these aging fingers never forget

Lisichka had shifted today, his fur short and his muscles nearly exposed. Colibri had liked it, no, loved it, but he had felt strange this way. Somehow, without the protection of his fluffy coat he felt naked. How had the humans survived? He twitched his tail slowly ini time with the melody produced by the violin carefully tucked beneath his chin. he had to be careful, or else his nail's might slice through a string and then he'd be SOL until he found another set somewhere. This particular piece had been in Mercido's old house, now abandoned for years. How odd it was, that he had felt no qualms taking his dead brother's daughter.

The music stopped suddenly as he spotted the massive figure of the Die Bohrung - it was powerful and dangerous, and for some odd reason the male wanted to investigate. A feeling of darkness crossed over his figure, and he wondered what had happened here, what was keeping this place with such a feeling. Dare he enter? For a moment, the white figure stopped and just meekly stared ahead.

Hola, mind if I throw Icarus in here? Big Grin
[html]

indent Icarus was plagued by the sickness his father had fallen into two days ago after plummeting into the river. Now, the pup felt a sudden lose that could soon become permanent if his father didn’t pull through. Even though he was still very young – only five months – the pup knew about death. He knew that it was a very real possibility that his sister and perhaps even his mother had faced it. Now, he could only hope that the hands of death would decide to leave his father be.

indent The pup had been given permission to wander any of the neutral grounds with the addition of Clouded Tears. Even though his father was in no state to keep tabs on the pup, he obeyed the rules set out for him. He didn’t need to bring about any more trouble now that his father was in no position to fix things. Instead, the pup had gone for a walk. A rather long walk, after visiting the bed side of his father. He loved to be by his father’s side – to feel the minimal warmth he put out – but he could only stay for so long. If he lingered about the den for too long, he began to feel depressed and wouldn’t want to move for hours on end. That was no way for a puppy to spend his time.

indent Die Bohrung loomed in the distance, as ominous as the possibility of death home at Storm. Icarus paused, taking in the menacing appearance of the foreboding building, before advancing towards it. Perhaps he wouldn’t go inside, but he still wanted to have a little bit of a closer look.

indent There was an abrupt end to the music that had been playing, and for a moment Icarus had to stop and consider. He had merely imagined the music in his mind, and not as something that really was being played by another wolf. However, when the pup looked ahead, he saw a ghostly white figure paused along the bridge outside of the prison. "Pilot?" Icarus ran towards the wolf he thought to be the Gamma of Storm, but soon was disappointed when he came up on Lisichka. Interestingly enough, both wolves were stark white in color. And both wolves played the violin.
