Can you Feel it?
Things are changing. Can you see it?

The man had been a busy bee, trying to get his house finished, beautiful looking and well put together so that he could feel good about his residence. He'd always did have a thing about having a nice place to live in since he had been living inside of these human structures (fixed up by his parents, sometimes his older half-siblings that knew what to do when it came to these things.) and he had always been the one who had to make sure that it was clean in the house, make sure things were out of the way, and put away if misplaced. He would have been like this by himself when he lived in Los Angeles for the amount of time that he did. He'd had a nice house there, very big and pretty. Why he'd even leave that behind was a mystery to him. Well, not not really... He left not only to find his father but to also put more of a distance between himself and his mother and half siblings on his mother's side. They all held the same trait, being a complete asshole to Mars for no other reason than the fact that he was different from them.

Mars had been 'sleeping' when his father had come by, dropped a note at the bastard's door and then left. The steel eyed man had noticed the scent, but it was just the fact that Mars, the son of the Rurik Russo man had not been present, instead, it was Bartholomew, who took the name of their mother, this being Cubbins. Bartholomew was the part of Mars that held spite over the fact that he had been left with the mother to be tortured like he was. Mars did not blame the other man, and ultimately accepted him as father. Bartholomew was awake, heard the knock and everything, but simply just stared out of the upstairs window where his room was. He waited for the man to leave before he'd continue doing whatever he had been doing (I believe it was along the lines of him reading a book on how to grow wheat like his mother had done in California) and he had eventually grew tired, bored and restless. He got up from his chair, sunglasses hugging his face as he closed his book and he had made his way down stairs. He'd walk over to the door and then grab the note from between the door and the floor. Bartholomew did not care what the note said, and therefore, he didn't even read it. He put it on the old broken piano that Mars had been working on fixing up and trusted that Mars would find it later.

Bartholomew had then gone out, pencil and paper carried along with him as he left the house. He's grab Vox and mount the steed and leave the proximity of the house to go look for a good plot of land for him to perhaps start making a field for wheat. Within a few minutes of riding through Lunenberg, he had made it out to a few plots of vacant land. He looked around and took an estimate of how large he was to be planting in, and how much work it would take to clear the land. He was lucky to have a horse, like the book said, but he didn't have this "horse-hoe" that the humans spoke about in the book that he had been reading. It did have a diagram, but again, Bartholomew and Mars were no construction men. They could do simple things like repair a stair or so, not necessarily building things from drawings, though he could make things from drawings if it consisted of him sewing some piece of fabric to another. He was beast at doing that. He needed to figure out how to make this damn hoe....

WC: --- OOC: Predated Oct 20th ^^

Niro was deep in thought himself, life was crazy right now, but he had to get back into the groove of things, he had to worry about training again, he wanted to get out and start messanger birds. It wouldn’t be hard to catch the docile ones, though he was wondering if he’d catch pidgeons or owls. Maybe both, he was quite deep in thought that he hardly knew where he was headed, he only saw his surrounding when he finally saw someone moving about. He was in a spot he didn’t normally go, mostly because it was quite vacant, he may have passed by once or twice but that was about it. He saw the movement again and saw the horse before he saw Mars. It looked like the wolf was contemplating something.

curious Niro moved towards the Russian, hobbling more like it, his leg was still broken and with his change had probably made it so that it wouldn’t heal as well. He didn’t care though he had to be in his optime form, and if anything he could always learn to hunt with two legs rather than one. It wasn’t what was on his mind now, he wanted to see if Mars needed help.

Hello Mars, do you need help with anything?

He had so much on his mind lately what with Amaranth, and then his talk the day before with Haven, and worst of all the leaving of his sister, who'd found herself another pack, even though she'd led him to this one in the first place, with someone he didn't even know... He just wanted to immerse himself in something, and it seemed that Mars might have something Niro could immerse himself into.

OOC: oh gawd this is a great table. <3

And when the Darkness sees the light
We will begin dancing again tonight.

The American wolfdog had been sitting on top of his steed, whom stood in that same spot for a good few minutes, thinking about the plot of land he would be wanting to hoe up to find some seeds to grow wheat. He knew that there that to be wheat fields somewhere out here, and he would be determined to find them later on. He'd been sitting there in silence though, this being one of the things that the American was known for, this being one of those things that he often did, and was found doing. The tri-colored wolven had let out a small sigh, and when he inhaled back in, a scent was quick to infiltrate his nose. If this had not been Bartholomew and it had been Mars, the man would have quickly known the scent. Bartholomew had never met this Niro Takekuro that would be approaching him, the mohawked man stopped walking towards him a little bit away, and Bartholomew's icy blue eyes (that matched the Russo clan's ice blue eyes) pinned on the other man through those sunglasses.

Niro would speak to Bartholomew right off, starting with a "Hey Mars", which had lost Bartholomew's interest right away. Bart was tempted to just walk away from the other man, but Bart happened to be the nicer of the two personalities, and didn't really find it in his heart to just ignore the man like Mars might have done. The thing about it though was that Bartholomew was not going to let Niro walk around calling him "Mars", this was for damn sure. Bartholomew snorted and then looked over to the man, the tri-colored being taking in the sight of the white male that he did not know, but apparently, Mars had known him. Bart lazily looked at the man though, just looking at him before he would finally open his mouth to actually speak. Mars? the man would ask, a mismatched black ear pulling back on his head, a confused look passing over his face. I know not of a "Mars" person. My name is Bartholomew Cubbins. the man would speak to the silver pelted man, the looks he seemed to give were genuine, but then again, Mars had been a very good actor, so it could have been taken it that way.

Bartholomew cocked his head to the right, and cocked a pierced brow, respectfully placed there by Mars' father, Rurik Russo as he looked at the other. Who are you, sir? he asked simply.

OOC: blah post isn’t the best ; ; and i do love that table too!!

Niro was entirely confused now, wasn’t this the wolf that had hunted with him? Or was his memory faulty, he could have sworn that he’d called himself Mars when they had met. He blinked, dumbfounded, trying to see if this was a prank, though he wasn’t sure, he was not always good at reading wolve’s faces and it seemed this one was rather confused as well, and then it seemed that the wolf had never even met Niro before. He’d asked for his name. he was sure he’d met him, but it seemed this wolf had not met him, maybe it was one of the same look? He knew there were many Russo’s. he decided to play along at least, though he was trying to work things out in his mind.

I’m Niro Takekuro, I could have swore we met in the last pack hunt though.

He remarked, watching the other wolf to see if he would recognize now, he could understand that the would may have forgotten his name, but to have a totally different one of his own? Well that was completely difernt, he thought the wolf was having a good laugh right now though as Niro didn’t know how to deal with the likes.
