This time when the female spoke her voice was soft and less panicked. It made him gain a crooked smile, Ah, I eased her with just my voice.. He suddenly gained a more prideful stance as he felt proud by the smallest change. His light blue eyes looked out into the darkness his eyes didn't seem to have as much of a challenge seeing around as his did, perhaps it was because he loved the dark, and how much cooler and crisp the air seemed at night than during the day. A smirk formed hearing her wanting to know where he was, wanting him to make noise. His ears folded back as he spoke, "What kind of noise would you like?" He asks almost teasing, he couldn't help but be ornery and slightly smart about her request. Hearing her talk and with how much lighter of a coat she had, he could already see her slowly getting closer to him. Being able to see her he knew she was close, and he could almost make out her form. She was cute! Her blotchy coat was unique and he liked unique.

Lost in staring at her moving he didn't pay attention to how close she was until she spoke, and his eyes looked up from her body to her. His cheeks got heated and he stumbled his own words when he looked into her eyes. Their crimson tones stuck out against her coat, "..uh...um, hi..." He almost beat himself for how he spoke ..smooth, just smooth! You're a hero! You shouldn't be stuttering!" He tried to recover as he looked down for a moment, then looked up, "What are you doing out here all alone so late?" His light blues looking back into her eyes again. He felt like that was the proper thing to do, maintain eye contact. It was better than staring at her like a numb skull, which he was doing earlier. He wasn't sure if that question was a good recovery, but it was something to get her mind off his stupid stuttering. He drew in a sharp breath to try and fill the odd knot that seemed to be forming in his stomach. He was feeling foolish and he didn't know why. He had never felt shy or this unsure of himself before.
