Snow, again? Minos walked with a hurried pace through the center of the pack’s lands. He was surrounded by structures, buildings of sort that made the wolf uneasy. They were tall, yet not taller then trees as he could measure. The omega had wandered far from his alpha, and had yet to meet any other that followed him. It was odd, for a pack to be so separated. From what his memory could recover the pack was one unit, hunting, feeding, sleeping and playing together. Minos had yet to come to understand what made these lands different then the rest.

A sound in the distance made his thought return to the moment, ears unfolded from their normally backward position and the male wolf stopped to take in the sound. It was difficult to see beyond the houses that sprung from the ground so unnaturally. The canine turned quickly, checking to see if he was being followed. Yellow eyes moved from side to side and once he figured that no one was behind him Minos continued over the soft snow and continued forward with his task at hand.

There were three things that Minos was in charge of. It was a responsibility of each that was bound to the lands and laws of the alpha. The most important was food, something Minos was always on the search for. Ears worked to find those that hid beneath the snow, eyes searched the alleys the buildings created and his nose searched the air and breeze for any notion of something edible. Alive or dead. The second was defense. Secure the borders, defend those that were submissive to the alpha. The third, was to follow, do as they were told. Simple, easy.

Ears fell back to the top of his crown and the white wolf narrowed his eyes as he continued on without either a command to fulfill nor the scent of food on the wind. Minos felt a snarl rise in his narrow chest and his lip twitched at the frustration.

Haku had plans for his new, unique omega of Dahlia de Mai. The simple creature had shown up at the borders and revealed food and shelter as his only requirements for loyalty. Haku could not have afforded to turn him away. Although the male was lesser of what a male should be – at least in the Rosen’s opinion, the male knew with certainty that he would prove to be useful one way or the other. The white man seemed to lack what most canines had nowadays: questions. He did not question his leader; he would follow his alpha’s words because it was the right thing to do. Haku knew with dire certainty that he was probably the strongest wolf in the pack. Slay, Cercelee’s mate was larger, but not a fighter. Haku was pure muscle and had long experience in dealing with conflicts the physical way.

Cercelee had been weak. He was surprised she had dared to return after fleeing to Twilight Vale when the first conflicts with Inferni rose and threatened the wolf pack. A fleeing leader was not strong, only pathetic and unworthy. He wished for those ancient old days to come back. He was now holding Dahlia in his hands, but it had taken him too long to retrieve it from the ex-Rosea’s weakling grasp. Only a strong being could be leader, for the pack needed a strong warrior to lead them. In the past, wolves had been simple like Dahlia’s current omega. They breathed, they hunted, and they ate. The wolves of ‘Souls would never be humans. Never.

The chocolate coated male lifted his head to the skies and called out for the newly accepted male with the fur in the colour of snow. Haku had realized that something else was wrong with Minos as well as his uncomplicated personality. Not wrong per say, because Haku would do something about it. The aim was not to destroy – he only wanted to improve the newest member a bit.

The while yellow eyed male grumbled at the lack of food on the wind, then lowered his head to continue his never ending search. It was rare for the mangy creature to be satisfied, and he meandered through the town in hopes of scaring up a thin half dead rabbit of other small mammal that might find the buildings a pleasant place to find beneath. Black nose peered beyond the corner of one of the structures. He had no idea of why they had been built, understanding so little of humans. Where he came from there was nothing like this, well he certainly didn’t remember them. Rounding the corner of the house, the beast stuck close to the foundation, now that he knew that it would not hurt him. Slowly he crept and his nose sniffed at the concrete incase it held any evidance. It didn’t, and Mino lifted his hind leg to add a small spirit of Dahlia claim. As he did his ears rang with a noise that might as well been a siren to the pale beast.

Mino fell to the ground, getting to his feet only to rush around the house and hit his backend against it as he found the path that was centered down the middle of the small town. He lipped a few feet, walking through the pain and then taking to a run in the direction of the call. It was obvious that it had been the alpha that spoke, believe no other would raise the voice in such a commanding tone. It would be wrong for he, or another follower to seek the audience of their leader. Minos would rather search the entire territory and beg for a moment to speak instead of beckoning the alpha to come to him.

Followers came to leaders.

The creature moved with his nose to the ground and found the musky scent of the chocolate male. He slowed at the sight of him, towering above him on the slightly elevated ground. He lowered his body, turning his head with ears flattened. Minos sniffed at the ground and walked to the alpha at the slightest curve. All in hopes of showing that he was by no means a threat to the other wolf’s position. A direct approach might had been seen as a challenge, and Mino challenged no one. If he could have been lower then the snow that lined the ground, or the dirt beneath it he would have.

It became rarer and rarer that Haku found satisfaction while dealing with his Dahlian followers. Until recently they had always looked up to the fragile little female with her fragile little heart, but now there was a new top leader and he dreamt of other rules. He adored the world of old where bloodshed was allowed for the sake of survival. Freedom had sneaked into the pack and made everyone equal. This was not how it had been in the past. The common marks on brown and gray coats gave the canine access to a liveable life. Wrongly coated strangers and white hybrids were put on the bottom for everyone to spit on. Every day he had seen her little face and her sickly blue eyes he had wanted to spit and put her into place. Every day he longed back, back to the ancient evils that once had existed in tales and lore. He knew he carried a dark holiness within and basked in his lonesome glory while the rest of the world was unaware of the oncoming holocaust. Gabriel had known and he had finally responded to Haku’s summon. Anger had twisted the doggish hybrid’s face into something horrible though Haku had only found beauty in it.

The approaching white male belonged at the omega rank where he had been put. Although his suspicion was that this was beyond doubt his most loyal follower – and this despite having been here merely for a few days – he belonged nowhere else in the hierarchy. This wolf was to bow and strive in hope to be able to climb up from his miserable position. Lips pulled slightly back as fangs were silently bared as the Solum of Dahlia de Mai approached its leader. This member was one that brought the Rosen satisfaction. This was a soldier he wished he had many more of. Unfortunately there was only this one and Haku would make sure he was used well in the upcoming warm. ”Minos,” the chocolate coated man greeted, deciding to waste time before he would strike. His tail waved in good will though held the height of a leader in presence of a scapegoat. Today they insisted everyone should be granted the same rights no matter of their position, appearance of personality. Well, Haku did not agree. In order for Minos to reach his potential, harassment was necessary. At least this was what Haku believed in.

It was nothing about his past that made him the dutiful follow the white beast had become. As a pup he had been cared for just as the rest of his siblings has. He had not been beaten, scared and tortured so that he might cower before anyone larger. It was his make up, the internal formulation that built each cell, each molecule that flowed through veins and each bit of matter that formed his brain and the instincts that were master with in it. There was no past, there was not history. There was nothing but the moment, and what it brought. The male had nothing more then what he had been given the day of his birth, all those cells, the blood was his heart and instincts of his head to react and respond to each stimuli. Family? Minos had it. Yellow eyes took in his father, creation in its entirety. It stood before him in the form of the alpha, and in his next life if he was allowed or if the wind took him up to travel to another pack he would know see it in the next leader he followed. This was his life, and Minos willingly accepted it. He had simply always been; this.

Pink tongue slithered from his lips, covering the teeth his wished to hide and licking his black nose in nervousness. Paws step after paw step the omega moved closer to the male that ruled. Eyes glanced at the male’s face, seeing the fags that gleamed with a tinge of yellow that spoke of experience and of impending pain. At the sight of them Minos felt his legs shake. He straitened them, hardening the muscles to keep them come collapsing from under him. The thin bones canine was still not close enough to the male who had called him, and if he made the alpha make those last few steps to close the gap, Minos would feel the pain of his mistake. His voice spoke the name Minos went by, and he whined softly at the sound of it. Waiting a moment, another slow step and the male was beneath him, his carriage low as always. Tail moved back and forth; a pup showing its pleasure that the father had returned to the den. Another wish to appease the beast that dominated. His lips twitched, “I am here.”. Voice stated, in the rare instant that his form did not show that he had indeed arrived and in the stance that would please the most.

The simple reply caused the man’s lips to draw upwards in a smile that no primitive wolf would offer another unless there had been unease and challenge in the air. Haku was not who he wanted to be either, but perhaps this reluctance with this world was because they did not want to accept his chaotic ways. To a degree he could understand this, but that did not mean that he accepted it in any way whatsoever. The world belonged to him and the sooner people were to realize this and accept what could not be refused then better would it be. They kept insisting on prolonging the inevitable, but this was okay because he liked playing these fun, fun games. The man gave a court nod and decided that there was no reason to attempt to treat the white man as anything else than he was. He silently wondered if the man’s instinctual ways were because he was untainted by werewolf blood. Would he then risk his new minion’s loyalty by introducing the sickness to his system? It was necessary for the upcoming conflict though.

The young male crawled pathetically in total submission and he thought it a shame that he would have to turn on his own member anyway. Teeth flashed and blue eyes searched for the best location to pick on the man’s body. He knew little of how the shifting ability spread from creature to creature, but he knew that exchanging liquid could do the trick and Minos was too simply too primitive for this world he lived in as he was now. It did not matter where he hit. ”Do not be afraid.”The Rosen moved swiftly and lashed out for the white male’s biceps with hungry teeth that found their aim with ease and sank down into flesh where the fur on the man’s limb was thinnest. He did not bite deep, but he did go down into the large muscle.

Finally, in his slow and weary movements, Minos had come to his alpha. Complete and utter submission riddled his form, making it impossible for the male to defend himself from the impending attack. The voice from above spoke, calming the omega though there would never not be fear felt when in the presence of his leader. The large beast showed all signs of domination, and thus Minos cowered to give all of the signs that he wished only to be lower then the one he stood beneath. It didn’t matter what he was here for, what the alpha needed of him was unimportant at this moment. All the male cared about was what he showed this moment and not the command that would be given. Minos waited, trying to not be afraid because such had been told. But the male shook beneath his pelt, muscles twitching in his nervousness.

Yellow eyes looked up, pleading with the master of his pack and he could not run from the fangs the sought his flesh. Fighting back was not and option, running might have been if he had noticed the signs that told of the alphas rage. The wolf had though he had pleased the dark toned beast, but, instead he cried with the sudden pain that ran through his bitten limb. The wolf pulled away, paws pushing against the snow but the larger male need only hold his ground. Minos fought only a moment, before falling in defeat and allowing the wolf take all he wished.

The pathetic thing squirmed and cried, but Haku knew no mercy and let the fangs dig in further as long as the white canine’s body resisted the least. Minos did not lose his mind entirely, however, and it strengthened Haku’s knowledge of the other wolf further. A quiet grin crawled into Haku’s face, though his eyes were the same empty blue disguising the red glow of the living devil within. Haku’s jaws ripped for a moment more before he let go and investigated the man’s fresh wound as he licked his bloody muzzle. He was almost annoyed at the other Dahlian’s despair. ”I only wish to improve what you are,” he snarled as the well known blood made his neurons scream. ”This will make you stronger.” he continued before he lifted left front paw and bit into the cream hued fur and skin and flesh. When his fangs had dug deep enough to release a decent flow of blood, he turned back to the man and pushed his bleeding limb against Minos’ open wound, pressing hard and trying to somehow smear his own blood into the other man’s bleeding flesh and into the blood flow.

Why? Minos could not comprehend why his alpha hurt him so. The pain was everywhere, stemming from the limb but shooting beyond it and into the rest of his being. It was trapped in his chest too, his heart pounding until he was sure that it was burst from his rib cage. No, he had been good. No, he had worked to please the leader and this was the reward that he had been given. It was still not good enough, and the confusion was his gift, the pain his return. Minos cried out, unrestrained in the hopes that it would beckon the other wolf to hear his pleas and be generous enough to release him from this agony.

The pressure was withdrawn, but only a moment. Minos looked wide eyed up at the brown beast, blue eyes looking relatively calm compared to the wild yellow that stared up at them. Blood filtered and filled the air, his own and now that of the dominant male. The pressure returned, and the pain was even greater. Minos could not manage to understand the message, a promise of a stronger future not enough to quell the current devastation that he felt. Now the omega snarled, not in aggression but fear and hopes of survival. His neck reach, teeth searching for anything and everything that might give him release from his captive.

Hi this sucks and I used some pp Sad, let me know if you want it changed.

Haku nearly always chose cruelty before kindness. The blood was spreading and he could see it by the reaction in the white male. A sadistic grin crossed the man’s face – rare though true felt. It seemed the white man lost the remaining amount of self control and Haku reveled at the primal self defense mechanism that started to send orders to the white wolf’s brain. He pushed against the Dahlian member and felt teeth draw lines on his skin and damage his flesh. He resisted a maniac’s laughter and greedily snapped out after the primitive wolf again – more than happy to mingle more of their blood just to see the other writhe in agony. Red eyed shadows floated closer to revel in the presence of blood. As both wolves received fresh cuts scattered mainly around their fronts, Haku eventually managed to grab a proper hold of the man’s ruff and pushed the wolf down with his heavy secui frame. Minos’ fur had spots of pretty pink and he felt a warm rush embrace his nonexistent heart. Beautiful.

Yellow eyes closed as the teeth of his alpha spoke with action to quiet his retaliation. There was no reason for the omega to speak against the actions that were being taken place, though his will to survive was louder then that of another followers. He wanted to survive this, though Mino was becoming more certain that he would not. The larger beast held him by the scruff, as a mother might a pup. The embrace was nothing but fear inducing, the pain nothing more then a shadow compared to the fright that he felt. But with the hold Minos moved no more. His body became rigid, muscles tense and his eyes wide with the fear that his life would be lost, that the pain would only increase. But the alpha spoke though his motions, and the white wolf followed the instinct that had allowed his survive thus far. He adapted, facing the fact and instead of defying the notion of death Minos accepted it. His muscles went limp, accepting what would come and finding trust where his mind washing fear had once been.
