Aro Marino. The name meant nothing to her, but very few names did, and at least whoever had startled her so had the decency to introduce themselves. Nayru took a few hesitant steps towards the sound of the caller, her eyes searching in vain for the silhouette of the stranger. The voice had sounded young, but not too young. He had sounded older than Gideon, but perhaps not quite an adult, which placed him near to her own age. The only other wolf she knew so close to her own age was King, and he was one of the last males she’d like to meet wandering the forest alone. Using her hands to guide her closer, clinging somewhat to the trees that lined her path, Nayru allowed her voice to be less rigid and take on its natural soft tones. "My name’s Nayru." The black blotched girl thought of how she introduced herself to Anu before, giving her pack name as well, but it seemed silly to continue calling out to someone she couldn’t even see. "Where are you? I can’t see anything. Make a noise!" It seemed silly, locating one another by sound, but as she drew closer it was hardly necessary. Her nose twitched and she could smell him then, the same scent of Crimson Dreams upon him as it had been upon Anu, and this too help to put the cautious female at ease. Anu had been so kind, and if that was anything to judge other Dreamers by, than it would seem she had nothing to worry of. Of course, Razekiel was kind and he had warned her to stay away from Inferni, despite that being his own home. A few more steps and her eyes focused and there he was, standing before her and she halted suddenly. There was still distance in between them, enough for her to flee if required, but now she could see him, and although bigger than her own tiny self, he was not terrifying. No, indeed, his dark tones set against the light limbs and face reminded her of her own pelt, although more solid and less patchy. "Oh, uh, hello." A timid smile then, and she waited, not quite sure what to say in such a situation. |
