Entries

1. Name: Weeping Lake
Description: Along the western shore of this long lake Weeping Willows grow close to the edge, trailing leaves in the water and creating shady areas to relax. An old human cottage, broken down and overgrown, can be found if one snoops around in the undergrowth, along with the remains of a jetty. The eastern shore is dominated by dead trees killed by some unknown blight, giving the peaceful setting a somewhat eerie feel.

2. Name: Esther Island
Description: A rocky island just north of Whisper Beach, marking the inner edges of the Bay of Fundy. The island is dominated by imposing sea cliffs and rough tides to the northeast, creating a dangerous area for boats or swimmers. To the southwest the approach is more hospitable, with smaller cliffs, rocky slopes leading down to the sea and several sheltered bays. The interior of the island is as rocky as its exterior, featuring many miniature mountains and ravines. The center of the island hosts a small patch of woodland; not enough to support land based wildlife but enough to provide a home to various birds. Between these and the various seagulls, hawks and such that inhabit the cliffs unmolested Esther Island is somewhat of a bird sanctuary, inhabited year round by some form of avian in large numbers.

3. Name: Tjistol Portlight
Description: An old human lighthouse, crumbling and overgrown with various hanging plant life, sitting on a rocky outcrop connected to the northeast face of Esther Island. While the insides of the tower and the living area attached to it are gutted, the structure is sound. Access is difficult the bridge connecting it to Esther Island has long since collapsed making entry difficult for those who are not skilled swimmers and climbers. A family of golden eagles have made their home in the very top of the tower and make a habit of attacking anyone trying to disturb their home.

4. Name: Twisted Grove
Description:
There is a part of the forest where almost no light manages to get through. The undergrowth is thick, tangling up those who would attempt to pass through. The trees have grown twisted as they compete for the few beams of sun that sink through. A slight dew usually covers the ground. In this part, a small group of elk can sometimes be spotted.

5. Name: Mirage Glade
Description: Mirage Glade is located by a pool of water at the edge of the forests that cover much of Casa’s territory. With a mixture of thick forest to hide in, open fields to run in and plentiful fresh water the area has become home to a small herd of wild horses. Several of the herd's larger stallions are aggressive and territorial but for the most part the pack is skittish and elusive, and to catch more than faint glimpses of them through the trees is rare. Often the horses seem like mirages, visible out of the corner of your eye but gone when you turn to look, which gives the glade its name.

6. Name: Sea of Grass
Description: The section of land comprising the Sea of Grass consists of a series of large flat fields, with several wide, rolling hills giving the landscape an almost wavelike feeling and adding to its name. The fields are covered in long, thick grass almost up to the waist of an average sized Luperci. When one is in one of the lower, flat sections of the sea it can almost seem as though the grass extends out endlessly in every direction, though perching on top of a hill reveals a good view of the surrounding settlements and the dune filled beaches that the Sea fades into. Rabbits and other small game are plentiful in the Sea of Grass, especially around the small ponds which provide much of the fresh water in the area. To the eastern edge of the Sea old dirt roads and broken down human buildings can be found, old rural outskirts of Windsor.
