It was made painfully more clear to Kesho that Hybrid wasn't exactly pleased and willing to be speaking to him. He didn't mind much, though; he thought himself to be worthwhile enough for the both of them, but just barely. His self-confidence had been greatly restored since returning to Mudbloods, but the dragging depression still lingered, constantly kept in play by his favorite alter ego, with a sarcastic smirk. But then the male uttered a few short words, and allowed the conversation to continue. At least somewhat. So that was why the packs were all different now. They were certainly no longer rivals of Silent Dawn or Storm, that was certain. It also seemed to Kesho that the clan was lying low, trying to keep pack rivalries at the minimum. He still didn't quite understand this fact, but it remained. It was certainly different from the foundations that Mudbloods grew upon. The fire destroyed it all and our clan alone stayed in tact. That was certainly saying something about the leadership since his time. It had improved.
"Gabriel and Kaena... they're keeping pack relations in check, it seems. Are we at peace with the wolf packs?" He couldn't believe this could be entirely true; it made him wonder what aims the new Mudbloods had, what place they had chosen to take. "That's certainly different from the chaos and turmoil that I remember." Kesho stayed silent now. He wasn't about to ramble on like he had been, only to get a grunt and a word or two in return. He, too, could brood. He wanted to give Hybrid a chance, though, because he was clearly a loyal wizard of the clan, and clearly worth the time and effort it might take to crack his shell; if it could be done at all.
