Merry Secret Santa! ♥ Nuki

OOC: Big Grin Here you are, Gen! Silvano's got a lot to look at. xD

Backdated to November 17th.

The day was waning upon the yearling gypsy, the faint tendrils of dusk creeping up the backdrop of the horizon. She was off and about a decent distance from the Chien Hotel, traveling no farther than a day's walk from the creaky building. Alaine had gone off to search for Caillen, and left Sylvie there alone- the yearling wasn't able to stand sitting around alone too long- the old dilapidated Hotel dredged up more memories than she anted to face by herself. Tendrils of cool prods playfully grabbed at soft limbs and tattered bandanna, wisps of mute ancients dancing past folded ears. Mane was wild and untamed in the breeze, spiky yet fluffy soft as it trailed from the base of her ears to her shoulders and chest, bangs tamed and smooth, carefully woven sunshine gradienting from light lilac base to white tipped glows. Deep violet gems glittered and laughed at the scenery before them, calling to setting sun with whispers of wonder and thought.

The last time Sylvie had seen the bruised sky above in this manner, she had been considerably younger. The colors of the streaked sky reflected onto the glassy lake below as if the heavens were unsure of their beauty, the gently twisted swirls of reds, blues, and golds a display that even they had to witness. Rabbit lake this place was called, a name Sylvie had heard before, a place she had visited only once previously. Crimson Dreams territory housed the lovely mirror of liquid, but Sylvie no longer worried about crossing these borders. The last time she had, she was met with Colibri, a sweet, if quiet, wolf. So once again, she traipsed about the lake with a dancer's moves, illustrating her emotion along the banks of cool life force.

Dancing over the soft grasses of Rabbit Lake was a child abandoned before she could grow, heart torn out by her own mother only to be mended by a saving angel with pains like her own. Sylvie had grown considerably after her adventures with Alaine and Caillen, and those without as well. Her dance slowed to a walk, one hand gracing the back of fluffy neck, fingertips tracing the scars hidden by her kit-like fur. After a moment, the other alabaster dipped arm rose to interlock with the other while amethyst gems locked on the world before her, far away from what was immediately in front of her.

A warren of rabbits dashed from sight as she padded past them, arms up behind her head, accenting pert breasts and slender form, while graceful, dancer-like gait simply added to the exotic appeal of the retiring gypsy. No more would she travel continuously- she would leave for a day and return to her 'home', the Hotel belonging to a pack she did not herself. As it were, Sylvie was on her way out, having spent a good portion of the day there. It was nearly time for her to return to the Chien Hotel, where she wondered if Alaine would be waiting. Her mother's trip out following Caillen's scent had been a surprise, but a good thing overall. The cream and white shea needed to get out of the pain surrounding her in the Chien Hotel... and the best way to do that, Sylvie had learned, was to go for a long, lost-like walk. This of course, was no different.

Silvano would be the first one to admit he did not like people, or more like many people. He did not mind them, but he did not enjoy being surrounded by noise; it bothered him. He liked the silence of nature, of the quiet that came with it. His sister, Artemis, had been enough of a noise maker for him to deal with. Anything worse than her, he would simply not deal with. It gave him a sort of superiority complex, thinking that he could not deal with many people because he could just not handle them. As the second son of the leader of the Dreamers, it didn't help things much. He was very much a victim of entitlement syndrome, though he had no qualms with getting things for himself.

But that was why he spent so much time on his own, roaming and roving. Silvano wanted to see the land that was his, his family's, his pack's. It was very pretty, especially in the winter. The lake near the mansion was particularly pretty, half frozen with thinning to no ice in the center of it, where the Canadian geese sometimes swam. But today he did not tempt fate by going out to the middle of the lake, choosing to follow the edge of it away from the mansion. Barren trees passed by as he slowly walked past them, ignoring the chattering of winter birds and the overhead honking of more geese fleeing the scene.

There was movement he saw out of the corner of his eye and the young male suddenly jutted behind a tree, heart pounding from the surprise. What was he supposed to be afraid of? This was his pack's land! He peered around the thick trunk, dark green eyes spotting an older female, moving about the lake. She was not of his pack, that much he could tell by sight and smell. But who was she? She was dancing so gracefully that he had to watch her move. She was.. pretty. But still, she was not a Dreamer, not like him. He stepped out behind the tree, slinking around it. "What are you doin' here?" he called, a good distance away from the lithe female.

OOC: :p Short is short. My apologies. <3

Sylvie paused in surprise at the calling voice, seeing no one in her immediate line of sight. What? Was she hearing things? Glancing around somewhat nervously, violet gems withdrawn into dilated pupils. After a moment of looking, she finally spied a young male, likely a wolf, stalking out from behind a tree a decent distance away. She blinked a few times to make sure she wasn't seeing things. He was dark in shade, likely a deep earthy mahogany or chocolate, with mottled similarly colored hair. He wore a scarf like she did, but his was of sky blues and ivory whites, almost reminiscent of a certain wolfdog she once knew.

Curling slender alabaster fingers together, Sylvie clasped her hands behind her back and called in return to the fellow. He was likely nervous about an obviously non-Dreamer female walking about his territory. "My apologies, young monsieur, I did not mean to intrude. I was simply visiting... I made a friend here once. Colibri Haki... and I wished to take a walk around the lake." She smiled disarmingly, lilting french accent sure to help the fellow relax before it made him attack her. "It's just as lovely as I remembered." She said absently, casting a faraway gaze over Rabbit Lake, a moment passing as she gazed upon the wavering shades of gold and blue mirrored on the glassy surface. She turned again to watch the younger man, bowing in a quick, practiced flourish. She used to greet her audience in this manner, when she traveled as a gypsy... it seemed to provoke anticipation of what would come next.

"My name is Sylvie Ciel. What might yours be?" A simple introduction, heralded by a kind smiled before slender arms rose and folded before chilly body. A disadvantage to being a purebred dog was a coat that wasn't quite thick enough for the winter... and it was definitely getting into winter. If she didn't return to the Hotel before dark, it would be likely that the young gypsy would catch a cold, or worse. She snuggled her muzzle into her scarf then, awaiting the cute fellow's response. Perhaps he would come a little closer if she gave him some time...

sorry for delay, this like.. dropped off my radar

She did that thing that girls did when they wanted to get their way; look all innocent. But what could this lady want from him? She was on his lands, so he figured she wanted leniency and maybe another friendship to add to her belt since she had met Colibri already, even if Colibri had bee gone for a long time and all Silvano knew of her were stories. She had been her auntie's lover at some point, but had left Anu after their romance grew cold. There were so many experiences of women with women in his pack, like Cambria and Mati, that he did not even bat an eyelash at it. Though there had been no males with males in his pack, he was okay with that too. It was barely different from his sister and his aunt and he could hardly protest when they were happy. Nothing was wrong with it to him and it was probably as normal as his own parents being together.

Well, now that he thought of it, he was not on his pack lands, but off of them. But still! They were terribly close to it and he knew he had the right here. This woman would not do anything to him, not when he was clearly younger and significantly weaker. Though, the boy was getting proud of his growth; he was almost completely at an adult size, though he knew he had some growth to do. But he would never be as tall as some of the local breeds, even if his father was a tall one. Savina was a smaller breed, though she was no less intimidating. He hoped he could get like that, since he would probably do no real sprouting anymore. He was stuck at his height and he had to deal with it.

"O-oh, well then..," he stuttered, a little bit unsure what to say then. Just because he knew Anu's ex lover, did that mean she had free reign? No, no way. But at least she was still out of the pack lands. She introduced herself and the boy relaxed a bit. Now it was just a bit more casual. "I'm Silvano Sadira," he said, giving a hesitant smile. He took a few steps forward, still unsure of the woman before him. Plus he knew his face was growing warm from his mild embarrassment, for having skulked before. "Why did you want to walk around Rabbit Lake? Don't you have lakes in your own pack?" It never dawned on him that she had no pack, but he had never really encountered a loner before.
