Sunshine could wander often and for days, but she did not necessarily enjoy it. Her mind would wander farther than her feet could carry her and she would lose track of time. She tried to live in the moment, but she sometimes was so caught up in her curiosities that she would lose track of the time, and those moments just slipped away from her. This was why she was trying to "stay in the moment" right now.

It had been raining for as long as she could remember being in this land. Her travels had taken her far, but she was tired of wandering now. She wanted to find a place to settle and set down roots. The golden-hued girl did not want to be a stray forever. She wanted to belong somewhere, and to call someplace home. She did not know her way around, and found it hard to keep directions straight in her head, but she was resolved to learn what this place was called.

The skinny girl, on two legs, walked with passion evident in each footstep. She fisted her hands as she hoped and she prayed that she had found somewhere suitable, somewhere she could be useful, somewhere to belong. She craved it like she craved oxygen in her lungs. The stray hoped that her senses weren't betraying her, because now she could sense that others were nearby.

Heath walked, slow and with a light step. The roan mare followed, her dark face drifting in and out of the trees that they walked through. She kept at a distance, but the pair moved together as if they had the same destination in mind. They did. It was home that they wandered idly towards. The coy-wolf took step after step and he was truly beginning to understand how far he had ridden. It was their first ride, and the male could not describe the feeling. If his imagination had been unruly, he would have said it was like flying. A black furred hand ran through the tattered mane he bore, and gold eyes looked to the ground as he let thoughts filter in and out of his mind. None were of importance, as he kept his thoughts from those that held any weight. He focused on the stables, the horses that seemed to just wander into the stalls. They made him smile, a gave him more work and purpose.

It was a scent, foreign and feminine that changed his direction. The mare looked as he walk away in curiosity. Lumière followed, feeling that same as he did. The lanky male followed it, and found that he did not need to walk far. She filled his gaze, golden locks covered the shape that reminded him of his doggish packmates. Her scent did not hold that of other packs, though Heath was unsure if they accepted the hybrids that he found here. Curious, the male walked towards her, his stature neutral and non-threatening, though he did not wear a smile. His low voice called to her, “Hello.” It was friendly, or so he hoped. If she looked for a pack, the thought didn’t cross his mind. It had been sometime since he had been placed in the ranks of a group, and the procedures had gathered dust in his mind. Instead he watched her with soft eyes, wondering what brought her here.
