OOC: first thread out of aniwaya, forgive me if it sucks. ^^;

A gray-white wolf lay in a small clearing in the mass of trees, and was busy gnawing at her front, left paw. She had carelessly stepped on a three inch long wooden barb, and hobbled to the clearing in order to see it in the light in order to examine and try to remove the invading object. Aria was aware that she had most likely left a trail of blood from the spot she had stepped on the barb to where she was currently at, but she was more concerned about the pain and possible infection that could come from the object. The female looked around to make sure nothing was approaching while she worked to extract the cause of her pain and worry. “Gah!… Damnit!…Stupid aria… why couldn’t you pay attention to what your about to stand on?!?” she asked herself, cursing from the pain of moving the barb the wrong way and having hit a nerve.

The female wolf had only come to try and find something that might be of use for the Aniwaya tribe. She knew that the pack most likely had more than enough dried meat in storage so she figured she would leave the pack land to search for anything she could find, that was worth finding. After exiting the Aniwaya land, Aria had proceeded in a north-northeastern direction, marking her path every one to two hundred feet, (starting a half mile away from the borders) so that she wouldn’t become lost. She hated to be a burden and have to rely on other’s so she always did her own hunting, and stayed out of the way at all times. Yet she still felt like a burden, so she had come out to the dense forest in search of some sort of tools or other useful creations.

Aria had found a few rusted nails before the event but doubted the rusted metal could be of any use so she had only sniffed them to memorize the scent and proceeded to try and pick up the scent of more metal. It was only fifteen minutes after finding the nails that the event happened…
