There was nothing to be said. There was nothing that Samael had to say. Fury filled him, encompassing him and radiating from every lifted hair raised across his svelte body, the black and gold coyote fell into step behind Gabriel, otherwise saying and doing nothing. Blood dripped from open wounds, but no thought was given to his own bodily pain—only on failure, and that they hadn’t succeeded in tearing out the bastard’s throat for what he’d done. There was some dull, lingering pain that Kaena hadn’t felt herself able to trust him with the truth, but had found his elder brother worthy, but such thoughts had been pushed aside for blind rage. Now, the fire was seeping from his veins, boiling into his heart where it threatened to explode once again. Clarity crept into his head, but desires for blood and torn flesh were the primary emotions running through the coyote’s head at the moment.

Serpentine features lacked any pleasure or amusement—rather, only dark hatred shone from behind the fixed expression pressed onto place like a cold, stone mask. He would not speak, but merely lift his lip and snarl quietly at the mentioning of the bastard’s name from Gabriel’s lips and the crime he’d committed in the vaguest terms possible. He could care less what the rest of Inferni did right now—he only wished to see Haku Soul dead at his own hands, and for the most part he ignored the entirety of the clan as they gathered around their Aquila and listened to what he had to say. Blood-red eyes filled with murder and rage, his expression was otherwise blank and stoic, and his body tense and still as the ground beneath his feet. Only the quiet trickle of blood seeping from his wounds gave any indication of life and the fire burning like hell’s inferno in his narrowed gaze.
