It had been a very warm and sunny day, but with the night came much cooler temperatures. She had, for the most part, taken a whole entire day off of her normal routine. Usually the green eyed wolf went out and looked around the borders for any strangers, visited wolves, then practiced or read until the sun went down. She hadn't been prepared for the heat wave that had taken over Aniwaya; her favorite practicing spot was directly in the sunlight. She would have to find a new one for these warmer days. It didn't look like it was likely to get cold again.

Ember walked through the darkness on two legs, her black cloak covering most of her body. She had gone to the border many times during the day, but not very often at night. She would keep watch of it for a few hours and walk along it to see if anyone was waiting there or trying to come inside. She was a warrior of Aniwaya, after all, and it was her job to make sure that the pack was safe. Especially at night time.

She reached the area of the border where the river crossed it and stopped, cupping her hands down into the water to get a drink.

Ooc: Hello ^.-!

Catherine was riding Bluma, as usual, with Seymour flying above her head, up high, his shape almost impossible to see, and Saw coiled around her neck, like a "living" scarf. They all were tired, as the sun had cooked them alive that day. Sometimes, they passed under a tree's shadow, it was refreshing, until they passed by it, and it was all past. It was very annoying, but the place they were going to would worth it. They were going to the river, fill up the water jars the grayish woman kept to don't have to travel all this way to get some, and to refresh themselves. Althought it was a warm night, they were still with that hot sensation. It always bugged the woman, and she didn't want them to have the same issue.

Even in the night,it was easy for her to see in the dark. Inspite of her blinded eye, the glowing eyes of her Spirit Guide was like a lighthouse in the night, and Seymour could guide her a little. She could hear the sound of the riverbend not too far, so she quickened Bluma's pace with a tender kick in the mare's tighs. Only two seconds passed until the small head of Saw rose up, his bright-yellowed lamp eyes directed to a well-known shape for Catherine. Ember. The first AniWayan she ever met, the one that met her in the borders. She could reconize her anywhere. A wide smile appeared in her face as she made the mare turn around toward the black female. Hello, Ember! It's been a while. she greeted, dismounting the horse and rubbing the equine's neck with one hand, and held the halter's rope with another.

Her own spirit animal lived in whatever body of water he could find. At first Ember had thought that she could only find him near Beast Grin peninsula, but now she realized that if she wanted him to, the orca would come out of any body of water that she was near. He popped up in the river, the little tributaries...as long as they were wide enough, the whale was at home in any body of water no matter how shallow. 'A puddle, maybe?', she wondered. It would have to be a really big puddle.

It seemed that she wasn't the only one up having night time adventures; Catherine approached her on her horse, and Ember lifted a hand to wave to her. "Hey there, Catherine. How're you doing?" She hadn't seen Catherine too often since the female's joining. It was nice to meet up again!

Ooc: --

As Ember greeted her back, she walked toward her, Bluma following her calmly whinning quietly to the black woman, as the mare was greeting her itself. Catherine held a laugh. That horse seemed to have consciece of things, more than normal ones. It was rather funny.

As the grayish female got near, she held up a hand to the woman. I'm very good, thank you, she aswered, her warm voice flowing through the cool night. And you?, she asked back, as it was the standart of a greeting. Saw nodded slowly to Ember, as a reverence. He always did that. Seymour landed in the nearest tree branch, his low cry calling out from the dark, warning them of his position. It was good to see the dark woman again. Meeting someone was a fine thing, good to distract Catherine of her problems.

She could talk to some creatures, but wasn't too sure about horses just yet. Ember hadn't interacted with them very much in any of her old packs...this was the only place that'd had horses. She didn't know much about them, so she was a little hesitant about getting one for herself. It looked really useful, to ride around on them like Catherine did on Bluma, though.

"Awesome! I've been wondering about maybe finding a horse for me...we have stables here. Is that where you keep your horse?" She asked, curious.

Ooc: Awful post... so tiny XP

Catherine smiled gently at the black female's will to get a horse as well. And she tilted her head to her question. Not really. I made a little shelter for her besides my house's entrance. I only let her there for when it is too cold, which is not the case these days, she told her, being honest. It was just a small cabin, with a little door. It was just temporary, until she made a bigger and stronger building.
