Kesho’s response was quick and swift – he nodded in all the right places and agreed to shift into Optime form when Hybrid requested. This pleased the Tessarius greatly and he was not used to such unconditional compliance. Well, certainly not anymore at least! It was only half a month ago that he’d come across the sour and petulant Silas Agata, whom he had tried so hard to show the error of his ways only to come to blows in a physical confrontation. Hybrid still didn’t think he had done anything wrong – Silas was the one at fault for being so damn slimy and weedy.

So, when Kesho complied, something deep within Hybrid stirred in anticipation. Once he had finished speaking, he had known what he was going to do. But only now did he actually recognize it and accept it. He rested his right hand on his chest at a comfortable position. He folded his arm and held his elbow back slightly, resting his hand on the slope between his ribcage and his hip bone. He grinned when Kesho asked what was next and took a step forward to instruct him.

Hybrid licked his chops and surveyed his companion. The coyote before him looked like he’d had a couple meals to eat, while Hybrid always looked run down and ragged. That was not to say he did not have a lot of fight in him; just that he had never really achieved his full height while others certainly should have. While he found it peculiar that he was on the smaller side for most coyotes, he had since accepted it and taken it in stride. He certainly made up for it in other ways.

“Lay down,” he replied. He took a moment to watch Kesho as he responded and moved. He was in some ways very interested in how the body worked and how it responded – perhaps that was why he excelled in fighting. He chuckled at this thought – he was always getting distracted by these little things that were really rather inconsequential to the grand scheme of things. Or, the new grand scheme of things. Hybrid was a malleable and dynamic creature who could adapt and change with the circumstances. He only hoped Kesho was as flexible as he.

“I’m going to fuck you now.” There was no laugh or bitter irony – just plain, simple truth. He didn’t feel the need to change who he was now since this was no fight. He didn’t feel the need to make a show of strength or anything really. Hybrid did not want to say he knew Kesho would agree, but he didn’t think there was a possibility for dissent; so, he did not even allow himself to consider it.
