Robin, Cavalry prompt!
The Marshal rode along the path through the woods, slowly and carefully as to keep the stallion from hitting a root or pit. A cold morning had turned to a sunny afternoon, a perfect day to take the ride to the Court's city. Lunenburg was not the sort of place Alder could be found often. He was far more content in the stables or fixing up his cabin just the way he liked it. But he knew the pack needed to fix the damage that the Guardians had done to the buildings there, and Alder felt it was his duty to help where he could. He had been in Crimson Dreams at the time, and so unable to defend his home. Though he was not much of a fighter he now knew, after raiding AniWaya with the rest, he could do something in such situations. Even if it was something as simple as not being afraid.
His whistled to the birds, happiness in his heart, and tried to speak in their low-speaking tongue. He was a master of the horse dialect. But song birds still ignored most of his calls to them. Many would be moving on soon, if they had not already started their migration. The masked wolf would have to pick up the lessons again in the spring.
The forest's trees dwindled and the cleared, and though he was still yards and yards away he could see the damage that had been done. A frown set on face, the anger towards the tribe setting in. He had to remind himself that his family was safe. His mother returned and the threat extinguished to keep himself from growing too angry. Instead he kicked the horse forwardly gently to get a closer look.

Woo!!! Let's get to fixing the house! Sorry for making you wait hun WC: 770 The young patchwork girl had been up since dawn, she had been playing around the lands, having a casual hunt for Liam, she hadn't seen him, not properly since the fight that she, the white Aniwayan female and he had had with the guardians, she had known that he had been off to fight in the war, and knew that he was alive, but she had not really had a chance to talk to him properly since. Alas he had been nowhere to be found, so the young female had walked towards the stables in search of her other beloved friend, Scarlett. The young girl had grown a lot in the recent weeks, almost standing at her adult height now, already she was almost taller than her mother, something that amused her greatly. Her mane had grown as well, it was now bouncing around her shoulders, the long brown curls and waves blew gently in the breeze as she walked. Soon enough the young girl found herself at the stables and Scarlett raised her large head, giving a whinny in greeting to the patchwork Major. Robin smiled at the large butter cream coloured mare and gave a wave, the mare watched her with large, intelligent brown eyes and tossed her head. Someone had already been in and placed a bridle upon the female horse; today was going to be a challenge for the young female and her equine companion, Robin had ridden her the day that they had run away from Aniwaya, it had been a haphazard escape with her ebony pelted great grandmother clinging to the reins and panicking a great deal. They had both had no idea what they had been doing, swaying wildly on the bare back of the large mare, both clinging to whatever they could get hold of in order to stay upright. But now Robin was determined to attempt another ride, the mare was not wearing a saddle, but she had not been the day that Robin had first ridden her and she did not see the point. The girl smiled at the mare and opened the stable door, hitching the quiver on her back into a more comfortable place, it held the bow from her great grandmother and some arrows, it was a precious possession and since the war Robin was almost never seen without it. Carefully the patchwork girl took the pale female's reins and lead her outside, moving her towards a stable looking mounting block, an object that was tall enough for the young wolf to stand upon and clamber onto the mare's back. She took a deep breath and clambered onto the mare's back, moving so that she was sitting comfortably; luckily Scarlett was compliant and very patient, so she didn't make any sudden movements. With a gentle kick the patchwork girl nudged the female on, who began a slow gait, Robin wobbled here and there but ultimately managed to stay on the horse's back, she grinned and let out a little victory cry as they went. This spurred Scarlett into a faster gait, a much more bouncy one that caused Robin to wobble from side to side, she clung to the reins and attempted to stay on the mare's back, somehow it worked. Soon enough she was relaxed in this new bouncy gait, bouncing along with the butter cream mare as they bounced along towards Lunenburg, although the little female was doing alright on her own she thought that some tuition would be needed before she tried to ride more often; her first thought had been of her uncle, he had always been very good with horses and often he was found in Lunenburg. She pulled the reins slightly, directing the mare towards the city, grinning and giggling as they padded along. Soon enough they reached the city and as luck would have it there was her uncle, Robin tugged at the reins as she had seen her father do when he wanted Drogon to slow or stop. She grinned and her tail began to wag, thumping slightly against Scarlett's side as her masked uncle came into view, riding the familiar dark horse, Hawthorn. She gripped the reins in one hand and raised the other muted grey hand in greeting. .robincub b {font-weight:bold; color:#607792; letter-spacing:.0px; } .robincub-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .robincub p {text-indent:5px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .robincub {margin:0 auto; width:457px; background-color:#D7B778; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... bincub.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #FDFCE7; padding: 240px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#A3773A; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} .robincub-line1 {width:407px; border-bottom:1px dotted #9C865A; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>

Sorry for the wait on this, it's been a bizarre and busy few weeks :S WC: 693 It was true that the young patchwork Aatte was struggling slightly with the horse riding; the mare was a very patient and calm creature, she seemed to have a very protective feeling towards Robin as well, but Robin was simply not used to the movement of a horse yet and was wobbling a little upon her back, it was something that could be solved with time and patience of course, but those were traits that the young girl did not have in great abundance. Still she was greatly enjoying riding Scarlett, the pale mare took much larger strides that the small female herself could and so the land was being crossed at a much faster pace, something that the impatient Aatte was very pleased about, after all she wanted to know everything and be everywhere at once, this way at least she could get to where she wanted to be a little faster. The small girl smiled as she saw her Uncle turn to approach, it was nice to see him, the young girl did not often see her family much anymore, her siblings and parents were very busy nowadays and although the small female went back to the house to sleep she rarely saw much of them, she missed them. Robin especially missed her uncle, he had moved out of the house and it was strange not having the masked male around, it was one less playmate that was in the house after all, it was lovely to see him. He called to her in greeting and the small female's two tone tail began to thump against the mare's side once again, Scarlett let out a whinny of slight annoyance and shifted her weight slightly, making the small female wobble as she did so. Luckily the small female regained her balance as her uncle approached, trying to make it seem as though she was perfectly comfortable atop the horse. Uncle Alder said that she looked well, especially atop Scarlett and the small female grinned, she was now even more pleased to see him, she had so very much to tell the brown pelted male. "I am well Uncle Alder! Thank you, this is Scarlett, she's my horse now. How are you? I've missed you." Robin replied, still grinning at her uncle. Scarlett shifted her weight again and stretched her neck out to sniff at Hawthorn, it seemed that the pale female knew the male well, she gave a whinny in greeting to the male, seeming to want to start a conversation, especially if her patchwork charge was going to speak to the masked wolf. Robin smiled at her uncle, reaching up to brush a strand of her unruly mane from her large blue eyes. She listened as her uncle explained what his plan for the day was and she nodded, her eyes roving to the nearby buildings, it saddened her to see them in such a state of disrepair, even though the war was over and the bad Aniwayans seemed to have gotten what they deserved they had still left scars on the lands, this made the patchwork female's ears droop a little as she thought on it. It, of course, reminded her of her own fight at the borders with the Aniwayan guardians, she had shot them both but had not managed to kill either, that had been left to Liam and the pale Aniwayan female, it saddened her a little that her brown friend, her best friend, had blood on his hands now. She looked back at her uncle, her blue eyes filled with sorrow. No problem at all with that m'dear Also do you know who made this table? I can't find out who it was anywhere :S WC: 777 The young patchwork girl was very pleased to see her uncle well and happy, the war had had so many terrible effects on the wolves across the lands; many would never be the same again, whether or not they were small changes, some were a little less trusting, a little more curt in their replies, some were physically injured, like Liam and others, other had faced the very worst fate, some were dead. The young female was pleased to see her uncle was in good health, she did not know what she would have done had she lost any family members on the battlefield, or Liam of course. She had been so very, very worried that her father had gone off to war, along with her best friend, that had been exacerbated by her father banning her from leaving the lands for the duration of the war. After the large grey Aniwayan guardian had tried to capture her and her great grandmother had been injured her in the rescue she had been forced to stay within the lands. She had managed to stay within them for the time being, but she had been in a battle against the Aniwayans even so, they had come onto the land and she and Liam, along with a pale Aniwayan that had turned traitor to Maska, had had to defend their home, they had been successful, but the toll on their own souls had been great. The pair that were not Robin had both killed someone and Robin had aided them, that was a taint that could never be washed off, no matter how hard one tried; it had been for the right reason of course, the guardians were planning on killing all who they found in the lands and perhaps capturing some, but still, causing death was something that no-one should ever have to do. The young female was pleased that all her friends and family had returned alive, although perhaps not completely well. Seeing her uncle again was a gift for the young female. She smiled at her uncle and willingly followed him, nudging Scarlett on gently, even though she had not needed any encouragement. Her uncle was a master at the low speech of horses and the mare seemed happy to obey his orders. The young female smiled and looked at her uncle. .robin-chucks .ooc {font-style:italic; } .robin-chucks p {padding:2px 0px; margin:0px; text-indent:35px;} .robin-chucks b {color:#f9f456; letter-spacing:-.2px; text-shadow:#000000 2px 2px 2px; } .robin-chucks {background-color:#557007; background-image:url(http://solacerp.net/Robin/Robin_chucks.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:2px solid #FFFFFF; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#fefddd; letter-spacing:.4px; word-spacing:.3px; line-height:16px; width:425px; text-align:justify; } .robin-chucks-border {width:429px; border:1px solid #000000; margin:0 auto;} .robin-chucks .inner {margin:242px 10px 10px 10px; padding:10px; background-image:url(http://sleepyglow.net/souls/25pct_white.png); border:1px solid #000000; border-radius:20px;-moz-border-radius:20px; -webkit-border-radius:20px;} </style>
