I want something good to die for
Everyone is welcome to reply, after Mel replies with Gabriel first of course!

To make it beautiful to live
It was something she had been expecting for a while, but never really thought it would happen so soon. The time seemed to fly by and she had been patrolling the borders. Well, more or less waddling around them with her big belly. The pains had hit her all at once, but she had relaxed herself enough to figure out exactly what was happening. She scanned the borders quickly with her eyes, trying to figure out if Gabriel was anywhere near by, or anyone else for that matter. When she figured he must have been a little ways off she made her way as fast as she could in her current state to the den she had first stayed in. It was the closest thing to her, and the most safe. When she had first arrived in Inferni almost two years ago that was where she had stayed with Nyika and Tedros. It was the safest place she could think of at the moment, she was not willing to risk traveling all the way to the house.

The coyote whimpered slightly as she squeezed into the cave, panting lightly with the pressure that was being put on her lower half. Faolin's heart was pounding in her chest, she was excited and scared all at the same time. Slightly panicked she let out a howl that reverberated off the cave walls and outside, calling forth Gabriel. Its message was clear and he would know exactly what to do. Fatin would be close most likely, but instinct was starting to take over as hours had already flown by and the first puppy was already coming through.

***

Faolin was tired, but nothing could stop her from staring at her two new children that Gabriel and her had brought into the world. Her heart glowed with warmth and the attachment she had felt towards the two little bodies beside her was more stronger than anything she had ever felt. She curled her body around them, protecting them from anything and everything, they were her life and she would not let anything happen to them. There had been three, but the last puppy to be born was small and did not come out alive. It was saddening and her heart lurched at the thought, but what was most important would be protecting the two that remained at her side, suckling at her breasts. She would wait until Gabriel came until they would name them, she was not sure if he was already outside pacing around the den. With the birth she would be completely on her own, she knew that, but as soon as her instinct kicked in and took over, there was no thought, she action. She was like a robot who had done this so many times before.

Faolin smiled, pleased with the outcome. She dropped her muzzle to the little boys head and gave it a lick, repeating the same with the tinier femme beside him. They were so small and so delicate, she could not help but smile and her heart warmed with gratitude. Red eyes beamed with happiness and she lifted her muzzle, finally coming out of the daze. "Gabriel? Are you out there?" The puppies beside her wriggled as she called out, they could probably feel her voice vibrating off the sides and floor of the caves. Red and cream muzzle rested on her paws as she sighed, waiting for the face of her mate to appear through the cave door. Soon they would have to move them to the house where it would be much warmer, but for now, Faolin was content with staying where she was, not wanting to disturb the little babies beside her.

indent As soon as that call had come, riding over the cold air like the black-winged birds he was watching, Gabriel had moved. The panic set in more with Faolin then it ever had with his mother because this was her first time. He did not expect things to happen this suddenly, and as he came around towards the span that came closest to Jaded Shadows, he called out in a wolfish howl for Fatin. They had no set medic (though Matrix had shown she had experience with plants) and no one who Gabriel trusted enough in matters such as these.
indent Soon, panting, he came to a halt outside the den. It smelled like blood, but her voice told him things were okay. Pushing himself into the den’s mouth, crawling most of the way on his belly, the large male soon spotted his red-eyed queen and two children that were suckling at her breasts. If he was capable of beaming, he was—and he moved to her side quickly, giving her a loving lick and rubbing his muzzle over her face and neck. “Oh baby, they’re beautiful.”

She didn't have much to do today; no one to visit, nobody at the borderline to harrass. Empusa sat down on the porch outside of the house, resting her elbows on her knees, and then her head on her hands. It was strange, that she was able to sit like this. Before, she'd only had her four legged form. But now she had another.

The girl heard the piercing howl and stood up, alert. Who was it? It had sounded like Faolin, but she'd never heard the matron make a sound like that before! She started slowly toward the area she'd heard it from, long red hair flouncing to and fro, hearing another howl as she went. She soon arrived at the area, a den that she'd never seen before. The half grown hybrid stood uncertainly outside of the den, a few feet away. Gabriel was inside...and she'd seen him around food before. What would he be like around his children? Empusa backed a few inches back, looking at the entrance and biting her lip.

Rachias had made it a point, ever since Gabriel had told her, to linger around the borders of Inferni. It couldn't be to long, she had been certain, so each day she set out for the city to look for things to do, which meant she was fairly close to Inferni. The half grown hybrid hadn't even made it to the city before the sound came, faint and soft, which made her unsure. Even so, the girl wouldn't have ever forgiven herself if she decided not to check and missed the first day of their lives. She moved, swift and agile, darting across the lands and towards the borders of her once home.

Once near, she made no hesitation about crossing into Inferni, and instead sped up. There was a faint touch of her brother's scent in the air and Rachias immediately turned to follow, coming upon the sight she had been waiting for. Empusa was outside the den, though the caramel colored girl paid little attention to her as she passed by, ducking low and beginning her way inside the den. A very faint whine was given on her way in, announcing who it was but saying nothing. Once inside, she paused only a moment to look, before scooting off to the side of the den nearest her brother. "Oh." They were so small.

No need to worry 'bout everything I've done

Live every second like it was my last one
She had been expecting the call, and yet even when it came she was shocked. Slightly alarmed and slightly excited, the Alpha was set into motion. She was on four paws, and had already prepared her bag of goodies. Soft blankets, though she knew they had enough in the house, herbs, a few pieces of dried meat, just the meager things she had wanted for her own birthing had been carefully packed into the worn leather bag. It was now across her shoulders, awkwardly swinging beneath her belly as she ran towards the sands. She expected to leave that night with a few scrapes, maybe some bruises, but seeing these children - Kaena's grandchildren, but most importantly Gabriel's firstborns, meant far more than anything the coyotes would do in retaliation for her being around.

When her feet touched the sands she took a moment, shifting her body so that she could walk and she could actually make sure of what she had brought. When she finally found the den site, she sucked in a breath and carefully made her way inside. Being shifted put her at a disadvantage for space, but it was more important that she was able to care for the family rather than just be comfortable. Smiling gently at the sight, she gave a brief glance to the two younger females before turning her attentions once more to the small family. Gabriel had never looked so proud. Beaming at him, she reached out and gently touched Faolin on the back, checking her breathing in a subtle way. "They're beautiful darling, how do you feel?" She withdrew her hand, instead diving into the bag to carefully pull out the contents. The herbs she kept in the bag, far away from the children just on the off chance one decided to investigate. "I brought some blankets and dried meat, just in case you needed them.." She murmured quietly. Turning her eyes from Faolin and the babies up to Gabriel, she finally asked the question that had been looming on her mind, "What are their names?"

Anyone that wants to jump in still can of course!

To make it beautiful to live
The girl was drifting in and out of consciousness, but had stayed awake for the fact that the two little bodies at her side. She swelled with pride as she stared down at the little ones giving them each a lick on the forehead. Their dark bodies well-hidden amongst the red of her coat, the boy was still eating, but it seemed the little girl had quickly fallen asleep. She sighed and looked up at the door way, lips curled back in a snarl before recognizing the large body of Gabriel and she soon relaxed, it carried another scent along with it, Fatin. She had briefly met the red haired lady and was growing quite comfortable around her.

She squinted her eyes and laughed as she was covered with kisses and nuzzles from her mate. There was no way Faolin could have been any happier and she returned it with a couple licks on his cheek. Her tail wagged back and forth and she nodded to Gabriel. "Yes, they are aren't they," she grinned and looked down at the two petite bodies that were curled up near her for warmth. There was soft paw steps from outside the den and Faolin recognized them instantly. "Empusa dear, you can come in and greet your cousins," she smiled again eying the smaller female outside the den. Another body hurried in and she recognized the scent immediately. "Rachi! I'm so glad you could come!" All the excitement had Faolin's heart racing, but it quickly slowed as she got used to all the others inside the den.

When Fatin asked what their names were, Faolin looked up at Gabriel, they had decided on a couple names already, but she wanted to leave the final decisions to him. "Well, if we had a boy we decided we would name him Ezekiel de le Poer, but we had a couple names picked for if we had girls," she licked the forehead of her little boy, Ezekiel, her beautiful boy. Faolin's gaze drifted back up to Gabriel's golden eyes and waited for him to name the baby girl that was starting to stir from her slumber.

indent It was Rachias who came next, slipping in and coming to his side. She was here more and more, now, and Gabriel was glad. They had to keep the old blood around—he was waiting, ever so patiently, for the day his siblings became old enough to be considered adults. Then, he would test them, and train them, and make sure they had enough salt to stay true to the clan. The manic gleam in his eyes was always there, but the intensity of that light varied.
indent Fatin came in next, and Gabriel remained still, watching her work. While he trusted her, the instinct to protect his family was viciously strong. Only when Faolin spoke did he shift his weight, smiling and wagging his tail. “Talitha Lykoi,” he said, watching the small girl squirm and find her way to the precious life-force that Faolin could offer them. Two names from his faith, a prophet and a girl brought back from the dead. After a moment of watching the two children, he looked up to Fatin, speaking again. “You’ve always been here for my family,” he began. “I want you to be there for them as well…” He trailed off, unwilling to state the obvious: If the worst should happen. “Would you be their godmother?”

I r blind and not see OOC post! -shot-

Bright blue eyes immediately sought out the small wriggling forms, squinting to catch a good glimpse of them from where she'd settled in. The two pups were small, perhaps small enough that it made Rachias edgy to be near them. Certainly they wouldn't be up and wandering around for a while, she hoped. She couldn't imagine having to look out for them while she was just out and about, worrying about stepping on them or something of that sort. It really didn't look it. Rachias was about to speak when a sound came from the outside, foot steps. For a moment she assumed it to be Empusa coming in but when the scent of another hit her she was suddenly on edge.

The woman appeared then, shifted and barging right in, and the caramel girl felt her lips jerk back in a silent snarl. She didn't like not knowing the scent and, even though she didn't live in Inferni, she knew what scents belonged and what did not. This one did not. It was only Faolin reacted the way that she did that Rachias calmed, though the snarl didn't leave her. She shrunk herself down beside her brother, withdrawing and listening to the words spoken. She wanted to ask their names before but that thought had been cut short. Now though, her brother spoke. God mother. She calmed more then, any sort of anger disappearing from her face. If this was the case then it would mean this wolf was family now, at least if her brother said she was, like Rachias assumed that it meant.
