I edited this so that Naniko's unshifted.

She sniffed at the wrapper a little then sneezed, sending dust flying in different directions. She'd found a small clothing store the day before and was now trying to locate it again, searching through rows of dilapidated buildings. Most of the shops had windows broken in and debris from the outside world littering their floors, but the shop that she was looking for would be relatively clean. Naniko was temporarily taking claim of the shop, having found that its windows were unbroken and that its door had a good lock on it. She had been wanting to move to a different part of the city to live for a week now, looking for an area that was unfamiliar to her. The unfamiliar places were the best for her right now; they had none of the drugs that she was fighting against. Or if they did, the once-alpha didn't know where they were. She had to avoid all of her old hot-spots.

She carried a bucket of red paint in her mouth by its handle, paint that she would use to mark the front of the building so that she would be able to find it easier the next time. She would throw some up on the street sign, too, so that she could find that too. There were so many buildings and structures in Halifax...she needed a way to be able to distingush her place from all others.

She was keeping a few things in storage there at the clothing store, some food and other items that she'd found on her stay in the city. Books, too. Right now she was beginning to get a little hungry. Naniko hadn't been hungry all morning; she had tried to eat, but it had come right back up. Maybe she had the flu or something. She didn't feel sick now, though, which was odd. Just in the morning times. She approached the street that her little shop was on and worked the lid off of the paint can, sloshing a bit of it up at the road sign. She would return to Crimson Dreams eventually...but for now this was her home.
