Luperci: Yes

-Mother: Laqueefa

-Father: Vingt Ur’akai

Description: Jajuka, at first glance, is a peculiar wolf to see. His fur color varies from a light gold color to a deeper tan, the darker hues concentrated mostly on his back. The fur on his front paws starts out black, fading about mid-way up his arm to brown, then a dark gold. Starting from his mid-back and going down his tail and hind legs are a series of dark brown tribal tattoos typical of the Ur’akai clan. To top it off with a bit of contrast, his eyes are a striking, bright blue.

Once the initial shock has died, and a closer look is given, you can see that Jajuka has the light, muscled frame of a runner, kept fit by his constant wanderings and tendency to get into fights. Height-wise he is about average for an adult male Luperci, coming in at about 7’2” when in Optime form.

Closer observation will reveal a number of scars hidden on his body. Most notable of them are a single, short slash on the right side of his muzzle, a series of three scratches on his inner right thigh, and a tear in his left ear. Also worth noting is the presence of 5 small, silver hoop earings—2 in his tattered ear and 3 in the other.

Personality: Jajuka comes off immediately to most as a brash and cocky young wolf. A mixture of past experiences and a over a year of traveling by himself has taught him to care only for himself. Because of this, he is generally apathetic to others and not one to tell your sob stories to. Despite this, he usually knows when spout snarky comments and when to keep them to himself. Thus, given time to adjust, he can still be civil and work relatively well with others.

His self-important attitude is a subconscious shield, allowing him to hide the feelings of inadequacy he has from childhood.

History: The remote, wooded area known as Hidden Creek had almost always been home to two factions: the main pack and the Ur’akai clan. A bloody war had broken out between the two, costing many their lives before ending in an unsteady truce. The Ur’akai, smaller in number, were forced to the outer lands of Hidden Creek, but still had access to the numerous shared territories. It was in this post-war setting that Jajuka and his litter were born.

A few years after the war had died down, there was still tension between the pack and the clan. One fateful day, Vingt, descendant of the Ur’akai leader, had made his way into the pack’s lands where he raped a female named Laqueefa. Before long, it became apparent that she was pregnant, and Jajuka and his siblings were born.
Vingt, being ever-watchful, waited until their birth and snatched up half the litter, taking them back to Ur’akai lands. His mate, giving birth to a pup of her own a couple of weeks earlier, helped him feed and raise them. Despite the emotional turmoil caused by taking them, Vingt more than likely had saved his pups, as the litter was much to large for Laqueefa to take care of on her own.

Jajuka grew up as a happy-go-lucky pup, oblivious to the harsh realities surrounding him and his birth. Eventually, he reached the age when he could shift and then received the tribal tattoos each wolf with Ur’akai blood obtained. Feeling like a true clan member now, and fueled by the curiosity of youth, Jajuka inquired about the Ur’akai’s past, about his past.

He was filled with both shocked anger and a warped sense of pride when he found out that he was a part of the vicious clan, learning about their murderous tendencies and how they had sparked the Hidden Creek war. At first he had hated the thought, growing up without death and violence around him. But soon enough he was beginning to embrace the idea. It was part of who he was, after all…

Yet before he could fully adjust to this ‘new’ reality, the truth of his conception had arrived before him, told to him by a complete stranger. The blooming flower of malice within him was crushed by the hatred he felt for his father, and before long he felt like an unwanted fixture within the clan. It took him months to fully hide his feelings of hate for his family, for his clan, but part of him had already accepted the viciousness, thrived on it. As he got older, his hatred shifted from his clan to domestic violence itself, and that twisted pride was once again a part of him. The murders he could handle, but rape… that really set him off.

Eventually Jajuka decided to leave the lands of Hidden Creek. The Ur’akai prince set out to explore the world, living on his own for almost a year. Then one day, he arrived in the valley of Bleeding Souls.
