Immediately after Sic showed up, a pale, brownish furred woman appeared, glancing this way and that as if seeking someone. He hunkered down closer in his hood, only his eyes drawn to the next to show up—thankfully this was a man, pale furred and with brilliant yellow eyes. Sicarus immediately decided there was something wrong with him—perhaps he was an outcast of sorts? He remained on the outskirts of the grouping, his white fur reflecting the pale moonlight in a rather ghostly fashion. The next to show up was a young man with rather striking eyes; other than that feature he appeared rather nondescript to Sicarus, and so he passed this wolf on. He did not know that this was the son of the exhalted leader, otherwise he might have paid more mind to the purple-eyed man.

The next to show up did not even register on Sicarus's radar; puppies were almost entirely foreign to him. He had never seen one so close before in his life, and it was vaguely disgusting to him. It was a girl-child, and as a female child it was weaker than anything else. Even the other women were above her. Another woman showed up, and the writhing thing on her shoulder appeared to be another puppy. It was all Sicarus could do not to move to the outskirts of the group entirely; only the proximity of Haku kept him where he was. After that yet another woman, and another, and younger man, three more women—women! Dahlia de Mai was filled with women. Sicarus realized this with dismay at first, and disgust as more and more of them had slowly filtered in—now his gaze was directed at Haku, completely indifferent to anyone else scurrying in late. The Leader would speak soon, he realized, and his attention must not waver.

Sicarus in front of Haku was an entirely different creature from the comrade of Kai and the almost maniacal fighter he became at times, driven mad by bloodlust. There was nothing more than professionalism about him; his face had not wavered in emotion even as he viewed the mass of women infecting Dahlian soil, and his head had remained in place, only his eyes wavering. Now they were focused again at the feet of Haku, and they sparsely blinked as he began to speak. With his words grew Sicarus's belief that the man was plenipotentiary of Dahlia de Mai; there was no greater leader than their Rosen. Overcome with joyous emotion for the strength of his master and the strength of his pack, the wolf lifted his muzzle for the first time since arriving, his voice sharp and clipped: "Rex non potest peccare," he remarked quietly, as if it were a prayer to Haku himself—it almost was; the wolf's head dipped forward just a bit more toward his great and glorious leader. Once more his voice rose to echo his clanmate's sentiments, and Sicarus spoke far louder this time: "Death to the coyote clan!"
