Sounds good to me Smile 300+

If he had never learned what his father had done his life would probably be very different from what it was now. Not even probably, almost certainly it would be. If he hadn't found out those dark facts then he never would have hidden himself in the city and drowned himself in alcohol. He probably wouldn't have been there to help Ruri and meet her, and through her, Jacquez. Most likely he never would have decided, at least so soon, to leave Crimson Dreams and so he would not have been a part of Cour des Miracles. Without officially being a knight he might have never gone to find a sword and a horse. If he had still been in Crimson Dreams the changes were that his first meeting with Princess would have gone much, much different. It was strange to think how those little pieces of information had drastically changed the course of his life.

"I trust him to take care of the pack and lead it as well as he can, yes. That's what is really important in a leader, at least I think. For all of his...questionable habits, I know that Jac wants to make sure that we all live a good life and are happy." There were those habits of their King's that Haven couldn't help but cringe at, but ultimately they were all just personal habits and didn't really effect anyone outside of Jacquez and whoever he was fooling around with at the time. As long as thing didn't spill over to effect the pack then there really wasn't any valid complaint that could be made about the King's behavior. If his dalliances ended up hurting some of their female members though, then the Knight would have more to say on the matter. It was his job to protect the members of the pack and he hoped that that would never have to include protecting them from their own leader. He hoped that Jac was enough of a politician to realize that such moves would be unwise.

500+ words.

#####Past actions had completely dictated where he stood today. Before his realization that his sister needed to sacrifice herself, he had been completely content to continue his life's work, and had thoroughly believe everything that he had been taught. There had been no need for Vigilante to question what he was doing or consider leaving his pack and job, because he had felt it was necessary. There was evil in the world, harnessed within others, and someone needed to do something about it. No longer did he feel like this was completely true, but he did have his doubts. If he did not do something about the evil in others, he most certainly could not expect someone else to. It was unfortunate, for he truly did believe that it was sometimes necessary. For the moment, however, he had no interest in returning, and did not think he would any time soon, if ever.

#####Vigilante was glad to know that Haven trusted their king to lead the pack, although he was not fond of the idea of Jacquez's questionable habits. It was almost like an internal battle for him. he did not know what these questionable habits were, but such a term could not be used for anything good. It simply depended on the level of severity to decide his stand on them, and since he knew nothing of them, Vigilante could not say anything of these habits. They were a bit worrisome, though, and he hoped they were not as bad some he had worked against in the past. He would have said it impossible because Jacquez had followers in a pack, but he knew that meant nothing. For one, he had killed leaders before; the fact that they had followers meant nothing. And also, it was easy to hide things. After all, he knew very little of these questionable habits, so they could have been anything, or everything.

#####Still, he was glad to know that the Knight did trust their King to lead the pack. That was enough to put him at ease, because that was the important thing now, especially with Ayita having puppies. Her safety and their safety was very important to him, so he found it very assuring that the King could be trusted to lead the pack. "I suppose that it is the most important thing," he mused, knowing it to be true. He simply had to dismiss any ideas he had about the King's questionable activities. There was nothing he could do, and as far as he was aware, there was nothing too terrible that had happened that could require anything from him. He merely needed to trust the King fully to lead the pack safely and happily. That was all that mattered, even if it went against all of his life's training. He was very grateful to Haven for sharing this information, as it served to assure him that he had not chosen the wrong place to relocate himself. He was glad for that.
