Here you go! Hope it works!

Silvano was almost an adult in the pack and that meant he would just leave the packlands whenever the hell he wanted to. Not like his parents worried about him too much, or so he believed. They never went looking for him in a huff, and he had rarely gone further than the borders. He had never even gone to another pack! What were they supposed to worry about? Not him, for sure. Artemis for sure, but she looked for trouble like they used to look for adventure as kids. One day she'd hurt herself and it would be on all their heads for never discouraging her from her recklessness. But that was always just a passing thought, a passing fancy. Artemis was always good at what she did, and there was never anything to really fear. She was smart; she could survive anything.

But now, on a mindless walk, the Sadira youth strolled without a thought out of the pack lands. He followed the frozen beaches of the lake, crunching on frost and crushing dead stalks of lake weeds. It was cold out, but the boy had his scarf and he noticed nothing else aside from the cold tingle of his nose in the wind. Every huff of air out created a misty could before him, but his seeing but not seeing eyes simply glanced past it. Somehow, somehow he had wandered out past the limits of his home and perhaps toward the, presumably, raging sea.

He realized where he was when he was a good hour away from the lake and then even longer from the mansion. Silvano blinked his eyes as he tried to figure out where he was. Turning on his heels, the Sadira boy tried to figure out where he had just come from. Growling lightly, he rubbed his hands together before placing one on a tree and looking up the trunk. He was in no hurry to get back to being bored. So if he ought to be bored he ought to do it here. With a grunt of exertion, the boy hefted himself up the tree, to the first branch. Settling himself, he leaned against a very closely adjacent branch. Feet and tail dangling, the mottled Dreamer looked at the barren trees around him, mind disappearing into his dream state, thinking of flying.

I thought of every which way to get her involved, but this was what I came up with. ._.; Shi is so dense. +5

The young damsel found herself eating a handful of snow again - a sign that meant she had failed to wrap her claws around a red-backed vole. They were small, and where Shiloh stood in the short grass and snow that only raised up half an inch, it was clear that the female was going to need a different tactic. She'd be damned if she was going to hunt in her four-legged form again, someone would have to practically threaten her life for her to shift down.

Shiloh sat up and shook her head. With the vole gone, for now, the white female finally took note of her surroundings. She was far from the lake now, where she last took note of her location. But her hunger drove her further south, towards the sea, chasing several different voles just to nab a quick snack. It had become messier than it was to kill a small vole, though, with all the dirt and snow that became caked on her hands, muzzle, and all-around frame.

It became clear, in the female's cerulean eyes, that she was lost. At least, she didn't know where she was, Shiloh had never traveled these lands before. Around her, trees dotted the landscape, which was composed of rolling hills of soft white snow and frosty green grass. Standing up, now, she took the time to thoroughly clean herself of filth, though it wasn't the snow she minded as much as the dirt beneath it. "Hmph," she said to herself, her lips curling in a small pout. The growling in her stomach grew to new heights, though, and she rolled her eyes as if to complain to her hunger.

Her nose picked up the scent of the vole again, though, and immediately she hunkered down on her two legs, trying to see if she could see it at eye level. No matter how classy or pristine the female was, hunting was a sense she wanted to fight, but couldn't. It was a messy job, and unless someone was there to cook for her (much to her dismay), or if she had the means to start a fire herself, it would've made it more tolerable.
Shi caught sight of the little creature scuttling across a thin sheet of snow, and she darted after it. Her legs pumped with a fresh burst of speed as she ran for it, her cloak billowing behind her, eyes following the creature as it darted behind a large tree. Shiloh had poised herself to make a jump for it, but what she saw instead made her gasp and almost instantly throw up a lunch that never was.

The feet and tail of what looked like a wolf hung lazily from a tree branch. Though she couldn't really see much else behind the snow-caked leaves, the damsel was shocked. They didn't move, at least from where she could see them, and so Shi immediately thought there was a body, possibly dead, up in the tree. All the white female could manage was a scream, but it was cut short as a small gust of cold wind whipped through the hills, and it, too, took Shiloh by surprise. Wrapping her cloak tighter around herself, she shivered, though it wasn't just the cold that caused it. "Oh no, oh goodness.. oh.." She mumbled, not really believing what she was seeing before her eyes. Had anything actually been in the female's stomach, it would have been tossed up then and there.

No she's cute! I liked it! I didn't really make it easy for you.

Birds had wings, so that meant they could fly. And they did, away from the cold that came when the world turned. Silvano had seen flocks of birds migrate away from the lands, flying away from them all. Once or twice, he had eaten bird cooked and uncooked and they were so delightful to eat. But now, all that remained were the few geese and the occasional owl hooting in the night. But what about bats? They weren't birds but they had wings to fly with. Just as he had been thinking about what it would mean for a bird to fly blind, like a bat, he heard a noise that sounded a lot like feet on crunchy detritus. Snapping out of his reverie, the Dreamer glanced through the conifer's snow coated foliage, squinting to discern a figure not of his pack. He stilled his waving tail and legs, realizing all too late that they were easily visible beneath the boughs of the tree.

On the wind, her words came to him and he flattened his ears instantly in guilt. Whatever this girl thought of him, it was not something good, not from the way her words sounded to him. God, what if she thought that his legs and tail were disjointed? Or his body was bifurcated? Oh, god, that would be bad! It would not due! He had to clarify that he was an entire body in the tree! Pushing himself out of the tree, he fell to his legs. They gave way and he went down on his knees, landing with his chest on the snow. He probably scared the crap out of her, not moving for a good few seconds after his trip. He groaned for a moment, setting his arms up beside him, elbows jutting out. "Ow..," he grumbled, trying to push himself back up.

+3. Now this post screamed Shiloh. XD

The young female found herself pacing back and forth on the snow-covered ground, running hands through her hair in worry. What if someone saw her out there with the body hanging from the tree? She'd be called a murderer, despite her extreme need for being proper and being clean. Would that have only caused one to suspect her more, to make a clean get-away? Shiloh uttered small sounds of distress, but it never occurred to her to even get closer to the tree, to have seen what was really there.

Then the body suddenly fell from the tree, fully intact and.. alive! "Ahhh!" She screamed into the frost-bitten air, and the young female tripped over herself and fell to the ground, hard, in complete shock. Her eyes were wide in her head, her mouth slightly agape. There was an actual wolf in the tree, and he had scared her into thinking that he was dead! Her limbs were strewn about the earth, still looking on in complete and utter surprise.

Either Shiloh did not notice or seem to care that the wolf before her took a fall, and had possibly injured himself, but the white female found her voice. "How dare you scare me like that!" She said, blaming the stranger for her judgment. Shiloh moved her head to swing hair out of her face, though it only returned much to her dismay. "Made me think that there was somebody dead up there," she mumbled to him as she began to sit up, wiping snow that caked on her upper arms and chest. She looked at him with slight irritation, and fire in her eyes. "Well? Aren't you going to help me up?" Shiloh said, with complete seriousness in her voice. Never mind that he was still struggling to get up on his own two feet, but in her mind he felt as if he had to redeem himself, even though this encounter between them was their first.

Aw she's cute

Silvano groaned again, wondering why he was stupid enough to fall out of the tree rather than climb down it like a normal person. He heard the girl shriek and he could only fumble to push himself back up on wobbling arms. Setting himself back on his knees, he rubbed the snow off his chest, arms, and neck. It fell off in clumps, creating little white hills in the compressed snow before him. Just as he was about to even consider if the girl was okay, she said something almost rude and uncouth. How dare he? How dare he? Gosh, this girl was already infuriating him! The boy looked up at her, a look of disgust on his face. What! He just fell out of a forsaken tree and she had the gall - the gall! - to think about herself and how he was supposed to act the gentleman and help her up. "Oh I'm sorry. Here, let me finish making sure I didn't break my legs, thanks for asking, though," he answered in a huff, false guilt in his voice as he slowly, deliberately rose to his feet.

He took another few moments dusting off his legs, being almost painfully slow. Let her watch him for a while before he bothered moving over to help her. "And how dare I? How dare you?" began Silvano, crossing his arms across his chest, content to let her sit on the snow. "You assumed that all by yourself! Don't blame me because you're too much of a dummy to think that I was just quietly sitting up a tree!" he insulted, giving the girl a look through is narrowed eyes as he huffed. God, what an anger inducing girl. Who was she anyway? "Who are you anyway?" he asked, not even bothering to put out a hand to help her up. She deserved it, she did, for being so demanding and haughty and all manner of similar words!

The young damsel sat in the snow, fully expected to be helped up. What happened, however, caused her face to twist into shock, and a 'How dare I?' kind of look. She sneered at the male before her, suddenly, when he heard his words about broken bones. The female glanced at him, then the tree behind him, and settled back onto him again. "Hmph! Well excuse me for thinking you looked like someone strong enough not to break a limb from a small fall like that." Shiloh spoke with irritation in her voice, one cream-colored ear twitching with the same emotions that flashed through her cerulean eyes. Truthfully, she didn't know how hard or how high he had fallen from, but she wasn't going to question that now.

Not only did this male get sarcastic with her, but then the next few words that he spat were rude, uncalled for, and downright insulting! Shiloh's face became an expressive pout, narrowing her eyes slightly at the male in front of her, who then stood up and didn't look like he was going to move at all to help her. Hmph! Men. "Yeesh, you're certainly no gentleman.." Shi mumbled under her breath, letting her thoughts disappear into the frosty air instead of letting him hear it.

But knowing now that this male wasn't going to assist her at all, much to her dismay, Shiloh got up on her own two feet again. Like the male had done not moments, she too began to brush off ice that clumped in her fur, now in no rush. The female listened to the male's question, irritably, but didn't look up at him as she took extreme car to brush just about every damn little snowflake off of her. When she was through, she tightened the cloak around her once again, taking great care to fixing her hair.

Shiloh didn't say anything for a few moments after the male asked, no.. demanded, who she was, and when she looked at him, there was a fire in her sparkling blue eyes. "As if someone like you even deserves a proper response," she said instead of answering his question. "If anything, you should be telling me who you are, first. After all, you did just drop in on me." Shiloh smirked, enjoying her little joke for just a moment. Her actions mimicked the male's before her, as she too crossed her arms, awaiting a response.

sorry for delay, been hectiiiiicish

He huffed at the girl, furrowing his brows and pouting. She was so lying; she had thought he were a corpse or something! She never would have thought him strong enough to be okay on a fall if she thought he were dead. What an annoying brat! How dare she? Whoever it was that had taught her manners skipped several chapters in a hurry to finish up a shoddy job! Silvano could tell the girl was getting angry too, by the way her voice was changing and how her body language came out to him. Well good! She deserved every drop of the emotion, for being such an annoying person and then not even helping him up when he had fallen!

Suddenly, the mottled boy gave a barking laugh, rolling his eyes at Shiloh. "Why be a gentleman? I see no lady present!" he said, smirking at the girl with some smug satisfaction at his own jib. "Why, do you? Can you point out the lady so I can assist her?" he added, rather harshly as he demonstrated, putting his hands over his eyes and scanning the area dramatically. Obviously not seeing a soul, he gave an exaggerated shrug of the shoulders. "Nope! No lady!" Snickering, he recrossed his arms, looking very self-satisfied.

Silvano gave an indignant huff, sticking his nose in the air a tad. Rolling his eyes at her insults like the boy that he was, the Sadira gave a long drawn-out sigh. "Considering there are no ladies to go first, then maybe I will. Silvano," he finished simply, dark green eyes looking at her from his narrowed lids. She would win that little round, but Silvano was much, much more cleverer than her. Besides, he was closest to his home territory! He had the home field advantage. "So, who are you, Miss I-think-I'm-a-Lady-but-really-ain't." Oh, how he was trying to get her to get angry - or angrier. Whichever came first.

533 words. This somehow reminds me of a little boy who bullies a little girl. XDD

Her cream-colored ears twitched irritably, completely annoyed at this... not-gentleman male before her. He was the one who dropped in on her! And then didn't even offer to help her up, or apologize for scaring the living daylights out of her. Honestly, Shiloh wanted to know where this male was from, so she could... well... complain to someone about his behavior. She thought she scented several wolves on him, indicating he belonged in a pack someplace. This.. boy, had no right to be rude to her, and that was that.

Cerulean eyes widened in surprise as the male from a few feet away howled with laughter, which only caused the damsel's cheeks to grow redder with frustration. What he said about her not being a lady, however, completely set the white female off. Silently, her body shaking with rage, she watched as the male bullied her by hiding his face behind his hands and then opening them and looking around, like a game one would play with a pup. She sucked in a sharp breath, the air quite cold and stinging her throat, but when she barked her rebuttal, every inch of her felt hot with anger.

"I am Shiloh Dawnbringer, of the Stormbringer family! And I'll have you know that I have more class than you ever will in one claw!" She huffed, and nodded towards him as she finished off her bitter words, cerulean eyes ablaze as Shiloh stared daggers at him. The coat around her tightened as her arms crossed her fluffy white chest, her lips drawn thin upon her perfectly-groomed face. She hadn't met this stranger for but a few moments and already she was tired of his stupid voice, his stupid face, and his stupid, stupid.. head.

"Silvano," she briefly heard him say. Her eyes were now downcast in the light, fluffy snow that built up around her, having replaced what she shuffled around in her fall. Shiloh sighed loudly, through her nose, wrapping her hands around her coat as she noticed the light snow falling around her. She knew she had to calm down, a lady wasn't supposed to get angry and lose control. Her eyes were narrowed for a moment, then the fire in them relaxed, and so did the rest of her body follow. White shoulders, once tense, slumped down, knowing she wasn't going to get anywhere by arguing. Besides, it was childish, which Shi was no longer.

Lifting her muzzle back up, she stared at Silvano with a neutral expression, that conveyed neither hostility nor a happy-to-meet you look. Shiloh nodded, habitually pushing a lock of cream hair behind a same-colored ear. Clearing her throat, the young white female decided to be brave, as if doing something she didn't want to do, and took a step forward, her hand extended. "Charmed," was all she was able to say, her mind still running with what occurred not moments before. But if she weren't a lady, she wouldn't have settled it like one, and somehow she felt determined to prove this young male. Though she didn't have to whatsoever, in the back of her mind she wanted to hear that wonderful 'you proved me wrong' statement.

lol I know what you mean

Silvano snorted, wondering when the girl would get over her delusional mindset. More class than he? Puh-lease. At least there was no real slander against his family name, unlike those Dahlians. Okay, ignoring what his uncle Ehno had done, there was really nothing against the Marino's. The Marino family was high class, all the way from southern Europe, and what did the Stormbringer family have roots in? The muddy cold new world probably. There was the blood of the Italians in his veins and even with his father, he still had twice, if not thrice, the class of the pretty girl before him.

Sure she had her well balanced carriage and pose but that meant nothing, not when he was the sun of what was good enough to be the powers in the land. When ones parent led a large pack like his mother did, it was hard not to feel secure and rather high up on the social totem pole. So this Stormbringer could prattle on about her genes all she wanted, Silvano was far more high class than she could even imagine. Stupid girls. With their stupid girlness and girly ways of being girly. The Sadira boy did not even deign to answer her childish callings. She was just being a prissy girly girl.

The girl suddenly shut her mouth up and the boy looked at her oddly, wondering why she suddenly seemed to freeze up and cease talking. Didn't most girls like to talk? Artie liked to talk but Parker did not, but still. That was half the girls he knew and half of them liked to talk. So he assumed there was a fifty percent chance that this one liked to talk a lot too. She seemed to be clearing her head, or was she thinking of an insult so profound that it would knock him unconscious the moment he tried to figure out the real meaning behind it?

Shiloh looked up at him, all innocent and neutral. He narrowed his eyes at her, wondering what girl ploy she was trying to pull here. Suspicious, he watched her, almost taking a step back when she jutted out her hand for him. Confused, Silvano kind of just stared at the hand before him blankly, like a drowsy student looks to his books. He raised an eyebrow at her, giving her a look of equal blankness, though he was still very suspicious of her. Taking the hand, he shook it, firmly as he was taught by his father and uncles. "Pleasure," he said mildly, almost uninterested. "And what brings you so far from.. Dahlia?" he asked with a smirk on his face at her pack's name. Silly Dahlians, trying to be foreign.

613 words. This was longer than I expected o_o; Bailey's was an inspiration for me to finish, I guess XD.

Her eyes were still ablaze after she announced herself with pride, for herself and for her family's line. Though it upset Shiloh more whenever the stupid boy before her refused to say anything. Well, maybe she struck him speechless. Yes, that had to have been it. First impressions were everything, though, at least to her, and she wasn't about to get her fur ruffled by some stupid boy, anyways. At that moment, for all she cared he should have been dead up in that tree.

But she watched, and waited, as she took the more adult initiative to introduce herself a bit more.. properly. Cerulean eyes, once as vibrant and alive as the ocean at night, were a calm, steady sea as they looked at the boy. He seemed to look at her incredulously though, or as if she was trying to trick him, and she followed his gaze from her hand, back up to his face, and back to her hand again. One cream colored ear moved to the side, expressing a slight hint of irritation. What did he think she was going to do, bite his hand? As if - that was far too messy.

However, he did take it, although the shake was a bit more forceful than Shiloh imagined, and her lips formed a small round 'o' as she squeaked. The boy's voice, too, was stale, but not far from her tone of voice not moments ago. Perhaps it was indeed too late to make it up, as the female retracted her hand and let it grip her coat once more. Bright blue eyes stared up into the male's emerald ones, studying him as he directed a question at her in the frosted air.

The boy wasn't ugly, though Shiloh honestly couldn't see him as more than just a stupid headed boy at that moment. His russet hair was short cropped, and slightly messy, which nearly reminded the Dawnbringer female of a carrot top kind of look. The boy's face was still soft, yet his musculature and build told anyone that he was slowly growing into his own body. He had to have been no older than Shiloh herself, though she could only judge what she saw when she looked at how physically mature her own brothers were becoming.

Though the damsel wasn't all too sure what the smirk was for that crept up on his slate colored face, she ignored it for sake of her cheeks growing warm with frustration again. "So you do know my family, then," Shiloh said, almost matter-of-factly. Well why shouldn't he know the Stormbringer line? They were important for anyone to know, namely herself, being the only female of her generation. She quickly adjusted her hair once again, though she had done the same thing countless times since she discovered her Optime form. "To be perfectly honest," she began, looking past him and to the tree again, where he fell out of and the whole tiff began. "I was chasing down a little vole, near the river."

As she finished speaking, her eyes glanced around the hillside. Trees lightly dotted the area, but was nothing but rolling hillsides almost as far as the eye could see. Snow kissed each knoll and each tree, though traces of green still remained, looking like a fight between winter and spring. Of course, springtime was far from near. "..and.. chased it here..," she said, her thoughts trailing off with her voice. "Where are we, anyways?" There was a hint of worry in her voice, though her eyes still remained calm. Shiloh wasn't about to say she was lost, only that the vole made her lose her way.

really sorry about my delays :< It's... been kind of really hard to find muse for Silvano..

Silvano could not tell if she herself was getting warm, but he knew that he had slipped up. He had listened to his parents talk about others in other packs. And other people, and he had heard of the "-Bringer" family and all he knew was they were from Dahlia; it had been a lucky guess of his and he made himself seem so terribly clever. A bit smug about that, but still embarrassed at his mistake, the youth said nothing to contradict it or to correct her with the truth. Besides, what harm would it do? It just made him seem more in the loop instead of an eavesdropper. Truth be told, Silvano was most definitely an eavesdropper, but he was a good one; no one noticed a playing pup and felt at ease to tell others anything in their presence. But it was now much, much harder, considering he was almost an adult, almost a man. Emphasis on the almost. There was still so much growth left in his bones.

At last she told him what it was that she had been doing in the area, and he just raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms tightly across his chest. A.. vole? Really? How did she find a vole in the first place? And how had she managed to chase it so far, and still keep up with it? Clearly she lost it, since their little rendezvous probably gave the creature ample time to hide from the searching young lady. "River? Quale river?" the boy asked, accidentally interrupting his speech with his mother's native tongue. He had not meant to let the Italian slip, but it was as integral a part of his life that it just happened. He often mixed and matched it with his siblings, though he tried to stick to one or the other with anyone other than immediate family. With Jazper he almost never used Italian, taking it easy on the man who mated into the Marino tree.

Rolling his eyes, the boy turned about, confidence just dripping off him like water off an icicle on a warm winter day. That confidence slowly faded as he kept looking about. It looked kind of familiar, but he knew exactly which way it was home, back the way he came, where his footprints were. North? West? Northwestish? Uncrossing his arms the boy took a few steps to the side and then back. "I.. I don't know. Non lo so..," he added again, just letting his pretenses fall as he let his personality slip back into his speech. "I know how to get home but.. I don't.. really know where we are."

+3. It's alright, I haven't had muse at all lately. @_@;

The damsel's distress was building, and one ear swiveled as the male in front of her used a certain word in his questioning that she was not familiar with. Did he.. speak another language? Shiloh wasn't sure, and for the moment she did not care to know. All she wanted to know was where she was. The pristine female figured the male was from someplace, she smelled other wolves on him - a pack she herself did not recognize.

And when Shiloh turned her gaze on him again, instead of frantically moving her head from side to side and seeing nothing but rolling hills and sparse trees, she saw confidence slipping from his facial expression. Eyes widened slightly, not wanting to confront her worst fears. But when he said those words, ears flattened against her head. They were.. lost?! He didn't know where he was?! Boy this was irritating. Mouth slightly opened up in surprise, at a loss for words.

Sucking in a good amount of air, she turned away from him and behind her, where she thought she last was before the male fell out of the sky and scared her. "The river.. I don't know what river, I'm not from here!" She pouted, but then closed her eyes and shook her head once. "Where's.. home?" She inquired, almost desperate, just to gain her bearings once again. Arms crossed over themselves tighter, feeling the biting cold, and noticing the small snowflakes that drifted down onto her face. She couldn't understand why this male would venture out so far in a place that was foreign to him, then again she was doing the very same.

She wondered exactly how far his home was from here, and how long he was even there to not recognize the lands around him. Shiloh herself at least knew more or less what was surrounding Dahlia, though she was young and curious to see more. Briefly she figured that this male, not much different in age than she, was the same way. Still, they already weren't making good impressions on one another, but she would instill that trust in him to follow him back to his home, if it meant she could find her way back to hers.
