Vitium had taken his time in roaming the city that had never been claimed by the wolves, though the scent of them was all about he knew that the place still rang true to the people for great wonder and use. He had come to seek out and inspect any weapons he might find, knowing that he could rely on his teeth and claws but by his own blood’s display he doubted the enemy would do just that as well. His paws had carried him through what had once been the human’s domain, the scrap of his claws on the pavement as he made his way down the street his eyes scanning the shows and windows for a building that might house his every need.

It didn’t take him too long to find one in what must have been a rather seedy place in town once. The graffiti that decorated the alleyways and backstreets had come to rest upon the front of almost every shop as well. He studied the fading marks on the walls a moment before letting his eyes slide towards the dusty cracked window beyond. He could make out a display of ornamental knifes in the front glass, decided that it was better than nothing to check what lay beyond the old worn windows.

He gave a quick jerk on the handle, the door giving a screech of protest as it left its resting place in the frame. He wondered briefly how long the door had been closed before propping it open and wedging something underneath it to keep it in place. He let his eyes adjust to the shadow y light inside, the motes of dust drifting in the air as a swift breeze came through the opening and stirred them to life. He smiled to himself as his eyes came to rest on what was probably a hunting shop at one time, realizing that he had hit the mother load.
