It was the roughness, the ferocity of their pairing that he would remember best, even when the exact details were quickly lost in the heat of the moment. The drumming rain fell quiet by the time they were both satisfied, leaving a misty haze shimmering elusively in the cave's exit.

His chest was still heaving, blood pounding at that dizzying pace of arousal, even as he released her to catch his breath. In the dim light of their cave, it was impossible to tell how long they had been together, how much time they had devoted to the sweet agony of coitus. Jacquez panted heavily as he sagged against the damp stone wall. It wasn't often that a woman could keep up with him so well, enough to even wear him out. How extraordinary. If he had ever considered taking up monogamy, she would be the only one worth his time, that was for sure. His pawpads were moist with perspiration, and he impatiently wiped them on his thigh, trying to steady his thundering heartbeat. He might have been somewhat out of practice, but he could still rise to the occasion...

No problem! Big Grin Kinda powerplayed the end, please PM if not OK? Big Grin

The hybrid woman arced into his body, loving his touch and the feeling of his hot body against hers; it seemed both of their blood was fiery as they pressed into each other, each seeking to consume the other in the throes of their love-making. Kaena's fingers clenched at his back after a moment, careful to keep the sharp claws of her Optime hands retracted. She did not seek to draw his blood from him, even as his teeth found her neck and drew her to greater heights of ecstasy, her control wildly spinning out of control. Already she could feel herself tensing around him, her muscles knotting as their bodies entwined.

In another world, maybe they could have been together—but Kaena was too experienced to mistake this for anything other than what it was, a brief interlude to the rest of the world, a paused, frozen moment in time in their damp cave together that they would share and remember for perhaps the rest of their lives, the ferocity with which Jacquez had taken her here. Kaena would not soon forget it, and even as they disentangled themselves she grinned over at him, her yellowed eye regarding him brightly, her own pink tongue lolling from her mouth as she joined him in his shortness of breath.

Sliding down to the floor, the hybrid took in one deep breath and held it for a moment, breathing outward again with a soft whoosh. "Wow," was all she said, shaking her head and still marveling at the silky dog who'd ensnared her. His body really was lovely; it was no wonder he'd been able to take her with such strength and speed. Smirking, the hybrid knew she'd enjoyed the encounter more—it was simply the way the world worked, the poor luck of the man to enjoy sex less. Still, it was the pinnacle of their existence as well, though their physical reaction tended to be less powerful than that of a woman.

The silvery hybrid's breath had returned to normal, though she found she did not wish to speak. Their quiet was hardly uncomfortable; it was simply the tired afterglow of sex, that lazy and overflowing feeling of satisfaction that made eyelids and body parts heavy. She grinned again at Jacquez, that twisted thing on her scarred features spreading quite widely. The hybrid woman was entertaining thoughts of taking him home or following him to his for a time, but she realized he was a packmaster, after all. No matter his title, there were wolves there, and Inferni would... not welcome him? She wondered what the rest of her coyotes thought of dogs, and it was almost enough of a thinker to steal that sated feeling away from her.

She shoved the thoughts away. They didn't matter—she loved his sex and she loved his body, but she did not love him and it was unnecessary to even contemplate such things. Perhaps it was just womanly nature to consider such things, as Kaena always seemed to after a particularly good encounter. Maybe they really were just babymakers, seeking the best provider and provider of genes for their children. Still, that rang wrong in her head, and reminded her of Haku spitting woman as if it was a nasty word to say. Certainly, they were capable of much else, as she herself proved with all her scars.

There were a few traded compliments of sexual prowess and leery comments about their next meeting when the hybrid woman decided it was time to go. She had her fun, and growing too close to Jacquez was decidedly not a good thing. She did not need to get tangled up in an intra-pack triangle of cheating if Fatin ever returned again. She announced her exit, though she did say she would see him again, and strode from the cave, still traveling in her Optime form. He had tired her out enough to make shifting too much of a task, and the hybrid woman wished to make it back to Inferni (or at least the city) to sleep. There was something that seemed taboo in actually sleeping next to Jacq after sleeping with him, as if that was the act that would draw them too close.
