the blind can't see

Excitement, usually a well recognized emotion in a child entering a theme park, was altogether lost on Andre. After all, this was a rather dead, poor excuse for a theme park, and he wasn't much for being excited about anything. Still, it was not the rusting attractions and long rotted, once-preserved foods lingering the grounds that he paid any mind to as he walked along, hands thrust into the pockets of the shorts that were slightly too large for him. No, he could care less about the piles of utter crap lingering around.

What he did express an interest in was the large skeleton of a tiger (though he did not know the name of the beast that had once contained those bones, nor that it was a feline) lying in a grimy cage. He hopped up into the once-enclosure, vaulting to it and climbing up from his hands and knees, and delicately observed the preserved beauty (and the smell, still) of death.

Then he placed out one hand, gingerly ran it across one of the bones, and shuddered at the sturdiness; he had no doubt that, if someone was hit in the head with it, it could generate enough force to kill. Then again, he wasn't familiar with clubbing things, and still had only mastered throwing things at people, which wasn't an impressive feat in any way.
