- Firefly Sadira - 09-30-2008 There was no reason for her to have wandered from the packlands except the fact that she did. The multihued girl was quick on her feet as she approached the old lands where her brother resided. She could sense the changes in the scent of the pack as well as some of the members. Firefly wasn't exactly sure what had happened but she was mildly interested in finding out. Soft padding paws moved across the edge of their territories, not the same ones she remembered last, but she could still detect the scent of her silbing. Smiling slightly to herself she sighed and walked the edge of the packlands, trying to see if anyone was even along the propery. She could see the mansion from where she stood but even on tiptoes she couldn't catch any movement along the lands. Grumbling to herself she sat at the edge of the lake and began to skip stones across the surface, waiting in the growing twilight as the soft sound of the skipping rocks met her ears. She was beginning to grow annoyed with the world, herself included. Haku hadn't showed his face, almost making her believe that she had been right but yet she was still a coward that couldn't come face to face with the subleader to find out the truth. Clitching her fingers around the smooth flat rock she held she closed her eyes against the anger that was building once more in her soul. Why oh why did that man have the ability to make her do the unexpected, this wasn't the Firefly she knew. - Anu - 10-04-2008 [html] hi!
- Firefly Sadira - 10-10-2008 Firefly had hoped that it was her brother that would have found her first, she missed him, though she probably wouldn't admit it right now. The soft voice that met her with the questioning aire was not Kansas' and what little hope she might have had for visiting her sibling seemed to be crushed. It was ok, nothing really seemed to be going herway anymore. Ignoring the woman for a moment she skimmed the last two stones atop the lake, watching the swift skips across the still surface before gravity took over the magical sight and with one last plop the lake stole the stone to it's watery depths. Turning her emerald orbs back to the lady she could tell that she was one of the members of this new pack, this new pack that her brother resided with now. She wanted to know what had happened to the old pack, where her adopted sister and brother were.. but she wasn't for certain if she really wanted to ask anyone other than those she knew... and even Naniko was at odd with asking.. she knew she was family.. but the two children of the Matriarch were lost on eachother. So queer, to be strangers in your own family. She nodded to the lady and greeted her in turn. "Hello.." She knew she was still outside their borders so technically she wasn't in any sortof trouble, but lingering on borders was still a questionable approach to finding someone. She knew she should have just called for Kansas, but she really didn't want the whole world to know she was looking for him, wasn't she suppose to be the strong and dangerous one, always looking for trouble and walking on the dark side of life. Flicking her bangs back from her face she continued. "So... what happened to the last pack that lived here.." She was rather curious as to how a totally new pack appeared but with members she still knew, though there were some missing as well. That much she could tell. - Anu - 10-18-2008 [html] sorry for slowness.
- Firefly Sadira - 10-22-2008 Firefly turned her orbs to the woman before her as she seemed to try and find the right answer for Firefly's question. She smiled slightly as the woman informed her that the pack had merged with another to become bigger and stronger.. when Firefly herself knew that Shadowed Sun had barely had enough packmembers to survive on their own when she'd taunted and teased about their borders. She nodded at the girls words and chuckled at the thought of the two forming a stronger more powerful pack with the tiny handful that Shadowed Sun had to offer. It really was a pathedic thought. "I know of Shadowed Sun.. they didn't seem like much more than some scattered loners last I heard." She flicked her eyes to the other and shrugged. It really wasn't her care that this new pack thought they had to prove they were big and bad to some single character. Firefly watched the ripples that washed against the shore a moment before turning her eyes back to the woman, the question she'd asked was a serious one but Firefly had no means for serious business today. She just laughed and shook her head sadly. "No no, This place may be to my twin's likings.. but it ain't home to me..." She didn't exactly mean the words to be insulting but she figured in the end it would turn out thatway. - Anu - 10-27-2008 [html] so sorry, i suck
- Firefly Sadira - 10-27-2008 Firefly raised her eyes to the stranger for a moment as she herself began to wonder. The bronze and gold girl knew that the pack here was family, she just didn't care to know her family as well as others often did, just Kansas. Her emerald eyes once more met those of the other woman as she simply stated. "I know, but I don't need to find out about them all.. just one." She flicked her eyes back towards the packlands as she sighed. It was obvious that Kansas wasn't on border patrol today and she wasn't going to get lucky like last time. Nudging a few pebbles along their way over the edge of the bank to a watery grave she watched the murky waters gobble the stone up. As Anu asked her if she was meeting a packmember Firefly just shook her head and admitted. "No.. I just thought Kansas would find me.. " Kansas had always had time for Firefly in the past and she him.. but in this whole new world with new packs and different friendships and paths they walked it seemed like the past was going to stay the past and she'd be lucky to get a quick glimpse of him from time to time in passing. She was more than a little disappointed but her words were all that really let it show this time. - Anu - 10-28-2008 [html]
- Firefly Sadira - 10-29-2008 Firefly had long been absent from her siblings life, the pack she resided in wasn't all that far but her world seemed to spin on a whole other axis than the world he lived in. She was wreckless and wild while he was a gentle and wonderous soul. The girl tilted her head to the side and eyed the woman who she knew by now was examining everything about her, attempting to figure out how she ticked. The tawny and bronze youth wished her luck silently, no one as of yet had come close to figuring her out, even her brothers had just resorted to believing that she was who she was and did what she pleased. She examined the waters of the lake silently as the question came down upon her ears. She paused in her scan of the banks as she thought hard about that. She could remember growing up that she'd felt ghost like pains and emotions, generally when she slept or was daydreaming, she'd believed that it had all been just that, the lucrid world of dreams but perhaps it wasn't. She flicked her ears back and shrugged. "We understood eachother, perhaps better than most. He's my lighter side.." she didn't finish the words just yet..though she knew that Kansas probably knew them by heart. "and I'm his darkness." They were a strange pair but never had there been two more alike in their differences. - Anu - 11-05-2008 [html]
- Firefly Sadira - 11-06-2008 Firefly had recently been broken in mind and spirit, it was a slow process to fix and she'd only just begun walking down that path. Sooner or later she would return to the fun loving dark and tantalizing soul she loved to be. Haku had yet to reappear from the woodwork and she was unsure where her world was going. She watched the woman as she moved down to the water and her toes seemed to just barely grace the surface as she watched her quietly wondering just why the woman hadn't shooed her on her way just yet. She'd expressed her dislike for their pack, (though it was truly a lie, Firefly didn't hate the pack, she was just not interested in knowing her family within the pack). Firefly's ears flicked back as she hummed softly, a wordless tone from overseas. Though the soft lull was cut short by the lass' question. Pausing in her ditty for a moment Firefly answered, "Now? Dahlia de Mai.." She said softly, her mind wondering back to the clan she once resided in and the world she had loved, so wild and free without a care in the world. There had been rules and restrictions, but not like there was here.. and sometimes she wished that she was back in the Emerald Isles. - Anu - 11-10-2008 [html]
- Firefly Sadira - 11-12-2008 "Perhaps you need to get out more?" Firefly said as the woman responded to the name of the pack she resided in. It was almost a surprise to the Sadira child to hear the woman say such, as much time as it had been since the fires and as much as the packs at one time had been so intermingled she could hardly believe this wolf from this newly reformed pack had never heard of Dahlia de Mai. She knew it could be a possiblity that the girl wasn't from across the mountain, but didn't packmembers ever get out anymore? She banished the thoughts from her mind as her eyes trailed off the other woman and towards the distant mountains. The woman announced her name, something Firefly had yet to do, and within second it was obvious that the lady had noticed to. Grinning at the woman, slightly amused by her gusto with trying to get the name from the Dahlia de Mai member. "Firefly Sadira." she said, wondering if there was more to this quiet packmate that just seemed to like to linger along the edge of the borders she belonged to. When she was met with those staring eyes Firefly was hardly phased, but she figured she might as well find a reason for standing about since the woman was probably growing bored with babysitting the brat that didn't belong."You from other there too?" she asked, she knew that not everyone had made the journey over the mountain, but so many did, it was worth a shot. - Anu - 11-14-2008 [html]
- Firefly Sadira - 11-16-2008 While Firefly spent time within the packlands aplenty she also had a need to explore and to know the lands. In her mind when one knew the lands there was nothing that could be hidden from them nor few things to surprise. She was rude in her words to the other woman but she really didn't care, that was just her nature, to be blunt and point out what was in clear sight, even if no one wanted or needed it shown to them. Her eyes flicked back to the woman as she moved to lean against a tree again, Firefly herself sat down on the bank of the lake, her feet mere inches from the edge of the lapping waters as Anu began to explain where she'd come from. Firefly dug her toes into the pebbles as she was questioned in turn. Raising her emerald eyes she answered truthfully for once. "I was born in Storm, though I ran away when I was really small and stalked my half brother as he set out of the territory." A dark grin spread across her maw as she admitted. "I guess I wanted a little bit of adventure.. I sure got it." she said, the irish accent she'd aquired in her time abroad more than apparent as she chuckled. She plucked a stalk of grass from beside her as she threw another question to the looming member above her. "Why did you roam?" The grass found it's way to her maw as she rolled it across her tongue. "What made you stop anyways.." She had family as her reason for leaving Eire, but she didn't really want to get into that just yet and it was Anu's turn in this round of twenty questions. - Anu - 11-16-2008 [html]
- Firefly Sadira - 11-16-2008 Her ears perked slightly as the other woman spoke of Phoenix Valley, she raised a brow and interjected. "You joined Phoenix Valley?" She resisted the urge to roll her eyes as she laughed a moment. Go figure the woman would have been attracted to her mother's pack. She really hadn't met anyone from Phoenix Valley except family, and they all seemed about the same.. so caring and devoted to their family, to their pack that she was almost disgusted. She wouldn't admit that she was the same deep down, but she covered it nicely with her icy bitch exterior, complete with wall around her heart and little care for the weepy drama of another's life. When the woman moved on to how she'd arrived in Crimson Tears Firefly's nose wrinkled at that old saying. She knew the heart could make you do foolish and rather stupid things, crazy fit right in there too but the love she crashed and ground against was nothing like anything Anu would probably ever experiance. She chuckled to herself as she thought of Haku and the passion and fire that raged side by side in their relationship. She sighed and shook her head as she pushed past the thought. She rolled to the side as she chewed on the grass quietly, she'd been asked another question and she frowned as she answered, not really wanted to but knowing there was no reason not to. "I made a promise.. before I knew Eire would steal my heart and become my home." She was homesick everytime she was reminded of the lands but the dark and dangerous man was enough to hold her here for now even though the fire between their touch was enough to consume the two.. and repeatedly they'd burn their world down around one another in rage.. it was enough.. so like Eire herself. - Anu - 11-16-2008 [html]
- Firefly Sadira - 11-16-2008 When they talked of bad apples and family trees some would have looked at Firefly and called it, others wouldn't have but it really ddin't mater to the girl how her family or even strangers saw her. She saw herself in the exact manner she wanted to so the rest of the world was nothing in those eyes. She found it odd how some could connect her so quickly to the family and others would go through their lives and never know unless it was pointed out to them. She was more at ease with the second line, seeing how she didn't want to be connected or reminded of her family ties. She spat the grass out beside her as her eyes flickered to the other woman as she went on with that misty eyes look of one in love. Firefly was grateful that her relationship was a little more complicated than sickly sweet words and contented sighs but she knew to each their own. She still wrinkled her nose at the mention once more of love leading one's life, real love, not love for a land like she'd referred to. The girl quietly picked another stem of wild wheat as she played at the grass between her fingers. "Eire.. my emerald isle.." She paused a moment, realizing she'd yet to call the land by it's last given name. "Ireland.. is across the sea." she said firmly. Her mind was a buzz with strange ways and the sounds of the children of the clan laughing as the shaman told them the stories of how the wolves had taken back the lands that had once been stolen from then when humans still roamed the worlds. She smiled for a second as she turned back to Anu. "Things.. were different there.." she said softly. - Mati Church - 11-16-2008 [html] dam it! i knew i would do this... sorry, getting used to this account linking thing..
