Look at all the stars and see the fae in between

*sigh* finally able to get online...

The stars shimmered, and Anya raised her head, inhaling deeply. The crisp air of autumn seared in her nostrils. Autumn was definitely here. In a way, Anya was sad. Summer had its share of happy incidents that she did not want to fade into the past, but Anya also realized that it was the natural cycle of things, for things and memories to fade into the past. Her father was one of those memories, though her brother still rested peacefully at the front of her mind every morning.

Morning in the autumn had been Malaki's favorite time. He would dash and play, running in circles chasing his tail like a goofball. At the memory, Anya's lips curled into a slight smile. Goodness, she missed him, but she wouldn't trade the life she had now for the one she had had before, constantly running from the pack's traditions and customs.

Anya sighed. This life, here in Phoenix Valley, was definitely better than the one she had led before. She had so many friends here; Ty, Rendall, Xeris, and Da Vinci, though Da Vinci was long gone.

lol welcome back! ^.^

The young wolf, traveling quietly along her path, stopped to examine the beautiful fall colors. Each leaf more brilliant in color than the last. Reds and yellows carpeted the floor and dangled on the tall trees around her. Cold air filled her nostrils and crystalized her lungs. It all felt so wonderful.

Small specks of sun shining brightly in between the clouds littered the land. Off in the distance, the sunsets bright color bathed the scene before her, giving everything a slight pink tint. Curiosity flooded the childs mind and she examined her fur laughing fully at her now purple glow, landing on some leaves with elation. A familiar scent caught the girls nose, she perked her ears to the comforting scent of Anya.

She scrambled to her feet, and moved swiftly through the woods, in search of her friend. She found the stormy grey female at the edge of a field, a familiar spot to Rendall. She approached the female and called out to her. "Anya....good evening to you, how are you this fine autumns day?" her azule eyes found connection with the females steel blue isrises. She sat happily beside her she-wolf friend and wagged her tail happily at her company.

"Pretty good, Rendall. How are you, young one?" At the sight of her friend, Anya grinned lopsidedly. She remembered when she had first come to Phoenix Valley, Rendall had been such a small pup. But for being so small then, the pup had grown up so fast it was unimaginable. But Anya was willing to bet that Rendall was just as playful as she had been before her leg had been broken.

Anya looked the young wolf up and down, eying the slight scars that lined her front leg. Sorrow raced through her at the sight of the scars, but that was in the past, like so many other things. Anya lost herself in her thoughts again, thinking about how much fun she and Rendall could have now that Rendall was older and able to hold her own. Playful romps and runs ran through her mind, like two wolves.
