The world is love

Hope this is okay! It's set in Sea Dog Isle, but I can change that if it doesn't suit you. ^^ Sorry it took me so long to get it up!

It had been a long time since Lili had gone swimming. Almost never did she do so in her Optime form, but it was good practice, and her muscles could use the change of pace. She'd swum all the way to this island, and when she'd gotten here, she'd found green as far as the eye could see...and strange coins on the ground, buried beneath the sand. Fog rolled in from farther inland, and Lili was left with three coins in her hand and one between her fingers, holding it up to the light. It was almost eery, the way it glinted greedily, and the light caught it perfectly. It seemed just the sort of thing that would tug at her heart, if...she knew what it was meant to be.

There was a picture of what she was certain was a human, when she looked closer, and she nearly threw the coins away from herself in terror when she made the realization. Humans were cursed; the coins had to be, as well. She shuddered slightly, and stepped away from them, but a ghostly moaning from the trees made her hesitate once more. If the coins had once been important, it was even more so that they remain undisturbed. She bent within the fog cloud and gathered the ones she could see, and then dug a small hole with one hand, carefully tipping the five--five? Hadn't there been four?--coins into it. Then she covered it and stepped away, drawing a symbol in the air which meant be gone in her family.

She shivered and rubbed her arms, careful of the steps she took as she walked down the beach. The fog had, by now, covered the water, as well--it probably wasn't safe to swim back yet. So Lili walked, very careful not to look down when her feet brushed something or she stepped on an oddly shaped "rock", and tried to ignore the signs of unrest around her.

In Character

So far so good. It had been nearly a week since he’d left Cercatori D’Arte and moved to the neighbouring pack; Dahlia de Mai. Even though he had yet to really make himself known to the other pack members, he was confident that this time round he’d settle in and make himself useful; prove the Nayru had been right to accept him into their ranks and hopefully become a wolf his sister could be proud of.

Yet, still he strayed from pack lands. But unlike before, he was not running from anything, not trying to escape reality; wondering was just in his very nature and he found it hard to stick to one place without growing bored. As well as his self confidence returning, the newly made Subordinate had been slowly cutting back on the amount of Vodka he consumed.

It was already near midday and he had only taken two sips from his flask! Which was a great improvement from his usual two flasks in which he would have drunk by such a time. Now that he was drinking less and less, he was beginning to adjust to life as a sober wolf; dealing with problems and making rational decisions were new to him and challenging.

Following nothing but his own whim, his feet lead him to a waters edge. Squinting ice blue eyes, he could see a small island ahead, but fog covered the water and it would be unsafe to travel to the separated land at such a time…. But apparently, even when he was sober, the grey male could never turn down a challenge; especially when one lay right before him.

Tightening the opening on his bag, he made sure the thing was as water tight as it was going to get and he jumped into the obscured water. After swimming blindly for an amount of time, he eventually found himself upon land once more. Standing on soft sand, he shook his head from side to side, spraying water droplets into the air.

The task hadn’t been all that challenging after all, he turned and looked back across the fog covered water. Now that he was on the island, he wasn’t entirely sure what to do.
