ooc: on the outskirts of whisper beach where Sankor buried Iskata, aw but would like someone who knows Firefly to show up if anyone wants to claim.

IC:

Firefly hadn't been paying attention to where she was going and her paws had brought her far from the pack indeed. She'd lifted her nose to the air and the scent of Dahlia de Mai caught her attention. A frown appeared upon her maw as she debated turning back, knowing that there were very little well wishes for her within the pack. She hesitated long enough on the dunes, her attention caught by what seemed to be an old grave, the rock and wood markers things that seemed to have washed up upon the shore. Normally Firefly had little care for death and the world beyond but the grave seemed so out of place and strange. Who would bury another out in the middle of nowhere, the creature must not have been a loved one for there was no care and tending to the grave, not even within a pack's lands. She eyed the weary site for a second longer before shaking her head and moving down to the sea for a moment to gaze across at the slushy waters of the bay.

She hadn't sat there long, the winds cutting into her pelt as she scanned the bay a moment before turning to leave the beach. She knew she wasn't welcome anywhere near these lands and for the future she'd rather keep her life. She didn't know if the change she was going to be bringing to her packlands would be welcome by all but it wasn't going to be undone. She would welcome it if no one else would. The Sadira lady moved quickly back along the dunes, cutting straight into the sands hoping not to run into the pack who's border fell so closely to where she trod.

OOC:I'd like to say I am so sorry this took me so long Shannon!

Night moved with smooth steps, very graceful for her young age. She never went home, or rather to the house Alexy and Conor took residence in. Night didn't like to be there, to many young to many people. It made her feel strange this empty need and it made the visions of red even more powerful. She would get these moments where she wanted to see the red from the other small creatures in that house. Some how after Conors reaction she figured she would be held acountable for that and punished.

The sable girl never staid to just the pack lands, she would wander out and farther and farther each time. She had gone back to Cour Des Miracle lands, but that had proved boring and useless because of her small size at the moment. Thankfully she was big for how young she was and already reaching 50 pounds. Her size though would never change her disease.

Night didn't know it, or yet, that she couldn't feel pain. She didn't even understand there was such a thing as pain. All along her pelt were places were blood had dried and scabs and started to form. All of those places from one sharp branch or one miss step she would take. She hadn't learned yet that she would need to be more careful. The Thames girl took a step onto the sandy land just outside the border. She didn't really like the beach to much something about it made it distasteful to her.

Blue eyes slowly looked over the area looking at the expanse and then the golden she wolf further down. Night didn't move from her position. She felt like that color was familiar, but didn't really work to place it. It wasn't in her best interest to so she didn't even try. Those Azure eyes kept looking down the beach with a blank cold swirl to them. She lacked any real solid emotions most the time. Night did what she did best, she stood still and watched the women from a few yards away.

Firefly had been again to leave when she’d heard a slight sound behind her, her emerald orbs turned towards the noise and surprise lit her eyes when she noticed the child who belonged to Cour des Miracles. She hesitated, knowing that she had no right to be on these lands but having every intention to find out what Night was doing here. She growled slightly to herself and hoped that the girl hadn’t decided to follow her from the pack’s lands. She shifted her weight and gave in, sighing as she padded across the sands to stand before the child.

”Well, what are you doing here Night?” She asked, remembering that it had indeed been a long time since she’d seen the girl. She flicked her ears back as she studied her, realizing that the girl held the scent of Dahlia de Mai. She snarled, her fangs bared as she demanded more. ”Why have you been in Dahlia de Mai’s territory, you don’t belong there!” She couldn’t help but remember that she didn’t belong either and currently she risked losing her life being right here right now. Why did things always have to get worse before they got better. She eyed the child, wondering if she would be able to carry her all the way home without a fuss and uproar.

OOC:fishie goes bloop bloop

It didn't take long for the Golden she wolf to recognize her and treak over. Realization set into Nights head and she let her ears fall back on her head as her cold eyes peered at the she wolf coming towards her. She knew Firefly Sadira. Not well, but she knew the women. The sable girl didn't know that Firefly had been a very close friend to her mother, she didn't know much about her mother. No one spoke of her except Whisper and even she hadn't known very much only small tid bits.

The women spewed harsh words and it made the child feel nothing, coldness engulfed her heart and she felt like she had since she watch Whisper die. With out parents, with out someone to love her lick her baby fur she really tried to chase thoughs very thoughts away. In Cour Des Miracles she had felt like a true orphan, an unwanted infant. Her mother had killed herself leaving her behind in a selfish decision. Whisper had wanted to give her back but had been stuck with her.

That was all that she had in Cour Des Miracles, a dead womens memory and nobody to love her. She didn't know what love really was, but she had seen it when Ayita and Leroy had licked their pups. The sable girl had craved that affection until it burned her azure eyes, until finally her eyes just stopped burning and her chest began to feel cold. Night had perffered the cold over the overwhelming burn.

For once the child was entangled in emotion, this women had brought them upon her like a wave of unwanted sea water. Blue eyes flashed with an familiar rage and young teeth bared. It was so unusual for Night to express anything other then a lifeless gaze and strange smiles. This untamed anger that ripped through her was a stronger burn then any warmth she usually felt. It made her heart hurt in her chest and her fur rise while she felt her whole body become encased in heat.

"You don't know where I belong you bitch." Her young voice was cold, expressing none of the rage her body suddenly showed. Did this golden women think she had the right to pretend she cared? It only made that burn hurt her chest even worse. Of course what Night was feeling wasn't physical pain since that was impossible for the pup. Her sable coat rose all the way down her spine while azure eyes held a wild look to them. This was her enemy, the people who pretended that they gave a shit.

Firefly was debating how she could take the girl home without causing trouble when Night spoke up. The cold tone to her voice and the words she spoke causing Firefly’s heckles to rise as she pinned her ears back. Anger sparked in her eyes as she wondered where the child had learned to speak that way and why she was speaking to her in such a manner now. Firefly had known that she had been rather upset and self absorbed in her mourning of her friend and the everyday things, but she had never realized that Night had run off and joined Dahlia de Mai. She wouldn’t put it past Haku but she seriously doubted he’d kidnapped her, not after the way she spoke.

Firefly narrowed her eyes as she snapped. ”And you honestly think you do?” She shook her head as she pressed on. ”Why would you even want to live here?” Firefly knew that Dahlia de Mai was not that bad though there were a few rotten eggs, she just wished that Night would get over her little attitude and come back home where she belonged. This was not how Firefly had thought that her day was going to go, and as much as she realized now she’d wronged the child of her friend by ignoring her she couldn’t fix what she’d done in the past, she could only pray that she’d come home and allow her to start making amends now.
