- Evan'ule Ranks
Hunter
The hunter is a basic job that most Evan’ules have a paw or two in. All Evan’ules are expected to hunt and collect meat whenever possible to ensure there is a plentiful supply of food to sustain the pack should disaster strike. The hunter, however, is specialized in gathering and caring for consumable resources. Smoking and storing meat, collecting useful herbs and berries, and ensuring pack members are well fed should they not have the time or ability to hunt for themselves all falls into their responsibilities. Hunters are expected to be efficient killers of prey and quick on their feet but are least expected to train and keep up their offensive and defensive capabilities.
Requirements: Must have had at least 4 threads with 3 involving other Packs.
Mark your thread with [Hunt].Archer
Archery is a more selective Evan'ule skill that incorporates long range attacks and accuracy. The Archer has a suitable knowledge of various terrains and wind movement that will effect the range and angle of his arrow. His accuracy is on par with most predatory birds in that if he wants to wound a prey from yards away, he can without risk of killing it in a single, precision strike. And if his aim is to kill, it is true without hesitation.
Requirements: Must have at least 4 threads using the bow and arrow. 2 of the threads must demonstrate successful hunting skills with the bow and arrow. The Archer will be given a bow crafted by the pack upon completion.
Mark your thread with [Archery]Falconer
Falconers are trainers of the predators and scavengers of the skies. They use their voices not only to call to them, but to conduct the behaviors of the birds and use them as valuable weapons or messengers within the Family. They can train their bird companion or flock to dive upon prey with just the inflection of their voice, or hold off an attack by another. They are the masters of their tools, and as such know intimately the behaviors and habits of most predatory avian species. They have some knowledge regarding care for their companions and are able to speak with them if their companion's voices are willing. Falconers treat the birds with respect for their abilities and learn to co-exist harmoniously.
Requirements: Must have at least 4 threads communicating with different birds of prey (or 1 bird companion if applicable). Must know Low Speech. The Falconer will be given a bird companion upon completion.
Mark your thread with [Falconry]Scout
Scouts are quick-footed members that should have a fondness for exploring and discovering new places. These canines have an extensive knowledge of their home terrain as well as the immediate surrounding areas. Members should come to scouts with news or let a scout know when or if they are leaving the packlands for any extended length of time. During times of danger the scout should be looked to for their speed and agility. These canines are encouraged to find skill in unconventional and ranged combat to keep their fast and often more fragile bodies out of direct engagement.
Requirements: Must have had at least 4 threads with 3 involving other Packs.
Mark your thread with [Scout].Ranger
The most dangerous members of the pack. Warriors should be thoroughly trained in the dominant aspects of combat and should hold a strategic mind capable of taking control of any hostile situation. While they are expected to keep up on hunting and patrolling, a warrior’s main focus should be bettering themselves through combat and training to add strength to their pack. Should war or other bloody events occur in Sangilak Warriors should be there, standing strong and ready in the face of sacrifice for their family.
Requirements: Must have had at least 4 threads with 3 involving other Packs.
Mark your thread with [Ranger].
