Paws sunk into the fresh snow. Their light tone melted into the white, lost under the light flakes. Each paw fall silent in their decent, the lightweight fey traveled unnoticed by the thin forest she walked among. But the woman felt far from elegant and gentle as she strode through the sparsely treed lands. The bag’s strap hung heavy on her shoulder, awkward and uncomfortable. The Dreamer was not one for cities, not one for things and human articles. She did not read, and so she did not write. She had held a weapon only once, and that was to sheer the stems of flowers. But there were others that would benefit from the fabrics and the matches that she had gathered. The candles would work well at night, and the knife would help with cutting bandages.

Blue eyes fell to the ground, watching the sun glimmer over the crystals of snow. The sky was bright and newborn blue after the snowfall. The sun was distant, and it warmth nothing more then a memory of summer. But he gave light, and Anu was satisfied that she at least had a shadow to walk beside. She tried to focus on anything but the images that passed through her mind uncontrollably. The blood of Colibri on her arms, the screams and cries. They pierced her heart even now, even knowing that the Earth toned woman was safe behind the walls of Haven Manor. Halifax was near the flower-pack’s borders, and Anu had entered the city’s limits before getting too close. She doubted she would return, ever. Even though the pack was now a place of remorse, her thoughts lingered on the male she had met just hours before retrieving Coli from the fangs of her father.

She wondered about the brother of the woman she loved. They were pleasant thoughts, when she focused on his need for closure regarding his own heart, and not the idea that Haku had tried to go after him after ripped the tail from his daughter. Maybe he had gone to her, who ever she might be. Anu re-shouldered the bag, picking up her pace and holding tight to the strap in hopes of not spilling its contents. Conor had been so certain that he was not worth of the love of his chosen female, and Anu knew that feeling all to well. The Dreamer even managed a smile as she remembered his questions, and his eagerness to know what he could do to change his circumstances. She hoped he had.

A sparrow's song pierced the morning air, diverting Lexey's attention to a bird nest nestled within the confines of a snow-topped fir tree. It was an incongruously sunny day, cruelly bright and cheery. Glistening rays of sunlight revealed winter's finest landscape, allowing the Acer to revel in the present moment. Her mood was neither sweet nor sour today; it was pleasantly... mellow. Although it had been unintentional, Alexey's mind had acquired a defense mechanism of sorts. There was a special place, deep within her subconscious, where she could seek refuge from life's hardships. Evasion was necessary for the Caregiver to function properly; with the Lilium's recent ascent to the rank of Rosen, harmony within Dahlia de Mai was no more. And yet, this was not her biggest problem. Conor's dejected eyes besieged her day and night, filling her heart with unsurpassed remorse. Peace of mind wasn't fully attainable, but she did her best to hold her head up high. Certain problems could be locked away for a later time.

Time stopped and reverted back to nothing; unadulterated simplicity, a white oblivion. This state of mind could've last quite a while, had it not been for the smell that infiltrated her nostrils. It took her some time to catch on, but her body eventually reacted to the intrusion. Her ears twitched, rhythmically swaying back and forth with the sounds of another approaching. Alexey pushed her nose forward, analyzing the provenance of said stranger. She knew the scent well enough to know that it belonged to Crimson Dreams. It was a comforting thing to know, and this knowledge soothed her worries before they could manifest. And then, just as she was about to investigate further, an unknown female emerged from the woods. The Acer froze in her steps, uncertainty briefly taking hold of her. "Excuse me," she called out softly, wishing not to startle the Dreamer. "Do you need any help with that?" The bag did not appear to be the lightest of burdens. Perhaps she could help carry it back to Crimson Dreams.

No, there could be no guilt. Anu thought as she pushed it down again and again. The pain she felt was just as great as any others. She had been hurt as well, but her own unhappiness and her own emotional woes would never reach the status of those she loved. The young woman had left again and again, and yet Anu was attached to her so deeply that she would forever feel Colibri’s pain. But for the moment Anu would refuse the guilt that threatened to sweep her off her paws, the burden of the bag she carried was enough.

A scent that was all too familiar found its way to her nose, and before the Dreamer could decipher the details among the fragrance she heard a voice and stopped in her tracks immediately. Turning the blue eyed fey found another female standing before her. Her heart had stopped, and once the relief flooded her mind it restarted with a jump. Anu found that she hadn’t heard the question, and looked at the Dahlian for a moment’s time. It was obvious that she meant no harm, for the monstrous Haku was the only beast that she feared, but the smell of the flower-pack made her weak.

“Um…” Anu faltered as she remembered that the stranger had indeed asked a question. Taken aback by her polite and generous offer Anu could do nothing but accept the help from the unknown woman.
“Please.” Fingers went to the bag, and took out the top blanket that had been a last minute “purchase”.
“If you could?” Anu asked as she handed it to the tan and brown female. Blue eyes looked to the golden that the nameless held,
“I’m Anu” She spoke with a small smile. Despite the small startle she had been given, Anu could find no fault in the eyes she looked at for a brief moment.

Good manners appeared to be a thing of past generations. Good Samaritans were also a rare sight; so infrequent that she couldn’t remember the last time someone had offered to help her with anything. The Dreamer had every reason to be baffled by her proposition. Hesitation was made clear, if not by her perplexed expression, then by the first sounds to escape her maw. Alexey braced herself for rejection; ears pulled back in sheepish fashion. Obviously, not everyone was accustomed to this kind of encounter. But the Acer’s discouraged assumptions were all for naught. Her interlocutor’s voice spoke words of compliance, ultimately accepting the offer.

Honey-hued orbs trailed the woman’s delicate fingers as they took hold of an item inside the bag. The Koios girl noted the fabric’s softness first, not immediately realizing what the piece of cloth was. “Sure,” she replied, holding both of her arms out. Their gazes intertwined, and Alexey returned the smile with a slight wag of her tail. There was no reason for her to feel anxious, but she couldn’t help it. Her attention riveted to the blanket in her hands as her fingers lightly brushed against the cushiony material. “Pleased to meet you, Anu. I’m Alexey,”

Blankets seemed practical enough. The Caregiver already had a few back home, but most had succumbed to Emwe and Conor’s puppy wraths at one point or another. But the boys were all grown up now; responsible young men. Surely, she could spoil herself by acquiring new linens. “Are these gifts for your family?” she finally asked, wondering if they had a friend or two in common. Lexey took a few eager steps forward, indicating to Anu that she could start walking again. They had quite a ways to go before reaching Crimson Dreams, and she did not want to delay the silvery-hued femme any longer.

The fey was younger, but as Anu let her eyes glance over her features she found that she was very much as mature as she was. She bore knowledge just as Anu did, and perhaps her own secrets just as Anu. It saddened her when she thought of the hidden things that she held, remembering the days where all she felt was written so plainly on her face. Now she was forced to tuck them away, cover them up with false strengths. Sadly she placed such a restriction on herself, to save those she came along or those she lived beside the pain that her problem would bring. Though she thankfully did not dwell on such thoughts as she watched the Dahlian accept the luggage that she carried. Her smile was kind, her eyes understanding and Anu did not feel guilty that she could not carry it all herself. Her paws fell in step with the Dahlians and responded with a smile,
“It’s a pleasure.” As it certainly was. Anu had yet to meet a Dahlian, other then Haku, that she did not like. But she found it hard to not let his horrible nature shadow the rest that belonged to the flower pack. It was such a horrible way of thinking, and yet Anu could not put the past behind her. It was a secret that she had to hide, and a truth that could not be written along the lines of her face. Tragic, was all she could feel towards the lives of those that lived among the monster. If Alexy had not asked the simple question that came next Anu might have hurriedly asked how she managed day in and day out beside the scarred brown beast.

Instead the soft toned female simply asked if what she had gathered was a gift. Blue eyes looked down at the bag she carried, and hastily shook her head.
“Oh no.” they were not gifts at all, though she supposed they could be considered a gift, yet that had not been her intention.
“A packmember, she was hurt.” Anu began to haphazardly explain the circumstance that she and Colibri were in, eyes fell shut and she shook her once again, Coli was more then just her packmate, and yet she was not her mate, not even her lover. A free hand rose and it scratched her temple as she attempted to find the rightful answer. “They are more of a necessity then a gift.” Anu spoke, giving an answer the woman’s question rather then a runoff story about how she and Colibri had to flee the Dahlian lands for their lives. Of course the tale hung there, and the questions would certainly arise and Anu was beginning to feel those false strengths fall to small dust like pieces.

“I’m caring for her, I had asked her to leave her pack. She was attacked because of it.” Anu spoke softly, watching the snowy trail that would lead them to the Dreaming border. She didn’t want to look at the woman, to see the wonderment and the curiosity. Though she had been able to speak the words till now, and it felt like a weight lifted off her shoulders. The thought of stealing a member away from Dahlia brought Anu more guilt then necessary, since the reasons had been life or death. Yet as she felt like she had told an entire hour long story of events that had changed her life there were still so many holes left to be filled.
“By Haku.” She ended, finally looking to the female who’s honey colored eyes were an odd source of peace for the Dreamer. There was kindness on the golden orbs and Anu sought that now, her own face lost to the soft frown and the soft unhappy lines around her eyes. Anu didn’t mean to leave the other in an astonished state, lost among the chopped and broken story that was her life. Still the tawny fragile female found nothing more to say, walking slowly in the silence that would no doubt ensue.

300+ !

There were a thousand possible clarifications that could’ve followed; so many probable circumstances that would have been easier to stomach. But this revelation, no words were gifted enough to make the blow less brutal. It was unexpected, but she did not doubt the veracity of Anu’s announcement. She had seen what lay concealed behind those ethereal orbs, something vicious, waiting for the right opportunity to wreak havoc upon the world. This was not the problem. Well, it was a problem, but something else (or someone else, in this case) took priority over the Rosen’s insanity. Which poor soul had succumbed to his delusions of grandeur? Cercelee? Would he have gone as far as to harm his long-time colleague? Inquiries assaulted her psyche one after the other, filling her head with likely scenarios.

The former Rosea had been absent at the pack’s recent gathering, yes, but her scent still permeated the air. Although her absence was troublesome, her mate had attended, thus confirming the fact that Cercelee hadn’t left Dahlai de Mai. So who was it? Pack members, current and former, flashed before her eyes. There was no way she could have pinpointed the right person; Haku’s aversion with people in general was far too pronounced. He’d gotten physical with her too, of all people. His children’s foster mother and a council member. Alexey had suffered no physical injuries, but she feared the psychological trauma was just as bad. Silence reigned while she contemplated the information provided. Quite a few minutes passed before the Acer finally allowed herself to reply, starting with an apology on behalf of the whole pack.

“I’m really sorry,” she murmured, her head shaking back and forth in quick successions. There was only so much she could say without revealing the extent of her leader’s madness. “I’m glad she’s safe now, whoever she is.” Out of respect for the woman, Alexey would not directly question the victim’s identity. It was Anu’s decision whether such information was divulged or not. “He- He’s not all right in the head.” Oh, what a terrible person she was; talking behind her Alpha’s back, but he deserved it for all the pain and heartache he’d put them through. Shame poured through her like burning fire. What would Anu think of her now?

It was right to place this truth on the shoulders of someone she didn’t know. Anu found that she couldn’t look the Dahlian in the eye, and her face fell to the ground as if she examined the path her paws fell upon. She focused on the snow, watching her foot paws sink into the soft white. It felt foolish and immature to have blurted out such a thing and now to be unable to face it. Colibri passed over her mind’s eye, and Anu was caught by the beauty of it as she was each and every time she thought of her. The Dreamer felt weak, succumbing to the sadness that she had closed away in hopes of seeming strong. She had felt this way when speaking with Haven, lost in her on emotions and troubled by the path her life had taken. Alexey needed none of this, her own life could not be any more stable with Haku as one of her leaders. Anu often thought of the alpha that ran their family and let Haku destroy one beast’s life after another. They were either blind, or just as evil as the monster himself.

At the female’s voice Anu forced herself to look to her face. Her own words were lost and the cinnamon hued wolfess spoke her apologies and her gratefulness. Anu was thankful as well, but she could not forgive herself for laying this onto the back of her newfound companion. It troubled her, and played on her face. Blue eyes stole a deep set glance at the other, seeing that her words brought on more then just sorrow. The Crimson wolf slowed her saw steps, shamed herself for making this the topic that they discussed. Alexey spoke of Haku, mentioning that his brain was not working as it should. Anu felt it deeper then that. The brain commanded only so much. The heart and souls filled those empty spaced the brain did not touch. There they commanded the morals, the love and the passions one possessed. Haku held none of that, beside the passion. It was a black yearning that smelt only blood and understood nothing more then hatred and causing pain.

“Touched by something evil.” Anu responded, looking away once more and continuing at her normal pace. There was hatred in her tone, and for Anu hate was reserved for very few. Forgiveness came easily for the silver tinted wolfess but there were few that she could not find any hope for. But this was Alexey’s life, her pack and her family.
“I’m sorry.” She said softly, knowing that she was at fault for bring these feelings forth.
“I don’t mean to…” She trailed in search of the proper thing to say.
“I am sorry for making you uncomfortable. Its not right for me to say those things, it makes it seem like I think his pack mates are just as horrible.” There were so many that she knew that were not as Haku was, he gave those that lived among him a horrible reputation.

A hand rested on the woman’s arm, feeling the need to express that she believed them to be more then decent beings so greatly that she pleaded that the woman listen.
“I have befriended many Dahlians.” Anu explained. She knew many, and had even fallen in love with one.

300+ !

Alexey had seen atrocious things in his presence, and she detained multiple reasons to believe that his problem was indeed psychological. When at his weakest, the Rosen had shown alarming signs of psychosis. Deep within his blackened heart, there was the faintest gleam of hope; a child, lost and confused, struggling to resurface and make itself known to the outside world. She had spoken to this creature for a brief moment, come and gone too fast. Whoever this being was, it had showed no signs of hostility towards her. Over time, the Acer had forced herself to block out all recollections of that day, but there were times when his childish face would come back and haunt her. Haku Soul’s features had been different; smoother, younger. But she had gone and pushed her luck by digging deeper, in foolish hopes of finding the source of his madness. Doing so had been the biggest mistake of her life. His incisors had sought her face next; the one and only warning she’d been graced with before he'd launched himself at her. This was the reason why she now refused to approach him unless absolutely necessary. And yet, in spite of everything he had put her through, Alexey could not help but feel compassion for the poor bastard.

Her new acquaintance was a resourceful woman, and Lexey was beginning to see things in a different light. Perhaps he’d been touched by something evil after all? Anu’s profound apologies were all for nought; the Dahlian femme hadn’t taken offence to the words spoken, and none of it had made her feel responsible for the Rosen’s acts of calculated violence. She had stopped blaming herself long ago, knowing her sanity could only sustain so much guilt without collapsing. “There is something I should probably tell you,” she began, filling her lungs with air before contributing her share of bad news. It was better to warn her now, to keep those she knew from harm. “I would suggest staying away from Inferni and Dahlia de Mai until things settle down. There is bad blood between us.” Her voice’s reassuring undertone was bogus. With Cercelee gone and no one else to stop him, war was inevitable. And it would be the biggest, most devastating one yet.

Anu can be spaztastic.. xD
SSWM - 604

It was hard to find someone who had not been touched by Haku Soul, and Anu only knew his touch to be painful. That beast would never be without claws, his mouth never without the poisonous fangs that leached acid into those that sought out happiness and peace. But a snake was not the right description. Anu saw him as something far larger, something with many more teeth and a strength that was beyond any beast that they walked among. It was indescribable, and something likely to be found in the written word of man, whose devilishness knew no bounds.

Anu wondered what it was like to live among the beast, and had only truly seen it through the vision of his blue eyed daughter. And it that gaze there was nothing but fear, destruction. Alexey did not hold a great strength that allowed Anu to believe that he was nothing more then the black sheep of the pack, but she was not succumbed to his atrocities as fully as Colibri had. The Dreamer saw it as a numbing of sorts, had she been habituated to the knowledge and the sight of it? Of course the older female did not know the Dahlian well enough, and such judgment would not be passed fully.

Her voice rang in the tawny fey’s ears, and there was a certain seriousness there. Anu seemed to slow her pace, as if the crunching of foot paws in snow would drown out the important news her new companion was about to tell her. Immediately the Lt. General thought of her pack, Coli among them. She feared that Haku would attempt to hurt them, just as he might attempt to hurt any innocent. It would kill her to think that he might hurt a Dreamer, for any reason. And if that reason were connected to her, Anu would not rest until she righted such a wrong.

But the information was surprising, for Anu had not know that there was a history there that would boil blood until it spoiled. Inferni? No, Anu was not entirely surprised that the coyote clan had an enemy, but she could not believe that the pack would seek out one. Gabriel believed in defending those he loved, and she did not see him as one to bring such a horrible fate upon himself. Of course Anu saw only what she wished to see of the doggish hybrid, her blind spot large and impairing. Now there was to be a war? Would it grow that large? The word it self was enough to make Anu begin to shake with worry and fright.

Keeping her emotions in check, Anu glanced at the other female. She tried to keep her worries to herself, though she had already divulged more information to the woman then Anu normally thought appropriate. There were things that Anu still did not understand, and she couldn’t find a reason not to question. Alexey had seemed forgiving before and so Anu allowed the concern and curiosity to come forth.

“There have been threats?” From Inferni to Dahlia, from Dahlia to Inferni. For whom and to whom it did not matter. Was she in danger? Anu was so suddenly concerned for the woman she had just met that her words were no longer the soft placid voice that she normal held,

“What will your alpha do? To control Haku?” It was fairly rude to speak to her, having just met her, in the slightly demanding way. But Anu hoped she would understand, and there was sure to be more apologies in the future for her current behavior.

300+ !

Accurately describing the happenings in Dahlia de Mai was near impossible; there were too many things kept from the public eye, too many ways to bypass the pack’s hierarchy, too many flaws with their ranking system. The Acer hadn’t always thought so, but with Cercelee’s forced removal from the Flos Floris ranks, every recent occurrence pointed to harsh reality; the pack revolved around Haku Soul’s every whim. In a way, she too was one of his followers. And for what reason? Emwe and Conor’s safety played a big part in her decision to stick around. Her love for the pack as a whole, especially the members deserving of her affection, prevented her from deserting the place she now called home. There was still hope for a brighter future. The newest generation; the two boys she’d raised, Mew’s children, and a select few others were worth the struggle. Her loyalty rested with the pure of heart and not the blue-eyed demon.

The Dreamer’s face became a mask of worry as their conversation took an unexpected turn. Alexey did not immediately reply when Anu’s first question rang clear, preferring to choose her words carefully before providing a response. Threats? None had stemmed from Inferni as of late. It was still unclear whether the coyotes had been the ones to litter the borders with metal jaws. The Rosen believed it was them and to a certain extent, so did she. Who else had it out for Dahlia de Mai? Whoever the culprits were (for some reason, she liked to assume there was more than one), they were dotted with incredible discretion. “Aside from a few unwanted intrusions,” Two young coyotes had recently ventured far too deep into their homeland. “No concrete threats so far.”

Beige-tipped ears flattened fully against her skull when yet another inquiry suddenly came up. It stung a little more than the previous one. “Haku is the Alpha,” she announced regretfully, choosing to avoid the Lt. General’s questioning gaze. Clearly, Crimson Dreams hadn’t yet gotten wind of the Rosea’s recent departure. “I’m the closest thing there is to Haku in Dahlian hierarchy.” And that wasn’t saying much. She, of all people, would never stand a chance against the demented male. Almost immediately, the Caregiver felt the need to justify herself. “I have to stay for Conor and Emwe.” Hopefully, Anu would understand the reason why she couldn’t follow in Cercelee’s footsteps. Haku Soul had brought two beautiful boys into her life, one of which she had involuntarily fallen in love with. She couldn’t leave them behind.

What she understood of Inferni was vague, and surrounded by the idea that they feared wolves and hated them for the persecution that they had suffered at the hands of the species. Anu was unsure how she felt in the midst’s of a clan member, always hoping to show that she was not like the other wolves they had known and wanting to be a good representative of her kind. To know that it was Dahlia that they particularly did not mix well with brought new light on her previous confusions. As she herself felt that Haku was the one that made Dahlia unsafe, it must have been his presence and his actions that gave Inferni a reason to hate the pack of wolves. But, the feelings were felt by the flower pack as well. Inferni was not known for their cordial greetings, and so the animosity could truly be shown from both sides. And, as Anu listened to Alexey explain, they had already tested the formability of the Dahlian borders.

Noticing the change in the tan colored features, and the dip of her ears, blue eyes were drawn away for a moment in hopes that she would not show her intensity. But the news that was given made the Dreamer stop her paws completely. Alpha? He was the leader of a pack, a pack that Anu had once trusted and found as a comforting place. He controlled them, and controlled any of the wayward beasts that sought the comfort of a monster with an insane mind.
"I.." She tried to speak, but her voice was no more then a squeak and there were not words that could come to her, and she could only remain quiet. The sudden icy grip of fear that clenched her heart restarted her paws, though walking slowly; she felt the need to continue home with no more idle stops. Silent as well, Anu tried to listen to the other female, and what she caught was the name of the young male she had met not long ago.

“Conor?” She asked with the concern she was feeing for all the world in her voice.
“Is he alright?” with the tone of a mother Anu questioned the wolfess. She must be the anchor for the rest that looked for peace and safety among the rest of the chaos and the menacing creatures that she was sure Haku attracted. Was the cinnamon male safe? The brother of Colibri and she had spoken about frivolous things, things that mattered only when lives were not at stake. Now, Anu could not linger on how the male fared with his love affair.

300+ ! terrible delay! I failfailfail.

It was unfortunate how things had turned out, almost as if their conversation had been doomed from the start. The madman’s power went far beyond Dahlian lands, as was undoubtedly the case right now. From miles and miles away, Haku Soul was tormenting a good portion of local residents, and quite effectively at that! Upon hearing Anu’s single syllable response, the Dahlian woman risked a glance sideways. She too, found herself in a situation where she just didn’t know what to say. Something told her to offer a few soothing words, something that would put the Dreamer at ease, until she realized that she couldn’t promise nor guarantee anyone’s safety at this point.

Her legs mirrored Anu’s movements, slowing when necessary and accelerating when the situation required her to do so. She hated being the bearer of bad news; they all had their share of problems and adding to that must’ve been unwanted, however important the information truly was. The way Conor’s name was spoken did indeed remind her of the tone she generally used whenever she worried about him. It was strange to hear this particular intonation coming from someone else. Alexey couldn’t disguise the expression of sheer surprise flitting across her face, unable to decipher how they had gotten acquainted in the first place.

“Y-yes, he’s – he’s alright,” she stammered on, bewilderment tumbling out of her maw in the form of poorly formulated sentences. A sudden chill travelled up her spine and Alexey found herself wondering if it had been caused by the chilly temperature, or the unexpected turn in conversation. “I mean, a little shaken up by all of this but he’s hanging in there.” Pause. “You know my Conor?” And so it slipped out, the one possessive adjective that should have remained unsaid. Realizing this, she mentally beat herself up, replaying the exchange and the mistake she’d just committed over and over again. Hopefully it had gone under the radar, but the odds of that happening were highly improbable.

Her mind set had not allowed for anything pleasant to pass through her thoughts, pleasant enough to allow the Dreamer to forget what had happened and to enjoy much of life’s simple things once more. It was unlike her to dwell so heavily on one certain thing, though she had not been granted with fly-away wisps for emotions and they stuck to her mind and heart. Still she was not like this, to the point where she couldn’t have a discussion with another pleasant creature without mentioning that her life was riddled with disasters and she was frightened that her lover would be stolen from her bed in the dark of night.

Now, Conor. How could Anu forget the young male who had spoken to be about the safety of Dahlia just before running into Haku and Colibri? Their conversation had been so pleasant, even if he had been stern with her, all rightfully so. Anu had been trespassing, but then she had been love struck and they had spoken of Colibri as well as his crush. Still, even the notion of the young lad could not bring a smile to her face. Anu worried for him, feared that he would not fair under the leadership of a crazed beast.

It was her moment to bring surprise to Alexey’s face, and it was apparent that Anu had struck a cord in the other female’s heart. The Dreamer listened eagerly, and was relieved that Conor was indeed safe. With her other friends from Dahlia gone, and Colibri in Crimson Dreams, Conor and now Alexey were the only wolves that she trusted there.
“Good.” Anu spoke with a slight nod of her head. The entire situation was unfortunate, and not to mention frightening beyond belief. And as the Dahlian explained Anu was happy to settled with shaken, it meant he was whole at least.

Her brows rose at the question, for she did not miss such connotations. The fey was not too young herself, or as Anu could recognize, to have birthed the young male. Though, she still did not know. Perhaps it was her son, and not the female that Conor had been wooing over during their conversations. Such topics seemed to belong to some other lifetime, but here it was being replayed in her mind and without the idea of a crazed monster and broken tails and hearts.

“He is your son?” Anu asked, letting her first assumption take hold and run with her tongue.
