Apologies for cutting our previous pack meeting short, but we were in dire need of a new one. This pack meeting too is mandatory, though you are only required to post once. This will be the official announcement that Dahlia and Inferni again are at war and is backdated to January 4 for plot start. SSWM 1021
The war was not official yet and already lives had been maimed and destroyed on both sides. Coyote and wolf teeth had tasted each other and turned the lingering tension between Inferni and Dahlia de Mai into a strong and deadly conflict once again. Some blood had already been spilled and more was to come. Several hostile acts had been served by the coyote clan to the north east and now it was time to let the whole of Dahlia know that war was upon them again and this time there would be no mercy. The coyotes had made this clear as they had darted into the territory, attacked the Rosen and shot down his ivory sister. He did not know exactly what had happened to Mew Sadira, but there had been no struggle from what the man had understood. Yet there was a small hole in her head and there had been a small metal object there drowning in the blood pouring out of the gash. That his sister still had been alive when found was beyond him, but this also gave his fellow Dahlians a crushing reason to retaliate for what had been done to their long time member. It could not have gone better. It was not only Haku and his sister that had been touched by the newly announced war. Minos had come to prove his loyalty and he had tasted the coyote’s flesh and understood how to dispose of such filth. He was one of the eye witnesses and so was his golden furred son; the soon to be medic of Dahlia if everything went according to that plan. Haku hoped not, because he did not want prolonged lives. He only wished for death. Unfortunately the rest of his pack could not know this and he had to pull own lines that he had to stay behind in order to keep his throne for now. Death would find them all quickly enough and for now he thirsted for Inferni blood more than Dahlian.
Again he was standing alone in the stone circle in the abandoned human city. The difference from last time was that now they all knew that he was the King. The Queen that had been with them for so long had slipped away in the dark and abandoned them without a single word of goodbye. This was too to be announced tonight, but it was important for all to realize that war had already lashed out for members and it was time declare war on Inferni and attempt to extinguish them once and for all. It was well known that Haku was no angel like his former ivory coated Rosea, but the Inferni clan held a worse reputation in general and there was evidence on Haku’s side today. Mew drifting closer and closer towards death and Haku’s own body bore new cuts and slashed not yet hidden by his thick chocolate coat. It helped to know that Gabriel de le Poer too held those same shallow injuries up in his north-western kingdom. The difference was that Haku had been attacked on his own soil and not the opposite like the war had started last time. The blue eyed male remembered his massacre well. He had found beauty unheard of in the sight of the woman and her child in death. He had devoured their souls and defiled their bodies and thrown Dahlia petals about the crime scene. Haku was a creature of war and the threat from the coyotes and hybrids had certainly never been larger than this. This was no pitiful thing like the last so called war. This would be so much more and Haku would let all his minions taste blood before this conflict found its end. He hoped to find a similar bloodlust in their eyes once the news was finally out.
The compact secui in chocolate and cream lifted his head up towards the darkening sky and let out his summon for the members of Dahlia de Mai – young and old, cripples and healthy individuals, those who could come were to come. He then sat back and waited with brilliant blue eyes filled with the usual emptiness. It would not be for long though. His eyes would show them war and his voice would show them purpose and determination. Their Rosea had left them in the past when they had needed her most, but the Rosen they had today would proudly lead t hem into battle and seek the end of the Inferni clan once and for all. His decaying heart demanded sacrifices; though it was not only members he was willing to put to risk. War was not safe. War was not pretty. War involved huge risks and sacrifices and Haku was willing to go all the way out if necessary. Minos and Conor had already received a first taste of the brooding conflict and he would make sure the pack as a whole would participate in the killing and feast on the hybrid blood of the hellish coyote clan. Blue eyes rose to the sky as it slowly exploded into colours as the sun sought the horizon in slow motion - Orange, red, purple and pink. Most would have found this sight exceptionally beautiful, but Haku’s soul was hallow and could not see the beauty of the nature. The colourful play on the sky danced about in the snow and created illusions of coloured snow crystal. Haku’s heart was black and he could only see blood and death. He saw the familiar shadows of the long deceased souls turned into ghouls slowly wander across the landscape; stalking the outskirts of the meeting stones. Not even once did it occur to him to ponder if he was truly insane by seeing such things.
Angels and demons were gathering on the earth like vultures on the sky in silent expectation. They knew there would be flesh and souls ready to be devoured when the battle truly started and anticipation lay thick in their minds and they smiled their horrible smile. Haku smiled back.
