Kesho wondered if Hybrid had picked up on his odd behavior. He hated being this way, and wished that he would just leave him alone--Never, dear Kesho..., he taunted--, though there was a part of Kesho that cherished that vehemently demonic presence. It might just be keeping him alive.

“Oh, it’s fucking shaky. But there are no scores for me. They’re all dead and settled.” Hybrid spoke, his words filled with malice.

Kesho's eyebrows raised at this statement. Dead and settled, eh? He was sure that Hybrid meant exactly what he said, and Kesho nodded in approval, a grin upon his face. There was no doubt in his mind that this man was perfectly capable of causing death; a quality Kesho admired in his comrades.

"Wish I could say the same for mine." he injected, eyes growing dark again as thoughts of the past, of his younger years when he'd been shunned so carelessly; the events which triggered his metamorphosis into the beast he'd become. He knew he'd never be able to return those favors, though, so allowed them to settle in his mind as old and unfulfilled, impossible vendettas.

Kesho thought a change of subject might be in order; he was beginning to feel overly reminiscent. He feared these times, for they had the tendency to entrance him-- something he did not enjoy.

"You're close to Gabriel, then? Might you share what you know of him?" Kesho's request was simple. He needed to know more about his new leader, the wolf-faced beast that was slowly building Kesho's trust. If Kesho didn't trust Gabriel, what would be the use of staying in this clan, save for Kaena's company? The necessity outweighed his morality, though the beast inside of him raged in constant protest.
