It is best to prepare

for Silvano, I can change things if you'd like. Wink

Winter was on its way.

Mati need distractions. Things between she and her mate hadn't been the same since the war, but she could not blame her beloved for being reclusive after the frightful happenings in the AniWaya territory. But, she felt it deep in her heart and from the heart it went straight to her mind. And in the mind it stewed. So she sought responsibility and problems to solve. The female had hunted, releasing aggression another form of therapy, and after preparing the meat she carried her small cache through the house. Purple eyes stared at the cellar door, her face displaying her unknowing. A hand went to the latch and then she stared down into the darkness.

Slowly she creaked down the steps, the darkness surrounding her. Her eyes were slow to adjust, day light to the pitch darkness almost blinding her. She found the floor, rabbits held high in her hands as it they were a guiding light. A candle would have been helpful. The thought ran through her head as she suddenly lost her balance.

Whoa, whoa whoa. She yelled as her arms waved in small circles in the fight to regain her balance. Ahhh! She screamed as she lost the battle and fell to the ground.

wee there we go c:

The library catalog was well on its way and Silvano felt that he had made enough progress along with the fiction titles to take a break from scribbling away at the rare journal he had managed to find under a pile of debris. There was already two pages with neat writing that dictated book name, title, and shelf it was to be held. The lines were small and there were a good twenty books a page, give or take. Next to the neat book, was a pile of homemade parchment with lots and lots of scribbles and cross outs. Those were the drafts, where the man tried to write as neatly as he could, or at least get the spelling right.

But Silvano wanted a break. So he took the second journal he found and grabbed another long charcoal stick. Somehow, his break would hardly be a break at all, with all the thoughts raging in his head. The weather was turning, and the man started to worry about their supply of meat. If they didn't have enough, everyone would have to deal with less meat. They would be weaker and that did not sit well with the Sadira.

He grabbed a candle from the library's stash, and lit it with some flint and steal. It gave off a warm, golden glow as he approached the cellar door, which he found to be open, he then heard a cry. It was familiar. He then heard a loud thump, and the man felt panic well up. Taking the stairs two at a time, he made it to the bottom and saw, in the light, that someone had fallen. Instantly, Silvano noticed it was his sister's lover. "Mati? Are you alright?" he cried, worried as he came to her.

sorry for the wait! i hope to faster now ^^

She blinked, looking up at the dark ceiling. Ughhh..., the sound escaping her mouth as she tried to sit up and then stand. A voice was heard in the dim light of her natural night time vision. She nodded first, the wind still knocked out of her slightly. But her nodding lied. She was not alright. A bit of anger welling inside, bursting slightly as she got off the dusty ground. This place is a mess. She said abruptly. Her eyes had adjusted and with the help of Silvano's candle she could see that it had been a basket of roots that she had tripped over. Who had done this? She wondered. Was it one of her brothers? The blame was easily slighted towards the young siblings.

I just wanted to do my part, and I get attacked. She said with frustration. The female could be agitated easily when in moods such as today, and the storage cellar had done the job well. Mati picked up the bundles of meat that she had once wished to store for the pack, but now she felt the urge to throw it across the room and add to the jumbles of things that pack members had collected without cataloging. Who even knew if these things were still viable!
