Night felt her ears flick on her head as she let her paws touch the wood floors of the house. The husky male, Leroy, had taken her in. Of course that had only been yesterday. It wasn't raining now and the moon was full and hanging high in the dark sky. Her small ears twitched and her pale eyes looked at the door that so happened to not be fully shut. A devious grin slipped onto her young maw as she trotted her way to the door and nudged it open with her snout.

The air was brisk and cold against her fur. Sneezing once Night brushed past the door and into the darkness without even a moments hesitation. She felt confind in this house and wanted her freedom. A firefly drifted past her face and made her grin as she jumped after it the little bug never had a chance as her sharp teeth latched onto it and she ripped it to shreds.

Enjoying her freedom she didn't think twice as she dashed into the woods. Running blindly she didn't stop even as the house became quit far away. Her fur blended into the darkness, only her crystal eyes gave her away. Her mother was gone, forever, that much she knew, there was no reason to cry, she knew the pain would go on even after she was leeched dry of the liquid. A familiar scent made her stop suddenly. Her bright eyes caught site of what it was. The den where her mother and her had staid.

A whimper emitted from her as she moved to the large opening of the den. Items of all kinds were still there. There were herbs, just as there had been since they had arrived, and a staff, the collar with a plate of metal on it. The collar smelt good of something warm and so very familiar, but Night couldn't place it. Going to the large leather band she laid her head down on it and closed her eyes. Here she felt like she could breath.
