A look of complete disgust rolled over the sable-furred woman's face, and she peered at Vieira through now-slitted chartreuse eyes, still uncomfortably and unbearably close. At the woman's words, the coyote hybrid snorted and tilted her head backwards, rolling her brilliant lime-colored gaze skyward in a completely exaggerrated expression of disgust. “God, you're boring,” the woman said, crossing her arms across her chest.

Eris was far better at interacting with Vieira than Kaena—she had plenty of practice, after all. The sable-hued coyote's face was permanently affixed into a sneer around Vieira; it had been for the last several weeks they'd lived together in Eterne, and the Tirones had grown no fonder of the slave-girl since. But her usefulness may have increased slightly—Vieira was closer to Kaena than Eris, for sure. “You know, we're not half-sisters,” the sable woman stated. Of course, there was no disappointment in the hybrid's voice. Why should she care if Vieira was her sister? Astaroth isn't my father,” she added, relishing the dead man's name. More than anything, Eris liked seeing the smaller canine twitch and fret with he was mentioned.

Table thanks to Vieira!
