Heavy Eyes

Honey my deeeear! <3 *rubs eyes awake* im back! Set at about late afternoon, raining in the veiled gardens.

It was going to rain soon. Siku could smell it. Imagining herself to look pretty miserable looking, the white faced Dahlian set to pulling weeds in the garden her best friend had discovered months before. It had been too long since she worked, and the golden eyed she-wolf was well aware of this. It actually bothered her quite a bit. Too shy to show her face after so long in seclusion, Siku was determined to make herself somewhat useful before trying to go to Nayru again. There was still much to do, that was for sure. As the optime formed she-wolf knelt in the chaotic garden, she pulled the weeds with swift and sure movements. Almost angrily. 'Stupid weeds..'

Spending a good amount of the afternoon clearing away the invasive plants, Siku wished for a rake or something similar to grind up the soil. As she worked, she thought about her small family. Saul, who she had scarcely seen since their last encounter within the walls she now worked in. They spoke of a few things on their minds, and both were relieved for the talk, but Siku missed the wolf since. He brought her food when she didn't hunt, and they still slept together, but to the white woman's dismay they rarely had time together anymore. This brought her thoughts to little Wretch, and Siku sighed as she tore another plant out roughly. She had yet to make much of a relationship with the young girl, who seemed to enjoy being alone more than the Spaher's company. Wretch was attached to Saul, that was for sure. Yet for some reason she chose not to speak to Siku much. This was all right with her, as long as Wretch was happy.

Stopping to glance up at the sky, Siku blinked a few times as a drop of water hit the tip of her nose. The rain was different here. Siku enjoyed it, though usually from the warm and dry confines of the cabin. Pausing to take a break, the slender she-wolf set down the limp weed in her hand and laid back. Her long whiteish blond hair was tied back, something the woman had begun to do only recently. She had never thought to restrain the annoying locks of fur, only doing so when she started working with plants. It made it so much easier, though Siku sometimes felt a little foolish with it all back in one tail. Golden eyes closed as the rain fell gradually more and more, and Siku crossed her arms behind her head as she relaxed for the first time that day. Her chest rising and falling slowly, Siku slowed her breathing and attempted to meditate. Though no one taught her, the woman learned to fall into conscience mental states of rest when she was alone. It calmed her when she worried; which she did a lot. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she fully relaxed, the rain pelting her face. She did not care. Only wished for the company she knew she would not seek out.
