Alyssum's tail wagged fiercely behind her as she trotted down the streets of Kingsbury, crossing between the houses at times on her way back to courthouse. The reason for her excitement was clear; a rather plump and furry rabbit dangled from her jaw by its stuff, limp in her grip. It had seemed that her hunting by herself without the aid of her friend was going swimmingly; she had managed to track and capture a fast-footed animal without the magpie's eyes or her bow, both which she heavily relied on. It had felt strange to hunt in lupus form, since she preferred her two legs, but it was a nice change of pace.

"Caught fat rabbit have Aly?" Speaking of the feathered devil, Macbeth fluttered down from above and lightly onto her shoulders, shiny eyes trailed on the prey in her muzzle. "Sure did!" she replied back, though her words were muffled and distorted by the rabbit's fur. "It was not easy, but I did it." The bird gave a sort of noise that was akin to a sigh, ruffling his black and white feathers.

"Done bragging? Macbeth saw new wolves today while Aly hunts. Maybe new Casa members. Or maybe visiting wolves like Arte." She blinked at his news, but while it somewhat surprised her, she was nonetheless happy to hear that some others were there. "One is in Fort. Not far." "Really now?" she asked him, which he replied with a bob of his head. Alyssum tried to scent where he was, but the rabbit blocked the smells aroud her, and ended up wandering the streets, looking for someone she did not know.

After a couple of moments, and not coming across a fresh trail, she sighed and slumped down onto her haunches near an empty shop in the town square. Deciding that whoever it was probably already left the Fort, she set down her rabbit, and began to eat it, taking little bites from it. Often, she picked off a tiny piece with her teeth and tossed it off to the side, which Macbeth grabbed with his beak and swallowed them down.

[html]

Word Count :: 373 OOC: could we date this sometime on the July 1st? :) would help with the timeline hehe

Everything was absolutely overwhelming, though in a good way. Jiva was not afraid of the stuff he knew his New Dawn friends would be intimidated by, but perhaps this was because he grew up with stuff like this. But this fort, it was entirely new to him and he was having so much fun just checking things out. Because he was with Titania and he felt he was better protection for her he was in his more commonly used lupus form. His main reason for staying in optime for so long was because of his mate Palaydrian was stuck in hers and he wanted her to feel comfortable. By now he was sure she could change. His tail rose up high above his whole body and curled in with the unmistakable trademark of a husky. His nose was to the ground and he was sniffing at every little thing he could find.

That was until he smelled fresh blood. The blood of prey. Jiva’s head lifted up and sniffed the air. It had been here before... was it an injured animal looking for a place to quietly die? Well he could help it out a little and perhaps have a snack of his own. When he got closer, however he started smelling the wolf mingling in with it, though he should have smelled it far sooner but the scent of blood had excited him. Upon finding the rabbit he also found the animal that had killed it.

“Well met friend. I did not know the rabbit already had an owner.”

Jiva laughed. He was in high spirits because he had thought of a gift he could get his New Dawn family. It was something that couldn’t be just given out right and it had come to his head after he met that vixen who tried to sleep with him. He was not going to let any of that put a damper in his mood. His tail wagged and he knew he was allowed around here, though if he was allowed in this particular spot was beyond him but he would find out and either be chased away or askd to leave. He hoped it was the latter.

Both coywolf and bird were to busy eating, and the cloud of prey scent surrounding them, neither of them noticed the canine until he spoke. She bit down on now a bone that she was gnawing on in surprise, easily cracking it. With perked ears, she looked up to see an unfamiliar male, but after the shock dimmed down, her tail whipped along with his. "Greetings. And yes, you came a bit too late... If you want, you can have a couple of bites of it, if you are hungry." She did not like it when she ate in front of others unless they were munching on something as well, and also did not want the other to feel disappointed for tracking a rabbit all over the place only to find it already caught. She knew that feeling all too well.

<p"Wolf Macbeth saw," the magpie chirped as he inspected the him from Alyssum's back, beady eyes watching him closely. The woman blinked at the bird, and again tried to scent the air around her. Through the strong smell of rabbit and bird, she could detect the faintest hints of another pack, and it was slightly familiar. She remembered passing by it a few days before she joined Casa. "How are you enjoying Casa so far, friend?" she asked kindly, knowing that he must have been a welcomed guest by Jazper and felt the need to be friendly.

"In any case, my name is Alyssum de Fonte, a Verita," She stated as she introduced herself, and flicked her ears towards the bird as she continued,"And that is Macbeth. He said he saw some wolves earlier--other New Dawn members are here, aren't there?" She wondered if they were looking for help, or perhaps for an alliance. Or, they could be just visiting. Whatever the case, she wanted he and the others to feel welcome, whatever they were there for.

He was in his own way disappointed that the animal was already killed but he should have known that from the scent when he got closer. The woman must have been carrying it here for some reason. Jiva gave a confident smile and nodded. If she was willing to give up a little bit Jiva wouldn’t mind a snack of his own.

“Why thank you I wouldn’t mind a nibble since you offered.”

Jiva said then looked at her companion. A pure black bird and eyed it with slight interest. It was too bad Tobias chose to stay home or he could have a little fun with the strange looking bird, though he was a bit taken aback when the animal started speaking and Jiva could understand him. Though the woman who had been eating distracted Jiva

“It is very nice so far. I love some of the places you have here. There’s so much to explore. It makes me sad I won’t be able to see it all before I have to leave.”

Jiva complimented. He meant every word even if he was just trying to be polite. He was an exploratory wolf, which meant he would try to get into everything even the tiniest of drawers to see what was inside of them.

“Ah, I am so sorry, I should have introduced myself. My name is Jiva Takekuro. I am escorting my cousin to see her sister here. To make sure she’s ok during the trip. As for any others I’m not sure if there are. All I know is that I came with Titania Moonsong alone.”

He said, he wasn’t going to mention the main reason he was here was because at the time she thought she was pregnant but it had turned out to be somehow false that whatever had been in her belly wasn’t puppies at all but all coming from her mind. The sadness his cousin showed was harsh on him as he loved her very much both as family and his pack leader and she tried to stay strong ever since hearing about it.

(430) derpy derp.

Alyssum grinned when the male smiled when she gave her offer, and her tail waved behind her as he accepted it as well. While she tore apart the rabbit as neatly and evenly as possible, awkwardly gripping it with her paws at different angles, she did not notice the slight exchange between him and the magpie. Macbeth spotted the man's shock easily, and his already shiny gaze seemed to gleam even brighter. He fluttered off from his companion's back and took a few steps closer to the stranger, though he kepthis usual distance he held with those he never met before. It seemed that he was inspecting him, as if trying to see what he would do next.

The coywolf finally tore off a good hunk of the rabbit and tossed it over to the other as he spoke about his time in Casa. She was glad to hear that he was enjoying his time, and even ventured to state,"If you ever find the time, you could always come back whenever you are able and look around a bit more." But, she knew how busy duties could be, and there was rarely a long enough break to be able to have a prolong visit to a far away pack, yet she meant her offer. "And Macbeth could show wolf good places. Hunting best in certain woods, could show later." His offer was also heart felt, but he was also mildly interested in his reaction to his speaking again.

The de Fonte perked up when he mentioned her name and his reasons for being there, and was a bit interested when he spoke of escorting his relative to see their sibling. She tried to recall anyone that she knew that had family in New Dawn, but she did not have the foggiest idea at first. But, then it came to her. "Ah, Moonsong? Then perhaps she's visiting the Juliet girl," she stated outlook, more for her own benefit than for anything else. She mulled over it for a moment, but did not think long about it before jumping to the next topic.

"I suppose there was no trouble getting Titania here safely, no? I could imagine she's save in your paws,'" she inquired and added, wondering if he found the distance between their two packs fearful. To her, it wasn't that bad, but it was coming from someone who had experienced traveling and was well versed in defense. Her last statement was almost like a silent prompt, as if she was asking if he felt the way she thought.

[html]

Word Count :: 360 OOC: wewt!!! REPLY FOR YOU :P

Jiva lived with a hawk and use to live with an eagle, both of which understood high speech but could never speak it and though Jiva could understand low speech he knew the differences in it so hearing the raven speaking in high speech and quite fluently enough for the young man to stare at him with a kind of awed look. He was glad, however, when he got the meat to enjoy, he lowed himself down to savor the taste that the rabbit gave in his mouth as the other woman spoke.

“I would gladly if it weren’t so far away. Maybe someday I’ll come again with my mate and we can see more of it, I’m sure she would be awed by the buildings alone.”

He said. The crow spoke of shwoing him the best places and Jiva knew that Niro would be split in two if he saw the black creature with a luperci and talking. Oh that would be a laugh because he knew Niro had differences with the scavengers as well as the sea birds. He apparently didn’t like all birds. Jiva had no bias’ against these creatures and was quite interested in what more it had to say.

“Yes she is visiting Juliet, I think it has been a while since they saw each other and even longer since I saw Juliet myself.

He said smiling at the woman who showed interest in who they were visiting, though his smile slightly faded at her mention of Titania being safe in his paws and he gave the best wolf shrug he could.

“I think she would be far better at protecting ME than anything else.”

He said a little abashed but he couldn’t lie to her. He was protective but he was no fighter and it showed in his form. He was muscular, but he was built a runner not a fighter. It was true that he felt exposed and wary the further he got away from his pack but he would not openly say something like that to a total stranger.
