We wave this flag of hatred;
But you're the ones who made it.

How long had it been since she'd first laid eyes upon this region, more-so the shatterd coast of the Miracles pack? Well, it had been over a week, she knew that much. She'd never been one to lose track of time, but she'd been so involved in the exploration of the coast line of her new 'home', she found the nights and days seemed to blend together. Already she'd decided that this place was far more beautiful than anywhere she'd seen through her two years of living the rouge life. Well, not this place.

The woman paused a moment here, having reached one of the few areas of city that hadn't been entirely reclaimed by nature yet. She found it intriguing, to see the innocent green so deeply uprooting the human construction that had held strong for so many years. It was almost a sad sight, though it wasn't as if she could remember the human's glory. All she'd ever seen was similar to this, overrun by mother nature. Ataxia had finally taken the initiative to explore beyond her newly acquired home, wanting to see as much as possible. She hadn't expected to find such a place like this, it was so captivating. She paused once more, her duo-colored gaze surveying the empty and cracked street splayed out before her. A slender-fingered hand came up, shoving the loose locks of her tawny brown mane back over her shoulders. She'd obviously taken to the third phase of transformation once again, as she was beginning to accept that part of her, surprisingly. Even though she'd been running from it for so long - then again, it wasn't like she honestly could escape the truth of that long-ago evening. It was easier to forget, move on and start over. She was so far away from home, no one would ever even be possibly able to know her.

The coast line seemed to form right at an abrupt edge to the paved-parts of the city. The sand felt cold to her furred feet, feeling the grains lodge into her thick fur as she walked on, following the sounds of the waves. Summiting one of the many hills of sand, she finally caught sight of the dark water, made to seem inky black by the lateness of the hour. Her arms crossed over her chest for warmth, closing her eyes a moment as the salty air teased at her fur, overpowering her sense of smell. She loved it, she simply loved the ocean.

Godelieve was also a lover of the ocean. As she grew up her father had always sang a particular lullaby to her that was about a little baby seal. It reminded her of the water every time she heard it. Beppe had always told her the most wonderfullest stories! She missed him so much, but it was hard for her to think about that. She tried forgetting about him, but she couldn't. Not about him or Otto or Vasco or Genevieve either. Maybe she had not gotten along so well with Otto at first, but she even found herself missing him now too.

The puppy ran along the beach, her golden paws splashing in the waves. She kept to the very shallow parts, the water just barely touching her paws at time, racing along, little legs pumping. She was excited to be out and running around. Hemming had gone somewhere so she had figured that it was her chance to get out there and explore some more. She didn't know if he would let her be all the way out here, if he knew. She laughed and looked out at the big blue sea, kicking up some water.

The petite woman seemed so distracted, but it was nothing new. She often-times seemed to wallup within herself, consumed by the nature of her thoughts. By the distant look, it was plain to see - there even seemed to be a twinge of pain. Regret perhaps? She couldn't fathom off hand what it possibly was that she could be feeling such dread when thinking about.. She hadn't done anything to her family -- aside from completely uproot and cause the end of the structure they had been all used too. It had been so long ago.. why was she thinking of that night so damn much now, it didn't make sense. She was moving on, finally letting herself settle in to try again, and yet even though she'd brought herself probably thousands of miles away from that god-forsaken mountain she never felt the weight of the entire situation as much as she had been lately.

Her thoughts were intrrupted (thank the lord) by the pattering sound of small paws. Blinking her duo-colored orbs rapidly, she finally registered the form of the youngling, bravely bearing the cold and trotting through the light surf. She was baffled by the pup's behavior, and without much thought begun to stride forth, until she was close enough for the young thing to certainly hear her. "Well aren't you brave.." she spoke slowly, a friendly smile twisting her soft features.
