"Yeah," a brief agreement. "Gabriel did kill the fucker too. Wouldn’t want that to happen to you eh,"
Kesho's eyed widened in surprise. Gabriel killed? "Glad to know you don't want me dead." Kesho gave a quick grin before his features became still. "Killed who?"
He had wondered vaguely of Gabriel's capacity to kill. Well, there it was. Kesho had to admit, it was a bit shocking. But who did Gabriel kill? Kesho wondered if speaking the name aloud was some sort of taboo. He hadn't known anything of either war, or how they started. Perhaps this canine whose life Gabriel brought to an end had been the fire starter...Oh, what Kesho had missed.
It had been lonely as a wanderer. He wondered now how he'd survived at all, though he couldn't say that he hadn't enjoyed it, sometimes. It certainly would have been more fulfilling to have been here, been engaged in battle, for a purpose...Not just for his own sake. Kesho would give every piece of his being to defend Inferni, despite its mixture of hybrid canines.
He had a great desire to learn more of this war, and Hybrid was providing limited--though valued-- information. What were the details? How did it all happen? When, where did it start? How did it end...Gabriel, it seemed, would be best to request these details from.
