It had never been easy for Princess to make friends or partake in much conversation with her packmates, regardless of which pack she lived in. It did not seem to be very different here, she had realized. While this might have led her to feel unhappy in the pack, Cour des Miracles had something no other pack had. Haven. So Princess was willing to make more of an effort to entertain herself here than she would perhaps have done in Crimson Dreams or Dahlia de Mai.

Savina had been calm as well, but Princess had felt a pull towards the ebony woman. With the dog mix King, she felt nothing more than ambivilance. She liked him well enough, but Princess hardly knew him. The very same could be said for his mate, as well.
