[MaMa] The Only One

It had been hard breaking his ties to Aro. He cared about Elody, the center of his entire world. It had still taken a lot of time before he stopped worrying over Aro being harmed when he wasn't there. Elody replaced him, Raoth's fierce devotion and protection transferring over to his mate. Every time that he could he was there for her. She'd even helped him find a way to speak. No more did he struggle with just being understood. True, it was a private language just for the two of them, but it was still something.

Moving closer to her slim frame Raoth smiled. He wasn't exactly heavily built either, but compared to her he was buff. He hadn't stopped being a warrior, muscles clear over his frame. Touching her gently to get her attention he began to rapidly sign to her. I'm going to get something to eat. What do you want? If she asked him for a bear he'd probably do his best to take one down for her. Usually it was just rabbits and deer, but even the other requests, such as eggs or sheep were fulfilled.

Still the lithe girl had everything to be thankful for the gift the world had so perfectly given her, and in this case it had chanced to show itself as the mute coyote man in which she adored so greatly. She could remember their firsts, kisses...And even just the first thought she had given. Wow Ellie was blind to his muteness, they still spoke. They still could communicate as if his voice had never left.

She stood there, half slouched and comfortably sharpening one of her knives, content with her life path. Large ears could already tell what was coming, and the soft graze of touch to her shoulder had her turning around, slipping the knife back in its place. Already, Elody was smiling, watching his hands and fingers give her their personal language. The young woman had not been one to demand much from her grey lover, and this time, she spoke softly, tangling herself into his muscular body. Maybe just something small....But--Can we hunt together? Kissing his nose, Ellie was close to forgetting how to breathe, moving a couple of steps away to cross her slim arms thoughtfully. It'd be nice to do something together.

OOCConfusedhort...My friend was staring over my shoulder for a long time.... xP

The knives earned no more than a passing glance from the coyote. They both fought with such weapons, though Elody far surpassed him in grace for using them. Raoth's style still reflected the rough brawling way that he'd first been introduced to the life, doing anything he could to win no matter how ugly. Elody was already turning around as he spoke, large ears trained on him despite how silent he was. A large smile covered his face, gentleness sparking in his hardened eyes. Life wasn't always a battle.

Raoth nuzzled into her frame deeply breathing in her scent. It was nice to be able to hold her soft warm figure and feel her melt into him. At times he was afraid it was a dream, that she'd just be swallowed up. She was just too perfect. Sometimes. Nodding his head Raoth checked his own knives. He lifted his head to scent the air before stepping back over to Elody. There's a lemming's nest nearby. We could stuff ourselves on those. Lemmings were so stupid, just lining up to be eaten.
