At the bottom of the big blue sea...

Following the trio was like watching an epic adventure unfolding right before her. It was like the stories in one of the many books she had read. Brother and sisters matching off to find some sort of buried treasure. Her long legs made the trek through the sands easy, loping along with the trio Mati just enjoyed the scenery and the beach. It wasn’t until Amata spoke that she closed the gap that she had created and trotted up to the young wolves. Violet eyes looked at the shell she had found. It looked as if it could be a oyster shell.
“Wow, nice find Amata.” She commented as she looked at the shell. The beach was littered with all the sea pieces, and if they looked hard enough they could find many different treasures.

“Sure.” She spoke to answer Cambria. Eyes looked at the wood that had drifted from the ocean. She walked up to the sticks, and then looked back at the charcoal male,
“What do you think we could find under here Gotham?” Mati knew he would be happy to felt her moved the wood to see if they could find something pretty for his sisters. She began to move them with her large paws.

The shell was heavier than she thought as she held it up in the air for the others to see. It was only a matter of seconds before she began to feel tired of holding it, but she struggled on through so that she could show them. As soon as Got'am spoke, Amata couldn’t hold it any longer, and she dropped it into the sand. The light, lavender-hued shell fell, landing with a soft thud in the safety of the sand. The little gasp that followed her mouth’s release of the treasure was soon followed by the relieved sigh. The shell had not been broken. She wagged her tail before looking back to both Got’am and Cambi. "You’s really thinks sos?" the girl asked excitedly. Smiling brightly, the blue and green orbs of the pale pup turned back down to the pretty treasure that she had found. Her tail wagged happily at Mat-tea’s confirmation. "Dadda cans dos everythings!" Dadda was just the best. "Buts," the little girl continued, her dually coloured eyes lifting to find the three wolves, "maybes I should waits untils I’s biggers." She admitted finally that she was very small. "The shells iss very heavies!" she exclaimed, offering an explanation.

As Mat-tea turned their attention back to the strange pile of wood that would surely hold many treasures, the little girl nearly forgot about her treasure that had just been found. "Yeahs, Got’am! Tells uss!" she exclaimed. But as she moved to bound over to the giant pile, her paw brushed against something. She looked down and smiled as she found her shell. How silly it was that she had almost forgotten it! Amata picked up the shell. Quietly, with the heavy thing in her mouth, the girl walked over to the older wolf and nudged her with her little, black nose. Gently, she set the shell back upon the sand. "Cans yous holds this for mes, Mat-tea?" the Sadira pup asked, her eyes turning to find the other’s purple gaze. "Please?" She really wanted to take it home, but the lavender shell was just too heavy to carry around all day!

The shell looked a lot bigger when Amata was holding it than when it was still in the sand with its edges covered. Gotham stared at it as the girl held it up, grinning. Yes, Dadda could put it on nice string and Amata could wear it around her neck just like Mamma! The boy watched the shell fall to the ground as it escaped the little girl's grasp, feeling a little concerned about it for just a moment. He was quite pleased to see that no harm came to it as it hit the nice soft sand. Gotham found himself agreeing with his sister as she suggested she should wait a while, until she was bigger, to wear it around her neck. If she had a big heavy thing around her neck she wouldn't be able to play as well! That, naturally, was the raven boy's number one concern.

He had, just for a moment, forgotten about the big pile of driftwood he had been careening towards just a minute before. Eyebrows leaping upwards, he turned and hopped off towards the wood, eyeing Mati as he pranced past her. "I dunno," he said in response to her question, "Maybe there's treasures!" His voice grew high pitched with excitement, and as he got close to the salt saturated wood he stuck his nose into a little nook created by the pile. It smelled kind of funny! And there was weird slimy green stuff! Giggling, he wagged his tail and stuck his head in another nook. Finding nothing of interest in there, he hopped onto the top of the pile and exclaimed as if to the entire beach, "I em tha Cool Prince!" He had, ever since Amata had mentioned it, become rather fond of his new title.

With a little self conscious giggle he hopped off the stack of driftwood and proceeded to stick his nose in other little holes, hoping to find just a bit of treasure in his entire kingdom. [html]

Cambria had not once thought about shells being heavy. The one that adorned their mother's neck seemed to sit there with such light grace, how could it possibly be heavy at all? But when the new shell slipped from her sister's mouth the chocolate girl gasped along with her sister. Oh noes! But the shell hit the sand and was no worse for it. The smile came back to her face, relieved that her sister's treasure hadn't been hurt. That would have been awful! Amata surely would have been sad about it. It was all good though, the soft sand had caught the shell and not made it break. Ah yes, it probably would be good for Amata to wait until she was older to have dadda make her a necklace out of the shell. If it were heavy to hold up it wouldn't be any fun dragging it around her neck. The girl tried to picture her sister all grown up with the lavender shell around her neck. No matter what, she knew that it would be pretty, because Amata was pretty. "That's good ideas, yes."

Soon the attention was quickly moving back to the pile of wood. Mati was over there and Gotham was running to the pile now. With a happy laugh she moved to run after them too, unintentionally leaving Amata to carry her shell over to the driftwood. As she got closer and saw Mati moving the wood around and her brother poking his head inside the pile she called out. "Whas in there Gothawm's? Huh? Wha issit?" Surely there had to be something exciting hiding in there. The pup came to a halt as her brother jumped up onto the pile and called something out. "Tha Cool Prince? Whas dat?" When did Gotham get a cool new name? She wanted a cool new name! Did Amata have one too? When had she missed this? Her gaze looked from her brother to sister, her head cocked to the side.

It was easy to picture a pup falling over due to the weight of the shell around her neck. It would be alright to drag it along the soft sands of the beach, but it would be best if she waited until she was stronger and not so close to the ground to wear a necklace. It was wrong to laugh at the pups, and Mati only grinned as she nodded to Amata and spoke a quick, “Sure thing Mata.” The four legged female quietly became the two legged woman that would be ideal for the carrying of shells and treasures. The change was swift and easy in her relaxed form and in a mere moment she stood above the small world that belonged to the pups. Sitting on the sand she took the shell in her hand to examine it.

It was her nose that made Mati look at the pile of drift wood once more. On her paws the tall female took the few paces towards it and then stopped, she could hear the noise, smell the scent. Gotham was so close, but his excitement and new title distracted the pup. Eyes narrowed, and as the pups spoke and chattered she placed her hand among the drift wood, lifting one of the pieces and then found it. A living treasure that Mati brought into the open air of the shore. Large hand easily grasped the side of its shell, reddish blue body as hard as stone. “Is it this Cool Prince?” She asked with a smile, small pinchers waving in the air.

"Thank yous, Mat-tea!" Smiling happily, the creamy pup ran off toward her siblings, coming in on Cambi’s question. "A Cool Prince iss a prince that iss cool, Cambi," Amata laughed as if it were the most obvious thing. "And I’s a cool Princess! Yous a...." she trailed off for a second, tilting her head to the side. "Yous a Pretty Princess!" the creamy pup exclaimed happily. Yes, Cambi was a Pretty Princess. And she was a Cool Princess (and a Fish Princess too). And Got’am was a Cool Prince.

"Wows!" Amata exclaimed, her mouth making a small ‘O’ in amazement as she gaped up at the strange thing. The blue and green eyes stared at it, confused as to what it was. It looked like a spider, but it was definitely bigger than the spiders in the grass and trees. Some spiders were red, she decided, but this was very differently red. "Iss not a spiders...." she concluded aloud, and yet she wasn’t sure if her conclusion was even correct. The creamy pup’s head cocked to the side, her nose scrunching up as she tried to figure it out. But her serious expression was short lived when she began to giggle. It was very funny to watch as it wiggled around. She could see then too that there were pincers on them. But the pup, who didn’t know that those pincers could be mean and dangerous, thought that they were cool and pretty. After a long moment of continuous staring, the creamy girl decided that she couldn’t figure out what it was, so she turned to look up at Mat-tea. "What iss that Mat-tea? I’s never seens it afores!" Amata was very excited to know what it was, and she wondered, "Iss this the treasures that Cool Prince Got’am iss talking ‘bouts?" as she turned to her brother.

Sorry for the wait guys b:

The truth was that Gotham didn't really know how to explain what a Cool Prince was. It seemed kind of self-explanatory, and he had taken the phrase at face value. Anyway, he knew it was a good thing, because Mata was a Cool Princess and she was very nice and good. Also, she came to his rescue and explained to Cambria what a Cool Prince was. So it wasn't always the Prince saving the Princess! Even though Gotham was big and brave and strong he wasn't able to do everything. He grinned and nodded at Cambria's new title after listening carefully to Amata's explanation, just in case he had to tell someone else what a Cool Prince was.

His attention was quickly pulled back to Mati, and when he spotted what she had pulled out of his pile of driftwood he gasped, his eyes widening suddenly. "Whooooooa!" he exclaimed as he stared, before hopping off the pile and bouncing towards the female. As he got close he leaned onto his hind legs and lifted himself up, trying to get his nose as close to the strange thing as he could. It smelled funny! He looked up to Mati quizically and piped, "What's it!?"

Ithen made this! ♥

Her head shot to Amata as she explained what a Cool Prince was. A prince that is cool? Well that made sense and now she felt a little silly for not being able to figure it out on her own. Then it was said that her sister had a new name too! She was a Cool Princess. When had they gone around getting new names and she didn't have one? The Marino pup was beginning to feel left out when her sister gave her one of these neat new names. Her tail wagged and she smiled. "Weallies?!" She was a Pretty Princess? A wave of bashfulness came over her and she felt her cheeks get warm. Shyly she looked at the sand and moved it around with one of her front paws. Was she really pretty? Like Momma was pretty? That would be so great if she was! She didn't know if she was, but it certainly was a nice thought.

But soon everything was distracted to something else again as Mati pulled something out of the pile of wood. Her sister and brother exclaimed and Cambi looked up and her jaw dropped. What was that thing?! It was so weird! It had lots of little wiggly legs and big strange things for hands or something. It was a funny color too. The girl walked over close to Mati to try and get a better look at the thing, whatever it was. She was glad to hear that neither Amata or Gotham knew what it was either. "Yah, whaissit? Is so straaaaange!" A short giggle left her as she watched its wiggling legs. It looked silly!

Mati held the crab securely in her hand. If the paw had been any smaller she wouldn’t have been able to hold the creature. Its arms and claws waved to the littler wolves as it protested being raised above the water and sand that was it’s home. She smiled at the faces that were in awe by the unknown creature. The wolfess lowered ito back towars the ground, but did not allow it to walk away. “Well” She began, watching with violet eyes for their reactions. “It’s a crab. It lives under rocks in the ocean.” That was just about the extent of her knowledge of the creatures. The young woman had read about them only briefly and just once.

Then she let the thing go, and it scrambled in any direction looking to retreat back to its home and yet confused and misguided. The Cool Princess, Prince, and of course the Pretty Princess would have to watch where their toes sat in the sand in case the crab got to close. Though Mati watched it carefully, waiting to pluck it from the sand incase it got too close.
