A way the roots holds in a flower

OOC: Sorry, was talking to Lin about this and was playing Bayonetta. Pendzez is also in this post and the next post, but will be counted as a Flayra post.

Flayra walked through the numerous trees, with Pendzez by her side. Pendzez was escorting her to the his cabin so she could see her new niece and nephews that Pendzez has informed her of. It might also be a good time for the girl to catch up with Xeris, since it has been a while since they last met. Pendzez walked by the girl's side so she doesn't wonder off. The girl knew that she probably wasn't allowed inside the lands, but she was with a member, so she as maybe in the clear, at least for now.

Arriving at the small cabin, the girl's brother opened the door, standing under the door frame. "Xeris. Little ones. You have a visitor." Pendzez moved away from the door frame. Flayra moved up to the door, stopping when she saw Xeris and the pups. "Hello, Xeris," she said in a calm matter.

Xeris had spent the morning explaining to the pups what had been happening in the 'Souls lands recently. It was a difficult topic, but her children--particularly the boys--just wouldn't take no for an answer. So she told them what she knew about the war, though this was admittedly very little. Inferni's conflicts with Phoenix Valley got a brief mention, but she wasn't going to bring up her fight with Kaena. The children would learn about that someday, but now was not the time.

Her ears perked forward upon the sound of footsteps outside the door. The pups stirred excitedly as the door opened and Pendzez entered--to Xeris' surprise, he was with someone else, who she soon recognized as his sister Flayra. The children greeted their father with playful yips, while Xeris turned to the other white wolfess. "Flayra," she began, "It's good to see you again. I hope you've been well." Her attention turned back to the young ones at her feet for a moment. "Children," she told them, "This is your aunt Flayra. She has come to visit and meet you. Why don't you introduce yourselves?" Six tiny eyes focused upward on the other white wolfess in silence for a moment, before the little voices piped up. "Carwyn!" "Delwyn!" "Xion!" A smile came to Xeris' face at the excitement of her children, and she looked to Pendzez for a moment before returning her gaze to Flayra. "So, how are things in Crimson Dreams?"

Flayra smiled as she took a brief bow before Xeris and when she looked down at the three pups before her. At the sight of the young ones, she saw they were beautiful beings. Pendzez and Xeris had done a good job in making them. She returned her gaze to Xeris. "I am doing fine. Thank you for asking. I just all is well here?" she spoke as she moved inside sitting in a free chair.

Pendzez saw that he was no longer needed for now, so when back to his duties. "Well, I must tend to my duties. I will be back later today. See you two later and I will definitly be seeing you three later today. You all be good now." he said as he went over and gave Xeris a little kiss on the forehead and one to his pups and walked out.

Flayra watched as her brother said his good-byes and went back to his duties for the day. Flayra returned her gaze to the pups as they told her their names. "Nice to meet you all," he said smiling upon the three. She looked up at Xeris when she was asked about Crimson Dreams. "Things have been a bit different ever since the news about the war, but all in all things have been working out. No mishaps, but we're being cautious." Flayra did not predict how the war will go or how far it will come, but everyone will have to be ready for if it does reach out to Crimson Dreams. "What about here in Phoenix Valley?

really sorry for the wait, I've been sick/without inspiration for several days

Xeris smiled as the other white female reported that she was doing well and went to sit down. She herself joined Flayra in sitting down, taking the chair next to her; the children gathered around as if expecting to hear a story of some sort. "I'm doing all right. Lots of things going on, you know?" And it was true, there was quite a bit of tension and business now that there was a nearby war going on. The white-furred woman smiled at her mate as he said goodbye. "Goodbye, Pendzez," she replied. "I'm sure we'll be fine." The children looked up to their father and piped up, "Bye Dad!" almost in unison.

Soon he had left, and Flayra began to discuss Crimson Dreams and the war. "Jefferson has told us to stay as uninvolved as possible," Xeris replied. "I'm hoping things will stay that way. The last thing our family needs is a close encounter with war." She cast her gaze down toward the three pups as she said this; they were looking at her with wide eyes, remaining quiet though surely with many thoughts going through their heads. "I've been put on the duty of watching after all of the young ones in the pack. My children and also Naniko's, I'm not sure if you know her. I'm just thankful that we'll be able to stay here where it's at least relatively safe."

Pendzez smiled at his children and his mate as he began for the door, stepping past his sister, patting her on the shoulder a feww times before walking out the door, closing it behind him to keep the warmth inside.

Flayra saw her brother off, smiling in return. She then turned back to Xeris as the white wolfess explained the situation about the war and what the leader of Phoenix Valley told them to do. Flayra felt opposed to the whole war, even though it involved a pack of wolf haters, but not all coyotes are bad. "At least the leader knows what actions to take when something like this pops up. War is unacceptable from my perspective."

The girl then looked down as one of the pups, which she knew was Carwyn, came over to investigate the light gray wolfess that was his aunt, his body touching her leg as he came close. The girl smiled as she reached down and petted the little pup, Carwyn accepting it. Her ears then perked up when she heard Naniko's name. This was where the former leader came to? "Naniko's here?"
