Your always on my mind

Time had been standing still, the black male fraught just to find something to smile over. Lucifer knew that this wasn't the life that any one should lead, though his mind fraught over what was making him feel like this, what made him hate waking up, what made him come back to the den and go to sleep, it couldn't have been her, still could it? Lucifer knew that this was not something that should be happen, but yet...it should shouldn't it? He had lost his children, she miscarried them...masses of blood and furr, the image burst into his head.

Lucifer sighed as he kicked his paws along the dirt path, he failed to bring any thing back to the pack to eat, he had been falling far be hide with in his rank, he was not getting ahead any where in life or in the pack. The male snorted as the mud slashed up onto his chest, why though there was no reason for him to be so anal about his looks...but yet he was, mud he hated, the feel of it, and how it just stayed there on your coat till you where able to pull it off. Lucifer sighed as he walked into the library of the common area, as he rested his head upon the ground laying there looking at the book, he was still playing the game of hiding he couldn't read.

[html]aww, they're so similar. endy can't read either!

Mud! Wretched stuff, it was. Endymion scowled as he stalked through the corridors, picking clumps of the stuff off his arms and legs. There was a trail behind him of half-dried mud leading all the way to the entrance of the den. The Wahrer normally enjoyed border patrol, though today the earth was soggy and the air humid. Bad weather always set him off; Endymion enjoyed sunlight and warmth over the cold, grayness of winter. Spring was taking its merry time to arrive, and the wolf was beginning to grow impatient.
Endymion turned toward the library, intending to pass through it to get to his den. He had been avoiding the commons ever since they had found Phasma there, and didn't want to visit it any time soon. He shuddered a little as he passed the opening to the chamber, quickening his already swift pace, and swooped into the library. However, he nearly jumped out of his mud-caked skin when he just missed tripping over a dark-clad creature lying on the chamber floor. Endymion halted abruptly and hopped to the side, catching a yelp in his throat before it escaped and made him sound like a fool. Clearing his throat, he attempted to regain his composure. "Oh," he mumbled, "Sorry."

Lucifer jumped hearing the other males' voice, he messed around with the book trying to look like he was deep in it. So badly did he want to be like Noah, and Phasma, both loved him for there own, both knew how to read. The male nodded to the male as he flipped the page, looking to him. "I don't think I've meet you. Fatin's son?" It was the coat, that gave him away. Lucifer knew that she was a rare looking one around these lands. Every one of the children that she had popped out had something that looked like her, this one had her built and color.

The male wasn't sure if he was right or wrong, but he had hopped that he was right.

Lucifer smiled as he stood up, there had to be something that they could do be side look at each other and trying to figure out who parents was who's and what not."Sorry that was mean. I'm Lucifer."

Seeing as the dark male was just as alarmed as he was, Endymion didn't feel like such a fool. Shame was something the two-year-old felt easily, and over rather trivial things. But, then the other spoke, and Endymion nodded, smiling slightly at his question. He got it a lot, but he always felt rather proud to confirm it. He saw Fatin as a Queen, and the strongest person he knew. He hadn't seen her in a while, though, and that bothered him. He remembered what she told him about the dangerous wolf that had attacked Inferni children last year, and the thought gave him a chill. He suppressed it, however, and gave another easy smile to the male.
"Not at all," he said, waving a hand as if to brush the statement away, and then offerred it to Lucifer. "I'm Endymion. Have you been here long?"

Lucifer knew that he promised Fatin he would look after her children, though from the one that he meet he didn't need any one to take care of him, he was pretty much able to live, breath and figure out right and wrong for him-self. The male gave a nod, greeting the red male,"I've been with the pack for about 4 ta 5 months now. Time is hard to track some times"

Lucifer sat down looking at the book, His dad loved to read, he was always reading, and mother was always writing, and only new how to draw, it wasn't the best, but it was better then nothing. "How long have you been here?"

If Endymion knew how much Fatin trusted Lucifer, he might have been jealous. He was, however, ignorant and that was probably for the best. "I came here in mid-October," he replied, looking up to the ceiling in thought. "We joined around the same time, then." It was odd that they hadn't met formally, though Endymion could remember seeing him when Phasma was found. The red wolf's smile faltered slightly at the thought; he didn't want to think about that.
Searching for something to distract him, he glanced down at the book Lucifer was holding. Though unable to read himself, Endymion was interested in others' enthusiasm for it. "Is that a good book?" he asked, hoping he wasn't prying.

The book was nothing that he could get into for good reason, the male looked back to it with a small smiled as he shook his head."Nope, sorry I just couldn't get into it."of course he wasn't going to say that he couldn't understand a single word, no matter how short or long it was. Lucifer stood up, using his back leg to kick the book out of the way. A book didn't matter, he had promised Fatin something and now he was going to make sure that at least him and the male was able to talk to each other, like friends at least. "Hmm...want to go for a walk around the lands?" or they could go hunting, but Lucifer was getting sick of throwing that offer up, it wasn't that Lucifer didn't like to hunt, no he loved to, it was a passion for him, but he done it all the time, and he used it for a reason to stay out of the lands.

He knew he needed to stay in the lands more, offering his services to other pack members help with some skills the male had gotten a small idea of how to do them, he knew a little about a lot, but never a lot about one thing, it felt like it made him more rounded for the pack, willing to bend and flew where he was needed with out having any thing to say about it.

He shrugged. A book was a book for all he knew. Yet, then again, he didn't really know much about books in the first place. Endymion watched the book tumble away and turned back to his counterpart. He had just come from the territory, but another walk wouldn't do him any harm, especially if he had company. "Sure," he replied, nodding briefly. Besides, he wasn't the type of person to turn down an invitation.
The red wolf began walking the way he had come, glancing behind him to Lucifer. "So," he asked, grasping for something to make small-talk with. "What does make a good book?"

Lucifer gave a soft laugh as he looked back to the book, the further it was away from him the better, less of a headache it could be to him. Lucifer smiled to the male, it was odd looking at him, he was sure they where about the same age, and every thing. Why did Fatin really want some one that wore there heart upon his sleeve, to look after her children. Far be it for the male to know that she had a litter much longer then the male he was looking at now. "Uhm....words! Yeah words! The longer the better."

The black male skipped up the path looking be hide him, he wanted to see what this male knew about the lands, and the borders, where they laid and what not. Lucifer wanted to make sure that if he did any thing in his life, he wanted to make sure the pack had a few trained members in the pack that knew what to do.
