Guests | Wanderers
A proud point Nomads hold fast to, was that at one point they were wanderers. They understood (and still do!) the trials of surviving on only what their able paws and teeth could take, and learned to appreciate a warm shelter and comfortable bed. These are aspects that not all wanderers are provided, and Sangi’lak caters to those that are lacking.
Each wanderer that comes to their borders in need are offered a modest accommodation and a meal for the duration of their stay, but it is asked that no wanderer outstay their welcome. The Nomad’s generosity when taken sparingly is renowned, however there are few that have experienced the harsher side when their hospitality is taken advantage of. To omit future mishaps, the Nomads ask for a small payment BEFORE the wanderer or guest leaves; either a tradeable good or a shall hunt of some kind. Anything the pack would find useful in exchange for a place to rest without the obligation of joining the Family.
An exception to this arrangement are pack wolves from aligned and positively related packs. Each individual or party is given their own place to rest near (not but in) the pack quarters, and are exempted from taking part in Nomad pack tasks. However an extra hand is always welcomed!
