Sidra had been thinking a considerable amount about going to Casa di Cavalieri to check it out ever since Aro tried to talk her into it. He was the first male she'd given her trust too since she came to Nova Scotia. If Casa needed strong women, then they needed Sidra and she was convinced that her skill would be a grand asset to them. She had the strong urge to prove her worth, even if it be to a stranger. In this area, Sidra could pick up traces of other wolves. Casa wolves, or so Kativa told her. So, maybe she could find others and speak with them about the pack she may join. Her methods for getting information out of strangers, wasn't always the nicest.

Sidra had stumbled upon the ruins of an old city. A strange place compared to the land in Alaska. She kept Soloman close and one of her packs on her shoulder. The one that contained her daggers just in case she needed to defend herself. The large stallion snorted as she led him down the crumbling road of the city. She found some buildings to scavenge through, but they had nothing left in them but the leftovers that other scavengers had found of no use. The remains of human civilizations scattered the insides. Old couches, beds, pots and pans, and various other items that wolves never needed in the first place. Still, it was a nice safe place to rest up. She tied up Soloman outside and made herself comfortable on an old couch. She chewed on some smoked white tail and hummed to herself. If she was actually going to go to the border was a decision she wasn't ready to make.

Adelle had noticed the pack's growth. The borders weren't where they used to be. It had happened before, Adelle knew that, but now a very large place was clear in view. Adelle stood on the edge of the pack, staring over at the city that, as far as she was concerned, had sprouted up overnight. Adelle had been to small towns before, but nothing nearly as large as this was. Adelle wasn't even sure what the first thing to go about doing was.

She was older though, and could clearly take care of herself. Adelle checked to make sure the bracers were secure, and slipped her metal gloves on. Crossing over Adelle entered the city, and began to investigate. Many, many canines had passed through here. Trails of confusion littered the city. Old scents, new scents, even different animals altogether. Adelle found herself trailing after them, trying to make sense of what it was she had found. It was a rather exhausting task for the energetic female, wandering across the area. There was no end to it!

I was thinking they might be able to be friends since Sidra is thinking about joinng Casa. Maybe she could introduce Adelle to alcohol. X3

Word Count ? 000

Sidra was making herself right at home in the run down building. The place was filthy, the couch had holes and was full of dust from ages of sitting there. But why did it matter when wolves spent every night sleeping on dirt? Sidra was now sipping from the flask which had whisky in it that she had brought with her, munching down the smoked white tail. Her peace was disturbed when she heard Sully stomping on the ground outside, whinnying away at whatever it may be. She went outside to assess the situation but found nothing. But he wouldn't be acting this way for nothing. Sidra raised her head to the sky attempting to pick up a scent. To her surprise, one new scent lingered in the city's remains. Female, close bye. The scent made her hackles raise for no reason, she just didn't like being in the presence of strangers.

To break the ice, Sidra threw back her head and released a howl to the sky. It was howl that let the female know she was here and prepared to defend herself. Though, that may be jumping the gun just a bit. There was no need for a fight if both females cooperated with each other. The exotic pelted female stood by her stallion and simply waited. If the stranger wanted to come, then she would come. If not, Sidra would simply continue relaxing by herself. Maybe scavenge the area a bit more in hopes of finding something useful.

OOC: sound good. you'll be dealing with isa's wrath after though XD

The sound of a horse broke through the weary surroundings. Adelle's mind was still working on sorting through all the knowledge she was being pummeled with, hopelessly lost at this point. As soon as the call rang out Adelle turned around. She knew horses. Horses were friendly, reassuring. Something she could deal with. Adelle turned and trotted towards the sound. It wasn't long before a howl joined in. The howl declared the wolf's strength, sure in itself. A warrior of some kind perhaps. Very strong. Adelle's tail picked up, glad to have found something nice to deal with.

Stepping around the corner Adelle studied the female. She seemed fairly friendly. The stallion looked a bit upset by the youth's arrival, but he would get over it. Adelle meant no harm, simply glad to find someone to help her deal with all the changes in the city. Mind relaxing she took in the scents, noting the smell of food. Hello. Her voice was friendly, loud for someone unused to her noisy antics. Adelle wasn't trying to be intimidating, her burly body carrying her forwards.

Only a few moments after her howl, the other female wolf showed herself. She rounded the corner and their eyes met. Sidra's own opal eyes gazed over the large female as the stranger's eyes did the same to her. She was young, but already tall and slightly burly. The girl's coat mimicked that of her own, black and gold. Her posture was relaxed which told Sidra she didn't have to worry about this one that and she was a woman which always comforted her. She gave a sigh of relief, glad that the stranger looked friendly enough that there was no need for ferocious warnings. A loud but friendly voice broke the silence and the stranger approached. Sidra held her ground and patted at Soloman's neck. He was snorting and kicking at the ground noisily as the girl approached. "Shush up Sully." The large horse didn't heed her words and continued on with his antics.

"Hey there." When she got closer, Sidra noted the bracers on her arms and legs. She was a fighter. Sidra gave a half-ass smile and raised her eyes to meet the stranger's. She tried to puff herself up so she looked a little larger than she was only standing at a measly 5'8". Her tail was also raised dominantly behind her, not that it would do much. "What brings you here? Besides my howl. You're from Casa right? Sidra could smell her pack mates scents wafting from her thick coat. She was definitely from casa. It seemed like everyone she met was from that pack.

The horse was panicking at her approach, something Adelle had never had happen to her before. The horses in Casa were all calm friendly beasts. Even the ones that tended to act up with attitude got along with her. Perhaps because they recognized how young she was, or because of the intense training Wayne and Dixie put into the horses to make them easy to work with. The hybrid was friendly enough though, Adelle's tail wagging at the greeting. It was always enjoyable to meet someone new.

The stranger took on a fairly dominant stance, something the female accepted without much difficulty. She wasn't lost, luckily, but having something familiar to deal with in all the confusion was much better for her. Unfortunately, Adelle's submissive form usually worked best with those used to being jumped on by a giant pup and had the strength to tackle her back. She bounded forwards the last few steps, nose twitching as she took in a deep breath. This one had been to many, many places!

Adelle pranced a little excitedly, the boundless energy that ran through her making it too difficult to stay still. Yes. Best pack. Was patrolling. Decided to explore city. Lots of new smells. Her english was better than that, but whenever Adelle got too excited it tended to fall into the short speech she'd used when she'd first learned the language. You coming to pack?

The excitement in the pup was evident, she was bouncing all over the played filled with youthfull energy. It brought a slight smile to Sidra's face as she watched her antics. The girl's energy was almost infectious. Whens he spoke, her words mimicked her energy. She spoke loud and somewhat fast, it was odd to Sidra. She'd been taught how to speak properly by the traffickers. It attracted more customers when you had proper English and a polite tone. The young girl had simply come to explore. What other reason would a pup have to come into the city? "Thought so. Sidra looked over her shoulder and back inside the house. Her food and wine was sitting inside waiting for her to return. "Well to be honest, I was thinking about it. One or your pack mates was persuading me to join and he did a pretty good job at it."

She turned and started to head inside giving Soloman one last pat of approval before she turned around. She motioned the pup to follow her inside where the old but comfy couch was waiting for them. "Why don't you come inside? It's pretty cozy in here." Once inside she sat back down on the couch and picked up the flask taking a sip before setting it on the small coffee table in front of her. She eyed the door and waited for the girl to come inside. She could hear Sully going wild outside, snorting and whinnying non stop. He was so wild and obnoxious sometimes. Those bastards of men probably made him the way he is, poor horse. Sidra yelled outside impatiently. "C'mon! You're making Soloman restless by standing there!" Then she made herself comfortable propping her feet on the table like a human.

Her tail wagged excitedly at the answer. The pack would love you! You have a horse, lots of the members have horses. You're probably pretty good at fighting too, right? Since you're thinking of joining. Fighting and joining Casa went hand in hand in her mind. Adelle just had to defeat someone in battle to become a true warrior now. She was looking for a fight, but she hadn't entered into any yet.

Tail wagging she looked over at the horse as Sidra entered inside. Sticking her tongue out at the stallion she entered in. Food! And drink in a flask. Adelle hadn't drunk from flasks before, water always available from fresh streams and the like. The hybrid looked fairly comfortable, despite the towering height difference. Adelle looked around before sitting down on the floor, gazing up. You must have traveled a lot.

The free spirited and high energy girl was lightening Sidra's mood quite a bit. Her assurances that Sidra would fit into Casa and that they would love her brought a bright smile onto the ember female's lips. Her tail swayed gently behind her with joy. Youth like Adelle brought a refreshing atmosphere to almost any situation. She only experienced the carelessness of being a young for a short time being forced to grow up the night she was kidnapped. Which might by why she acted so immature and rebellious. Sidra nodded in response to her question. Horses and fighting hmm? Sounded like just the right place for Sidra to call home. She fought, loved horses, and more than anything wanted a family. "Yeah, you could say that. I have a lot of experience fighting. But, nothing graceful or tactful. I guess it's more of a dirty style of fighting. Could be improved a bit, but it's gotten me out of a lot of bad situations."

The girl finally came inside and took a seat on the floor by where she was sitting. She eyed the food and glanced at the flask sitting on the table. Sidra rummaged through her bag and took out two more pieces of smoked white tail offering one of them to the gold and black youth. "It's White Tail. I smoked it myself." Sidra chewed off a chunk and looked down at her acquaintance as she asked more questions which she was surprisingly eager to answer. She thought about it for a moment. "Yes. All the way across the country until I got here." She brought the flask up to take another sip washing down the smokey flavor from the meat. "So, you think Casa would love me? I hope so." She grinned widely again. "I'm Sidra by the way."

She listened as the female described her fighting, bright eyes curious. Dirty fighting? That wasn't a style Adelle knew. Not that she knew many ways of fighting. She could fight with a sword, a bit with an axe, and quite good with close combat in all three forms. The dirty fighting that was mentioned was different though. Sagely she nodded her head at the conclusion. Grandpa says if you stop improving then you've failed. It was as simple as that in her mind. No limit to be reached, just to continually push on.

She accepted the offered meat happily, chewing on the piece. It wasn't much to the giant female, but enough to sate her hunger for a short time. It was polite as well, to chew on it and not end up eating through half of the stranger's food supplies. Casa was supposed to help others after all, and she wasn't being helpful if she was eating all their food. Her tail wagged brightly at the words, imagining crossing the country. Adelle wasn't eager for travel, too involved in becoming a warrior to do that, but the idea was still tantalizing.

I'm Adelle Vilhelmsen. She would have gone on to describe how she'd lived in Casa almost her whole life, except for a brief time traveling and being hungry, but the meat was rather dry. Shyly she looked over at the flask. Can I have some?

OOC: This outta be funny. Ha.

Sidra nodded at the pup's grandfather's outlook on fighting. It was true. There was no end to increasing your skill. "That's true. No matter how hard you train, there will always be someone out there who is capable of defeating you. So, you keep practicing." Though, Sidra had picked up her skills from Xander after he helped them escape. They spend a few months together, Sidra absorbing everything he had to teach her in that time. She hadn't seen him since and if she was going to continue improving herself she would need someone else to teach her. The way she fought was easy to counter and full of flaws. The grand thing about it, was that there were no rules. In any situation, she could find a new way to counter her opponent, whether or not it was fair.

Sidra continued to smile over at the young Luperci as she ate the piece of smoked meat, taking bites out of her own piece. The girl seemed to enjoy it. The company of another woman was something Sidra treasured. Never, had she been betrayed by her own gender. Her mom had died protecting her, Kativa had helped her find a way out of their mess, and all the females she'd come in contact with since coming here were kind. Xander, her father, and Aro were the only males who had shown her a shred of kindness and more than she could count had proven themselves wretched. Sidra's brow furrowed as she thought about it. Soon, she wiped away the thoughts all together turning back to Adelle as she introduced herself. That was a pretty name. It seemed to suite her strong energized demeanor. "Adelle Vilhelmsen, from Casa Di Cavalieri. Hm." It had a charming ring to it.

Sidra reclined on the sofa and let her head fall back as she chewed the tough meat with a content look on her face. She glanced down Adelle just in time to catch the timid look in her eyes as she gazed at the flask. The slender female sat forward in her chair staring at it for a moment and then turned to face the young female. She really didn't see any reason why she shouldn't be able to have some and she didn't mind sharing. Spotted shoulders shrugged and nodded picking up the flask, taking one more swig, and handing it to her gold and black companion. It hadn't even crossed her mind to tell her what was in the flask before handing it to her.

Of course. Adelle didn't think it applied to Grandpa, as he was the strongest warrior out there. No one could defeat him. Somehow he was exempt from the rule, even if it applied to her. That was alright though. Soon she would be strong enough to test herself in battle, and prove herself a worthy warrior. Grandpa would be proud of her when that happened, the first sign of being a true warrior, beyond the shifting that she'd been granted.

The flask was passed to the pup after another drink was taken. It must be really good stuff if Sidra was drinking down so much of it. Or she was really thirsty. Adelle was vaguely aware of alcohol, though she had never touched the stuff herself. Taking a sniff Adelle's tail wagged. Not water. No one stood in her way, Adelle as grown up as anyone. Lifting the flask Adelle took a sip. That tasted horrible! Adelle barely kept from spluttering as she swallowed it down. Trying to look dignified she passed it back. Why would people drink that? Did it strengthen them to touch such vile stuff?

Sidra watched intently as the pup took the flask. She seemed to ignore the strong scent of the Whiskey as she sniffed it, her tail wagging eagerly to taste what was inside. She didn't seem to know what it was though and took a sip. The large girl had a look of disgust on her face after the Whiskey hit her tongue causing Sidra to grin with amusement. She nearly started to laugh but refrained from doing so remembering her manners. It took a couple seconds for Adelle to down it, she obviously had trouble getting it down. The spotted female took back the flask and set it back on the table. Adelle tried to cover up the disgust as she handed it back, it was extremely amusing. She herself was starting to feel the effects from the few sips she'd taken. Her body was warm and her thoughts were fluid and nonstop, mind open to all the possibilities of the world. "I'm going to take a guess and say you've never drank before?"

She sat back again bringing her arms behind her head. "Next sip, don't let it hit your tongue and just swallow it. You won't be able to taste it so it'll be easier to get it down. This stuff is pretty strong." She was assuming that Adelle would try it again, at least she hoped she would, with Sidra's added advice. The Whiskey was strong. Even a couple sips would give a Luperci a buzz being more sensitive to the human drink. It might be fun to sit around and drink with someone else other than Kativa who was a boring drunk. "You're welcome to try again if you want. Sorry I had the stronger stuff on me today. I usually don't drink this. But, it's worth the bad taste. Trust me." Sidra was being a horrible influence. Mostly because, she didn't have the slightest clue how to be a good influence. To her, it was all the same.

Adelle glanced over at Sidra. Shaking her head she nibbled the meat she held. She hadn't drunk the disgusting liquid before, and couldn't understand why anyone would want to. Not yet feeling the effects with her large size slowing it down Adelle stretched out. Given advice on how to drink it Adelle examined it again. Maybe she should try again. After all, it was something that adults drank, and she was an adult now. She had to get used to such things.

Nodding her head Adelle took the drink. Told it was stronger than the normal stuff just boosted the pup's choice. She wasn't going to act weak and back down. Adelle followed the instructions, swallowing down a long drink before she pushed it away again. The taste wasn't as bad this time, though she could feel it burning on the way down. What a strange choice. She was strong enough though, not turning away from the challenge.

Amused amethyst eyes wandered over Adelle as she recovered from the swig she took. This was hilarious. Sidra's tail was thumping on the couch as she watched the pup. Her first drink hadn't been too different, except she actually had spit the vile liquid out. At least Adelle was strong enough to swallow it and Sidra respected the young girl for that. "C'mon, it won't be that bad. It was your first drink after all." Her persuasion had worked. The gold and black girl grabbed the flask again and raised it to her lips. This time, she drank with much more elegance and swallowed it down quickly. Her face told that it didn't taste as vile as the first time. Sidra applauded her and gave a short chuckle. "That's it! Now, you wait for your prize." A bright smile adorned her calico face. She was already two steps ahead of Adelle, the drink had taken a hold of her. It was an amazing feeling that she couldn't resist.

"Now, you have my respect." She reached over to pat the young optime on the shoulder. It would be amusing to see how the pup acted under the influence. Sidra was here to watch her and make sure she didn't do anything too stupid. The first time could be a bit overwhelming for some. She was happy she had someone to drink with that might be more entertaining than her partner. Her mind switched to Aro, he had been a joy to drink with as well. Nova Scotia was treating her well so far and life was good. Now, she just needed a home. Sidra began to think of what the two could do now. Maybe the could race, or spar, something fun. "Once you feel it, let me know. There's a world waiting for us Adelle." She was being silly already, but she didn't care in the slightest.

OOC here!

Applause met her actions. Confident the dog grinned over at her new friend. That was right. She could handle anything. A simple bad taste wouldn't stop her. She'd take on the world! Adelle pulled herself up tall, expectant eyes on Sidra. Was she going to be given a prize? Adelle didn't know what she was talking about, expecting something she could touch. Her shoulder was patted, tail swaying as she was told she had the other's respect.

The pup giggled at Sidra's words. We take it on! Broken english was already filtering through, replacing her normal gathered speech. English wasn't exactly a primary for her. Her head buzzed, light and lifted. Elated by the feel of being accepted and respected by an adult Adelle stood up, large body filling the room. What do we do now? She didn't notice the lingering feel of her words, the signs of intoxication.

OOC: She's such a dork. X3

The world continued to gently spin around her, something she had grown used to with time. Warmth filled her from the top of her head to the tip of her wolfish toes, it was such lovely feeling. Adelle's giggle added a lightness to the atmosphere and a nearly tangible joy. Bright lilac eyes narrowed in a large grin happy Adelle agreed with her. Sidra got up from the couch and crawled her way onto the table. She stood up and raised a fist into the sky with a proud look on her face. Her tail pumped behind her expressing her excitement while she puffed out her chest. "Okay then!! Let's make this world know who we are!" Her own words began to sound different. Her normally formal speech was slowly fading. Her words were beginning to run together into half-ass sentences. Whatever came out of her mouth, were her exact thoughts and nothing more. There was no thinking going on inside the calico female at this moment.

As she stood there swaying on top of the table, she thought. There was a whole city. No! A whole world out there that was waiting for the two young canines to make theirs. Though, there were dozens of things they could do. In one clumsy motion, Sidra jumped off the table and went to jab at Adelle gently. "Spar with me! Show me your strength!" Then she made her way out the door. The sun was getting lower in the sky. In an hour or two's time it would be nightfall. Sidra jumped down the steps and landed rather gracefully. Soloman snorted and whinnied at her arrival. She made her way to the street and turned around to face the door of the house. She crouched, put both fists out in front of her, and lowered her head waiting for the young girl to come and make the first move. She would probably end up getting her ass kicked...she was a horrible fighter when she drank. But, who wasn't? "C'mon!! Don't be a chicken Adelle. I challenge you. Now get your ass out here."

OOC here!

Adelle sprung up as Sidra did. Dizziness washed through her body, sending her stumbling back into a chair. Laughing she pushed back off, tail still going. A soft jab pushed at Adelle, the dog looking bemused at the hybrid's push. She still stood there, watching Sidra dance across the floor. Laughing she followed. Dumt køter, dansede i gaderne. Skal jeg slutte sig til dig? Lad os være fjolser sammen. She followed her out, steps clumsy as she stumbled onto the ground.

Grinning at Sidra she stepped over, tail swaying as she prepared for a fight. Her fists were up, stance battle ready. Even drunk the ingrained knowledge filled her, position correct, if a touch sloppy. At least she wouldn't be losing her balance as easily as before standing how she was. Du er kylling! Stepping forwards she swung a heavy fist at the hybrid, full force behind it. Checking herself had never been a strong point, the alcohol increasing that fact.

Sidra bounced around outside jabbing at nothing while she watched Adelle exit the house. Tail rushed behind her excited for a challenge. Her lips curled up to reveal her teeth as she grinned waiting for Adelle to start the battle. The large female took her own fighting stance, much more put together than Sidra's play stance. The young girl spewed a few words which held no meaning to the hybrid but she shook them off completely accepting of the world around her. A second later, the girl's large fist was coming at her and even though she looked prepared, she wasn't. The slim canine held both of her extended arms in front of her to block the punch with the power of a truck behind it. Adelle was a beast! She was pushed backwards with the force of the punch swinging a lefty at Adelle as she fell backwards. A fierce growl accompanied the pathetic jab that wouldn't have landed even if she had kept her balance. "Grrraaawr!"

Right leg extended backwards to catch herself before she fell and she came bouncing back on humanized legs. Dark paws shuffled underneath her picking up dust as she skipped fowrard. "Is that the bessst ya got!!" She bounced forward clumsily and threw her right fist at Adelle not planning where it would land. Soloman was going wild in the background energized by their fight. He snorted and kicked at the ground prancing around the area where he was tied. He gave a fierce whinny as if to cheer his girl on.
