YOU MIGHT NOT FEEL IT NOW

Her head felt heavy and weighed upon her neck, her shoulders tense, her feet blistered, her lower back sore. This had been one hell of a hangover and insomnia spell to conquer for several days now. Still, she couldn't find the means to sleep, wouldn't find the means to sleep until her head rested in a place that she could rest soundly. There was only one place to obtain such a thing, and even now, wasn't sure if this place would be open with welcomed paws and arms to accept her back. She knew that the reigns were slowly slipping from her grasp, slipping from her mentality and her sanity. This was a desperate measure of hers, a desperate action for a last resort. As much as she liked to run, there was no path out there that would bring her to where she wanted to be. Not even the path that was bringing her back to the place that was merely a shot of a true home seemed all that promising.

Yet, there was a glint of what looked like some flicker of distant hope in her crimson eyes. The scent of Gabriel's markings along the territory boundaries made her flesh crawl, every hair stand on end, and brought reminiscing memories of when she was young, innocent, untainted. Ah, those were the days, and she would give anything to have a taste of them again. Talitha felt enlivened to see Gabriel once again, but was also apprehensive of what he would say when his eyes would draw upon his daughter again in actuality before him. She abandoned him before, several times actually, and how much longer would he put up with her disappearing acts, if he was still willing to? Hell, Talitha didn't even want to think of Ezekiel's reaction to this all neither.

Like said before, this was all a movement of desperation for herself. Selfish? Absolutely. Life out in the open was too stressful, too vulnerable. The Lykoi was not a weak girl in survival by any means, but... tarnished so to speak, even exhausted from the mental torment she suffered in her solitude while gone. Lingering at the extremity of Inferni in the early hours of the morning (which bode even more fatigue for her to sleep), Talitha was in her Lupus form, her figure more than lax of itself. Everything about her seemed worn down, from her neck and shoulders to her limp tail, all except her ears which naturally stood tall and alert, but overall she seemed ragged. Not a good first impression in the least, but it wasn't like Talitha to put up a front with anything, either.
