Sorry for the slight delay on this, hopefully Whisper Beach will work for the setting! ^^; WotD: Copse 400+

Since the start of the Summer Solstice, the events in Catalyst de Sadira's life had been certainly animated and altering. Life had started out with the migration of Anyanka and her offspring across the lands, to where the de Sadira litter was dropped off one night in the care of Cercelee. From that point, life had proved to be quite luxurious for awhile; obtaining lavishing meals of rabbit, spoiled by certain treats and gifts, safe, dry, and comfortable under the establishment of the church. The puppies, they had it all. They had the good life for awhile. The only worry to cross their minds was the fact that they didn't know where Anyanka disappeared to due to her negligent care of the puppies, and that was really the only worried that plagued their young minds. Everything else had been peachy, fine and dandy.

The dream didn't last long for the first born female, however, with early as four months had the raw realities of life began to be revealed to her at a rate that was surprisingly vicious, changing, and such things that one would think shouldn't be seen at such a fragile, delicate age. The failure of Anyanka's ability to raise her pups and return to them, the fleeing of Catharsis, Palindrome, and Roulette, the death of Ril'o and the broke promise of Cwmfen, the inner change that Catalyst was experiencing from wolf to Luperci, a concept unknown and certainly unspoken about. Everything was happening all at once, and for the first time Catalyst was experiencing the feeling of being overwhelmed.

There had been a copse of tall grasses before the creamy shoreline was met once again. Catalyst had not been here since her confrontation with Conor, but she felt a gravitating need to return to the cool shoreline of Whisper Beach. It was sunny, the air was salty with its oceanic aroma, the waters were refreshing in these hot days. It was overall fun, and it held a sense of what felt like a small vacation from the rest of Dahlia and her problems. A place for a puppy to get lost, have fun, and play the day away! Feeling her alabaster paws instantly sink into the sands, there was a pleasing smile upon the puppy's maw, feeling the familiar tickle of the granules between the tender areas of her paws. She loped gently to where the sand began to sink in, arriving at the point where the waves crested upon the shoreline. Her paws were instantly met with the rushing waters past her; gliding in and splashing about, feeling her spirits liven and rise gently at the contact of the ocean. Catalyst wanted to make today a fun, eventful day for herself, without all the worried that plagued her mind. Today was her personal playdate to herself on the beach.

Sorry about the wait - it's been almost 3/4 of a year since I visited my home town and everyone wants a piece of me! xD

........

Unknown to him, the fact that the scene he partook in was ever so similar to one lived by his aunt years ago was slightly ironic, because for all the similarities in setting and scenery, he was not at all similar to the ivory woman with social issues. In fact, his chubby self liked others, spoke to them freely and happily, and though his parents were no longer around he knew that they loved him. It did not occur to him to put two and two together and simply realize that his father was mentally ill, and his mother was on edge with most members of the society in which he lived. But years ago on a beach similar to the one his paws now carried him over, his aunt had met a puppy, and had failed at socially bonding with said pup. The beach was not the same, and the children were not the same, but when the boy laid eyes on the ever-turning, churning, rolling of the waves - something could be seen glinting in his eye. It seemed he had inherited something beside brown markings from his father's gene pool, as the ocean struck him instantly as something extremely appealing - inviting even - and as a playmate that would likely never cease to entertain him. Of course, he was naive, and slightly dim even, to be having all of these overly lifted thoughts and ideas, but such a personality had vested itself in the small body of cream and caramel and chocolate brown.

........

Leaping around himself a few times - because he liked to do that when he was pleased, and didn't realize he was getting too old for this - he halted to look out to the ocean again. And now, in the midst of the salty levels which ceaselessly attacked the sandy shore, a white dot was easily visible. Why hadn't he seen it before? And it wasn't just a dot either, it was someone. His tail started wagging behind him as he approached her (for as he moved closer he did realize it was a female), and quickly concluded that she was roughly his own age, white-pelted, and a pack member - his nose was keen. Perhaps he should know who she was, but whenever someone tried to teach him anything, it was as if his mind acted on its own accord, and suddenly he had so many things to do and explore and think about that there was no room for such so-called "important stuff". At least Alexey was nice about it, though. She wasn't so angry as he had thought before, really.

........

The boy stopped at a comfortable distance and abruptly called out to the girl in his usual way. His tone was normal enough, cheerful even, and his tail was in a height that suggested that he was comfortable and happy - it would have swept the sand away in a fan pattern had he been sitting down. The boy's appearance quickly gave away his inheritance, even if he knew next to nothing about either of them. Luckily, his demeanor couldn't be further from them both. Hi!!

Super sorry for the delay, playing catch up with my threads. O_x We can make this short and sweet so we can glide through this thread if you wish. ^^ 300+

Today was certainly a bright day, one of which she found her dual sights to be painfully squinting at. Regardless of such, it was as if the ocean air with its salty and zesty zing breathed in a revitalizing, new life into her lungs. Yes, Catalyst wanted to be carried away and rejuvenated from anything and everything that signified the dark and dreary actions of yesterday. From her mother abandoning her, to her siblings, one by one, disappearing into oblivion, to where she seen the ruthless and vicious murder of Ril'o at the Dahlian borders by a black eyed, soul-less demon. Such things wanted to be rid from her psyche, and while most of it still hung lackluster in her mind. Catalyst would fight to change things around for herself for the better. That's what you had to do in a vicious world like this, right?

Catalyst wasn't expecting any company to acknowledge her presence, not in the least. It seemed like most individuals chose not to wander out here, mainly for reasons that it might have been too hot, some might have not enjoyed the salty waters, or there were simply other things to be had in one's busy lifestyle. However, there was one other individual who decided to take a break from reality and come here as well. Her thin flaps of alabaster ears hear quite a cheerful greeting directed her way, sending her ivory encased skull to pivot in the direction of the source. Her dual gaze rested upon a tawny figure, and immediately did Catalyst assume it was Conor Soul, whom she met here not too long ago on the very similar beach embankment. It certainly looked like Conor from a distance, however, it didn't smell or sound like Conor in the least. The boy looked quite enthralled and cheerful on this day, one thing that Catalyst could certainly envy. "Hi." The ivory girl stated simply, inclining her head to the side and for some reason feeling quite awkwardly shy toward him. Why was he in such a fantastic mood for nothing?

Sure Smile

........

This girl didn't seem as happy as he was - why? Why wasn't she really happy when the ocean was so pretty and great? It was blue and big and the waves made funny sounds and smells. It seemed as if she didn't want to say nearly anythin, since she only said one word, but then again he had only said one word too, so maybe that was why. His blue and silvery eyes studied her form as he moved closer to her so they didn't have to shout. She was looking like his auntie because his auntie was white in the fur and so was this girl. Her fur was nothing likehis auntie's though, and certainly not her eyes! The boy stopped now that he was closer to her, and looked at her eyes. One of them looked a little bit like his own did in ponds and still water, but the other one was a strange color. And he had never seen anyone with such strange eye colors before! His bottom had an abrupt meeting with the ground below him as he sat down suddenly, his tail patterning the sand. My name is Emwe who are you? It was two sentences, but his eagerness pulled them together into one, not yet having learnt the finer details of speech. The point got through, and that was what was important! Hesitating, he looked at her eyes again, and concluded that they would have to be addressed. His curiosity was just too much! Your eyes are very strange, he said bluntly. It was true, was it not?
