a warning to the people, the good and the evil

A howl rang in the air and it caused Fritz’s ears to perk up in a manner as he got up slowly from the hollow he claimed to be his home. He had found it not too long ago and liked the natural state it was in. Though he would love to have some neighbors, he doubted he could get anyone else to stay in a hollow. Being very tired he picked himself up as he shifted from Lupus to Optime and crawled out from the hollow’s archway? Yawning lazily he had been resting up, but he looked much better than before. His scars were still there and visible to the naked eye, but there not an ounce of dried blood on him. Getting up from his knees he began to walk toward where he had heard the call from. It sounded very important and also a little frightening for the smaller male as he walked quietly upon the cold ground. Winter, he loved the season but he preferred the warmth of spring.

Finding himself in the middle of the border, he gazed at the other coyotes and hybrids present. Eyes caught Anselm immediately and he smiled toward the other, certain he wouldn’t be seen but he was happy to give it anyway. That was until he heard their leader’s words and his ears fell against his skull. “War?” He whispered the ugly words to himself, his eyes shifting to the floor in wonder. Listening to their leader more his face fell into a very rare frown as he shook his head. Though he did not know this Haku and at the mention of Kaena, he still felt war wasn’t an answer. But he knew how packs and clans felt about their own being hurt by another pack or clan. It wasn’t going to be taken lightly and he shifted uncomfortable. He didn’t like anyone being hurt, unable to take a life himself. Yes, he wanted to help his pack, but he was also nervous about having to…possibly kill.

Shuddering he spotted Kaena not too far away and sighed. He wondered what happened, what this Haku did to anger their leader so. Fritz was very new to the Inferni, and had no knowledge of his new home. “I don’t want people to hurt one another…” Mumbling the words out he listened to the others voices as he sighed. Suddenly he heard a familiar voice and turned, spotting none other than Cotl! An eyebrow rose as he listened to the other so ready for war and he bit his lip. What on earth was he going to do? Maybe he can put his healing abilities to good use. Yes, healing, he could do that as he was not a fighter at all. Well he was protective of the pups, but that was, despite him not being a female, a mother’s instinct. Wrapping his arms around himself he did not know the cause for all this anger. Obviously though it was for a fellow pack member, someone high up. Whoever this Haku was he must’ve hurt Kaena very badly, very, very badly. And indeed should be punished for his crimes.

War. The word had always left a bad taste in his mouth even now as he mumbled the word. Keeping quiet though for the most part, he didn’t want to be rude and intervene when he himself was new. It wouldn’t be respectful he supposed and he honestly didn’t want to speak about something he knew of. But all he knew was they were going to war and he felt he should concoct some herbal treatments. And even though he did not know exactly how and when they’d be going to war, he knew he had better get the treatments done afterward. Differently Fritz was going to speak to Anselm about using his greenhouse. He could read those books, knowing to read in German and English. Yes, he was going to try to be useful even if his strength did not lie in brute force.
