She chewed away on the meat and gazed out into what was to her merely open space. She seemed tranquil and content, though thoughts flowed through her mind endlessly. Already was she able to feel a touch of her old self. She believed that she was improving in many ways nowadays. She would not have been able to get along with this male in the past. She would have lacked the will to make an effort to attempt to filter out the profanities that were tossed out with almost every sentence the young German spoke. It felt like her mind had somewhat become clearer. Hurt had spread through her whole mentality like a wild fire without control. As pain slowly resided and she found herself able to find control again, she had eventually found that her perspective could widen if she just bothered to work to improve her old ways. What Samael had done to her would likely have happened at one point in the future if she had kept up the pace of her foolish dare games. Despite what had been done to her body, she sometimes felt the need to return back to the games and try to reinstate the image of a world that was her playground.

Reality could not be changed, and in that sense her useless innocence was lost forever. Training was shaping up her endurance, this also the mental one. Rage was strong within her heart, but it could be controlled. She could reel that anger when it started to spread. Cotl’s explanation about his problem was simple. It just happened. While she could have raged about how it was such a stupid answer and demand a better explanation or what was worse, she had swallowed curiosity and gone along with it. And she knew now where it had gotten her. She had found a new acquaintance. Despite having lived here for quite some time now, Halo had been able to find many people she felt comfortable with. She was a picky creature and had few issues insulting those she decided to dislike. She was cold and bitchy, though change was slowly turning her into a more mature personality. She had loathed her loneliness and there was a reason why she had been lonely. Skin-deep beauty could only get you this far, and Halo had wanted more and failed to understand why she could not get it.

Ears folded backwards against her silky hair in honest flatter as the male said that his horse probably would love to meet a beautiful woman. The word “beautiful” rubbed her the wrong way though. Perhaps it was because she thought it untrue. While she should always love showering in compliments, it suddenly felt wrong. Had her features been clumsy and plain then perhaps she would still have been a whole person. Whatever had been stolen from her could never be recovered and there would be horrible scars if she ever was to recover mentally from what Samael Lykoi had done to her. The fact that it always seemed to linger in her mind like a great, heavy cloud troubled her and ruined her life quality. The girl’s gaze returned to the male and watched him take large bites out of his meal. She decided to pick up the pace so that he would not finish long before her – but this was done with some discretion so that he would hopefully not notice how hurriedly she swallowed the food. She did as Cotl; leaving the clean bones. Eyes sharpened for a moment, though she was not sure if she would bother to use any of what was left. She needed her skeletons to be carefully cleansed out. Creating art out of meal leftovers did not tempt her the least.

Suddenly a loose comment from the man rose. For a moment she did not understand what he meant, but then it dawned on her and her lips curled somewhat upwards again. ”I can think of many things, but the issue is whether or not I’ll be able to create it.” She knew that his style would require a whole new style for her as well, making something completely different other than what she had done in the past and all. ”I don’t think I could match the style of your wristbands with great success.” the girl had to admit as she watched the black leather. It seemed human made or something. Just to get black leather in that quality and proper shade would be a nightmare. Of course she could roam around in Halifax until she found something that could fit him that already was made, but that would be cheating and it was absolutely not an option. She gathered the remaining bones by the counter and would toss it to her killer rodents later if she found a reason to go downstairs into the basement.

OOC: I will change this post if I need to, I just kind-of figured she'd follow him out. SSWM:554

”I can think of many things, but the issue is whether or not I’ll be able to create it. the female protested. Cotl's pierced brow cocked at her. He didn't really feel like she had to make said jewelry. The male held up his wrists and looked at the bands closer. He was figuring that she didn't know how to make the leather the way it was, as well as getting the studs to be worked in there. I don’t think I could match the style of your wristbands with great success she spoke to him. He doubted that she got a good look at them from far away, so he was quick to take one of them off, and hand it towards her. Get a gut look at it. -SCHEISS- the male spoke to her, nodding his head lightly for her to take it and examine it. Perhaps you could do something to mimic it, but not be exactly the same? the German spoke to the woman, figuring she might be able to mimic it, or atleast come close to it. His voice was riddled with him clearing his throat instead of profanities yet again. He then shrugged his shoulders. Or you could always-NYEH- find something in Halifax for me to trade. he suggested, his shoulders shrugging again. He wasn't against getting things from Halifax, as long as it wasn't something that he didn't already have.

The male then turned his head to the window, and he looked outside. It was still stormy, but the rain had let up enough for the two to get over to the shed without getting completely drenched. It was simply sprinkling now, but he knew that later, there would be rain. The male motioned towards her. I suggest we go out now if we're-LECKER LECKER- going to see Maschine. Those clouds look like they are going to start raining harder. the male spoke as he started to walk towards one of the side doors that was closer to the shed than the front door. It was just that the front door had the over pass that was more cover rather than the side door that Cotl had chosen to go to instead.

Cotl was the first to go out of the door. He left it open for her, though he expected her to be the one whom closed it, since he had already taken off to run to the shed and open that so she could have a open door to run into. As soon as he yanked on the knob, he opened the door and entered the building his horse had been in. There had been multiple blankets in one corner, and hay covering the floor. He had made sure to keep some hay in here for the horse, and often would travel extensively to find some. In winter, this was not very possible, to it was lacking, he had to admit. He tried his best to cover the ground though, and if not with hay, then with the blankets. He approached the horse, whom lazily looked at his master and nickered lightly. He took the horse by the halter and turned him to face the female when she entered, just so she wouldn't be welcomed with a horse ass. Halo Lykoi, This is Maschine. Maschine, ist dies Halo Lykoi. the male went through introductions. Maschine nickered lightly and bobbed his head a little bit before pulling his head towards the female, and taking in her scent.

Ears folded backwards in quiet wonder when he reacted to her words. Suddenly one of the German male’s wristbands was off and offered. Slowly, almost reluctantly she grabbed it and took a closer look, though her heart continued to sink for she quickly realized that matching this would be harder than she had originally thought. The worn piece was soft in her hands and she stroke the black leather slowly and let a claw carefully trace around one of the studs. Salmon tongue quickly leapt over her dark lips and then she lifted the worn leather and smelled the quality. These definitely had to be old and she was rather surprised it still was as soft as it was. As to mimic the style, she was clueless, though she would definitely try to create something similar just to switch into a new and harder style. She would definitely attempt a bit rougher look with jewellery that could fit males. She had never truly thought of trading before. She felt foolish for not realizing the worth of jewellery that she had simply thrown away or ruined simply because it had not fitted her immediate wishes for charms. She still had quite some in her drawer, though she knew with certainty that nothing of what she currently owned or had made could fit the man’s hardcore bold style. She slowly nodded as a silent answer to the question or perhaps suggestion rather to attempt to mimic the wristbands. It would definitely only be a mimic alright, but the girl was well willing to try it out. She could sit for hours and hours without getting anything done at all, and to refresh and broaden one of her oldest skills was not looked down upon. In fact she welcomed it and just smiled as the male suggested that if not then perhaps she could find something in Halifax that she could trade with.

Of course they would have to trade. She had actually made a necklace for Kaena Lykoi in exchange for the chaos star on her chest, though she doubted that Kaena would have withdrawn her offer to tattoo her grandchild if she hadn’t had anything to offer. In a land without currency trading become important, but the girl had never realized this until now. She felt inspired to travel over to Halifax and gather valuable objects now. She looked up at the male and just smiled, though wondering if she should be bold enough to ask him if it would be alright if she borrowed one of his wristbands for a little while. She never usually kept the skin when she killed her prey. It was all merely devoured on the spot and whatever she did not eat was left behind for lesser scavengers to feast on. Now she found that she regretted wasting all those lovely furs and skins. She would have to take down an animal and work with the skin. She imagined it soft, though she would then prefer a larger mammal so that she could preserve some of the brain mass so that she could soften the skin later. Halo took pride in what she created and she would have to refresh her knowledge how to make great quality leather before she was to figure out how to dye it black without damaging the skin or lessen the original quality. Her thoughts were spinning away from the present as she imagined the process of making a similar leather wristband the one in her hand. Brilliantly white studs could be made with worked bones, though she wondered if it would suit his style that well. His piercings were mostly metal – if not all of them, and she wondered if studs made out of bones would be sufficient. If not then she truly would face a large problem there.

The male spoke and she remembered that she had shown some polite interest in his horse. Yes, the horse at the tattoo he had talked about. He had already started to walk and the girl followed as she tossed a quick glance out of the window and saw that the rain did not fall as heavily as it had the last hours. Good timing then. The door was left open for her and she slipped out and pushed the door gently shut behind as she hurried after his hybrid form. Rain tickled the fur in various shades of copper and for a moment she felt appreciation rather than annoyance for the falling liquid. There were few things Halo loathed more than being soaking wet though. As she came to the shed’s entrance she slowed down greatly, suddenly not feeling comfortable with the fact that she was about to see a large animal whose hooves could be deadly if the animal kicked and aimed well. She slipped into the small building, but made sure to stay close to the wall as she eyed the large creature with Cotl holding reins attached to the animal’s face. It was larger than she had suspected though compared to other horses it was not amongst the largest kind. It was still too enormous for her liking, though she did not fear it. Halo could also be deadly and she was the horse’s natural enemy. It was food to her, and this idea of keeping it as some sort of pet still struck her as odd, though she assumed there was a reason why he kept it around. She was impressed by its looks though – this she could not deny. Ears flattened fully and she froze somewhat as the horse only showed curiosity and stretched its neck out towards her to familiarize itself with her scent. What an odd creature; not fearful of its natural predators at all.

The skull on the horse’s face covered a large area and the female could not believe that this was an actual tattoo. She looked over to the male with some confusion in her ruby eyes, wondering if she had misunderstood him. She remembered how her chaos star had burned. It had not been pleasant at all, and she had heard that some areas hurt more than others when doing a tattoo. She imagined the area around the horse’s face would hurt like hell. ”Are these paintings or real tattoos?” the girl asked. If it was a real tattoo then she had to get to know how he had managed to make the animal keep still as he had worked on it. Her rodents were obedient, but they shed away from pain despite the intention behind it and she would always wish for full control over her small rodent minions. Also, if this was his work then she would see how skilled he was. Although this was again a design that she would never have chosen, she could appreciate the quality behind it and revel at the masterpiece. She pushed slightly away from the wall and leaned towards the animal to take in the animal’s scent in a similar way as when it had ‘greeted’ her. She did not realize this, but her expression had gone from uneasy to beaming once again. It was excited to be so close to an animal that was designed to run away with wolves this close. The horse seemed to hold no fear at all and she wondered if it was stupidity or intelligence behind that fact. She cocked her head, adoring the creature and the marks given by its master.

I'm not a slave to a god that doesn't exist

Cotl watched her look at the wristband, really not minding if she took it with her to study it, considering that he was quick to turn his back and lead her outside without even asking for it back. If she needed it to work, then he would allow her to have it until they traded. He was rather nice when it came to trading, and he really was being on his best behavior with this female, considering that he had taken such an interest in the female, even enough to think of a tattoo of his own design to put on her. (This was rather rare, simply because he was normally never interested in people enough to suggest a piece of beautiful art for them) Much less want to draw them. He was rather excited to start on the sketch that would turn into a beautiful piece of art for her to hang up in her room or whatever, and show all her little friends. Or just admire it really. Hopefully she would like his vision of the tattoo. He was extremely excited to work on it actually, even his shackles rose in excitement.

The two made it over to the shed rather easily, without a problem at all, and to Cotl's surprise, the feo stuck to the wall for a few seconds. He was slightly confused, simply because she didn't need to really worry about the horse kicking her since she was infront of the horse, so he didn't understand what she was doing, until he realized that this might have been the first time Halo had ever really approached a horse. She probably was scared of it, subconsciously. She showed no fear though, for she quickly decided that she could come closer. Are these paintings or real tattoos? she asked. Cotl had been extremely lucky that this horse happened to have a high pain tolerance. The horse had stayed still when he was supposed to, and Cotl would often take breaks, not only for the horse's sake, but for the sake of his own wrist. He was very careful with himself when it came to his hands. He needed them to do his art.

Real Tattoos. I was surprised just as much as you. He simply took the pain like a real horse. I took breaks to rest my wrist as -NYEH- well as the neck and face of Maschine, but he showed no resentment, and actually has been very loyal to me. He did tell me when he needed a break as well. the male spoke to the young woman. Cotl could not understand the horse, so don't think it was that, for he did not know lower speech. He did however know how to read body language, and every time the horse would do something that was to get his attention, Cotl was quick to take a break for the sake of his relationship with his horse. He had been thinking about what if he had some other horse, and then realized that he would never want a different horse besides Maschine. This stallion was perfect. He was calm, smart, and very loyal to his master. Cotl was very happy with his pick of horses.

Komm over here und pet him. -FUCKFACED BITCHES- He's bound to like you. You can just pet his nose, he won't try and bite you or anything. the male reassured the female before the horse seemed to agree by nodding his head up and down and nickering softly once more.

She could not understand why the male would go as far as to tattoo his horse. Was not still useable ink rare these days? Ruby eyes danced over the tattooed animal. While she found the work impressive, she still could not stop wondering the reason behind it. Perhaps the horse was like its master though, as he said that the horse took the pain without problem. The way the hybrid male spoke of the horse made it almost sound like it was a being with a consciousness. Strange. Although the young female did in fact speak close to fluent low speech, she refrained from trying it out, for this was a prey and she did not want to change her attitude. Hoofed creatures were created to run freely through the woods and provide the predators with nutrition. She nodded and smiled at the man’s words though, for if he cared for the creature as something more than it was then it was his choice.

When she was asked to come over and touch the horse however, she felt the uneasiness come back. Despite the dread building up within, her expression expressed calm and acceptance. She moved closer to her Inferni co-member and lifted her slim hand to gently pat the creature’s muzzle. This was not natural and it felt wrong. While she loved her optime and her swords, something that proved that she was a creature of a newer world and different perspective, she still held values from the times where wolves only knew one form. Perhaps it was simply because the idea was too alien for her to grasp. She trained rats – others trained horses. She had her rats for quests she could not succeed in. What was a horse worthy of? Carrying an optime around? She could feel the muscles in her legs tense gently and adored the strength that could be found there. She had been created to run, not sit on top of a creature and dwindle away as it did the running for her.

OOC: I'm still stunned that you're already finished. It's insanity. SSWM:544

She hesitated. He could tell. Again, he figured it was because she was unfamiliar with the animal. But everything seemed to unravel when she finally decided that she could touch the horse. Maschine nudged her hand into his nose before he whinnied to her. His blue eyes were focused on the woman, and he tapped his foot a few times before the horse nudged her in her chest. " Don't be alarmed, he's just being friendly." Cotl explained as he touched his horse's neck, petting him lightly. Maschine reacted to his master's touch and swung his head to his master and hugged him close. He nibbled on his master's long hair before Cotl wiggled out of the grasp of his horse and he then looked to Halo. " What do you think? You like him?-BABBLE BABBLE, BITCH BITCH- " the male asked, cocking his head lightly to her. "You should accompany me on a ride sometime. I figure people are always wandering why I ride a horse, when I can run myself. But it's so hard to explain in words.-PUTRID, BLACKENED, DUSTY VAGINA- It's so much more easier to explain when someone knows how it feels to be in control of a beast that could easily kick you and kill you." he added on, this subject being something that Cotl had wondered once when he hadn't gotten Maschine. Cotl knew that he was faster than the horse possibly, but it wasn't just that, it was the power that he felt being on top of a horse. It made him feel important, special. Especially since he was the only horseman in the clan.

It wasn't like Cotl wasn't already special anyways. The male had a mental disorder, and so he already was special because of that. Maybe he just liked the power. Since he had not been in control of very many other things, he guessed that this was one of those things that he was powerful over, even though Maschine could just as quickly turn around and stomp Cotl into the ground. With the amount of trust that they put into each other, Cotl highly doubted that Maschine would ever hurt him, but you know, there were accidents all the time, and all someone had to to is startle the beast while Cotl was infront of him, and bam, Cotl would be more than likely severely hurt, or dead. Cotl, however was very trusting of the horse. It seemed like it went vice versa as well, simply because the horse had taken the tattooing process very well. The male looked to the female once again, wondering if she'd like to ride the horse. He really didn't expect her to want to, simply because he never did expect anyone to want to do anything that involved him and being within close proximity of him (considering that she would be holding onto him atleast for the first ride, unless he lead the horse on foot while she was riding, but it wasn't that much fun until the horse started to gallop, so he figured she might find that part boring.) and so he awaited her answer, hoping that she might want to ride with him sometime, this hope located somewhere in the back of his mind.

" Cotl is talking!"

I'm so sorry for the long wait Sad (3)

It seemed to go well until the horse did something that she was not at all prepared to handle. Lips instinctively revealed her blistering white fangs as the horse nudged her creamy chest and the girl quickly stepped backwards away from the creature both to get away in case it was to become hostile and to protect the horse from her own claws that wanted to lash out to remove the threat. Her light hued hand rose and pressed lightly against the spot where the horse’s muzzle had touched her. She knew she had overreacted, but there was no helping that. She had never been close to another animal – not a live one. Her face calmed down merely a moment after she had given off that silent warning and she turned to the man again. ”I’m sorry,” she said sincerely after the male’s own words had withdrawn from the air. She recognized the social behavior pattern and knew she should have recognized it earlier. The horse only tried to be friendly.

Her lips pulled in different directions when it was asked what she thought of the mammal. ”He’s alright,” she concluded and tipped her head slightly over to the side as her ruby gaze wandered over to the horse again. The sound of sitting on top of it was too alien for her to be comfortable with. She did not exactly shudder at the thought, but it was probably noticeable that her excitement did not shoot through the roof. His words were hard to understand, but he said himself that it was hard to explain what he meant. Ears perked slowly up from their position against her skull and she felt that she relaxed slightly more now when first instructions and all seemed to be over and done with. ”I would fall off.” were the words now falling out of her. She did wonder why he chose to ride the animal when he could run perfectly well, but of course she did not voice this out loud. He probably guessed her thoughts anyway.

Word Count: 503 YEAH YOU BETTER BE SORRY BITCH! j/k ilu <5555(because you're too cool for 3's) we should probably end this like, soon. Uhmm...We should also have another thread...because...we just should...

In Character

She seemed startled that Maschine had gone ahead and touched her. In the equine world, this was just a simple polite greeting, but in the world of Halo, it seemed to be a threat. Cotl pulled the reigns back on the horse, which made the stallion take a few steps back away from the female. She also put in a distance between the two as well. I'm sorry they both said it at the same time, Cotl bowing his head lightly though, feeling as if this was his fault that he had made her uncomfortable. His audits fell lightly against his head. The male pushed at the horse's chest a bit more before he got himself between her and the stallion. The woman went on to tell him what she had thought about the horse. She had told him that the stallion was "alright". This didn't mean that she liked him, but this also didn't mean that she didn't like him. Cotl couldn't do much but grunt lightly. It could have passed off as his Tourette's, or she could have taken it as a grunt towards her, but he would never tell.

The female then seemed to relax a bit, which was favorable for him. The anxiousness melted away from her, which had the same effect on him as well, which had caused him to let out a small sigh before she had said that she would fall off. Babe, I wouldn't let you fall. -NYEH- I would be riding on him right along with you, you know, since we both wouldn't be more weight than he can handle. All you'd have to do is hold on to my waist. the male spoke, telling her that she wouldn't fall off if he was there with her. Though, we should wait until the weather clears up a bit. the male added, nodding his head lightly. The male then let go of the horse's reigns to allow the male freedom in the large shed, in which instead of the stallion going up to her and pestering her more, he sensed her uneasiness, and he simply turned himself away from the two canids and he went to the corner where there was some hay for him to eat. The equine started to munch on the dried grasses and he ignored to the two canids now.

Cotl looked to the feo. Let's head back-FUCKING BITCH ASS HOE- into the house then. the male spoke to her, nodding his head before he opened the door (they were lucky that it still was drizzling outside) and he was the first to bolt out the door and to the mansion door, leaving both doors open for her to easily be able to get out and into cover once again. When she had come back in, his eyes went back on her. I'll need you to do some modeling for me...Is that okay with you?-NYEH- It'd be for your picture... the male spoke, nodding his head lightly as he spoke to her.

Fine by me! (3)

She was uncertain of how to judge his reactions and whether or not that was what they were. Now she focused on the sigh of his and pondered what it may mean. She did not want to think of it as paranoia. The male spoke and seemed locked on the thought of having her ride on the large horse. She did not know – thought that just meeting the horse was more than should be expected of her. Riding was not something she felt eager to try anytime soon, though of course it was comforting to know that he would be on the horse’s back there with her whenever he managed to coax her up on the horse. She found now that she was grateful for the wet weather. It would buy her time. ”I don’t know though, it doesn’t sound like something I would enjoy, I think.” the girl spoke out as she watched the horse walk away from them. Cotl continued along and suggested that they should head back into the house. She nodded and followed behind, closing both doors that were left open for her.

Topic returned to her tattoo again and she considered his words in silence for a while. Modelling how? She felt discomfort by the thought of someone watching her like that, but it was only for the sake of the tattoo and she soothed herself with that fact. She took care not to let her doubts shine through her face. She eventually nodded; deciding that it was alright. She could not get her tattoo without adding in some effort. ”Sure.” her voice confirmed and she added the usual thin smile as she pushed the discomfort at that thought away. The young hybrid woman had to start to function normally again anyway. It would be good practise. She followed the man as he found pen and paper in his room and braced herself to spend several hours posing for the man as he drew her body and a field of flowers, tainted just like she was.
